Hey we might have to start a new winning thread. With all the great PR's to start it off with. What a great week of great news. And the pps will start moving real soon. You can't say we are not real now. David Letterman, Liz Tyler, and the Sundance Film Festival. You don't get this type of recognition without people knowing you are going places. And this is just the new stuff.

Nothing big just a small article that mentioned Logo in todays New York Newsday.
Viacom plans Net, cable expansion
BY HARRY BERKOWITZ STAFF WRITER
January 12, 2005
Having dropped Mel Karmazin as its tight-pocketed president last year, CBS parent Viacom Inc. is eager to expand by acquiring Internet companies and cable networks, chairman Sumner Redstone said last night.
The giant media company is also considering allowing its debt rating to drop slightly to gain more borrowing capacity to help acquire companies and especially to step up its buyback of its own stock, which it has already said it plans to spend $8 billion to do.
"A lot of our money will be used to increase our presence on the Internet, where we are underinvested and underrepresented," Redstone said in a presentation at a Citigroup Smith Barney media conference in Phoenix.
Redstone also said that Viacom is "in the market for any good cable channel that's in our price range, and we could stretch a little bit."
In 2001, Viacom, which owns MTV and Nickelodeon and is launching a new gay-oriented channel called Logo, bought the Black Entertainment Television network for $3 billion.
We are very interested in cable programming assets," Redstone said. "We see some coming on the market."
He did not name any, but among cable channels, John Malone's Liberty Media, which controls the Discovery channels and Starz-Encore, has talked about restructuring.
Also, Cablevision Systems Corp. recently canceled plans to spin off AMC, WE: Women's Entertainment and IFC, along with its Voom satellite TV service, as a separate company. In the past, Viacom had considered buying AMC but found that Cablevision was asking too steep a price.

logo will not hurt Q. it will be on basic or digital packages thus it will have to watch its content to some extent. also not all companies that want to advertise to the g/l community will want it on everyone's tv. if given a choice many big companies would rather a premium channel thus hiding to some extent. Q's main competition is here! TV. here! has the broadcast rights to the queer lounge this month. something Q should have jumped on. it does seem the Q has the better programing. here! has both satillite & 4 cable systems but if Q can prove its programming is better with syndication & get comcast or get other cable systems to put it head to head like RCN has Q's better programming should win out

Nothing but good news lately, Letterman acknowledges QTN and no one else, Here! is reported to have poor programming while QTN is praised, QTN comes up with innovative live television for the gay community, etc etc.
The only problem I see right now is the pps doesn't reflect the good news.
Many people have mentioned it though, the stock rose 4900% this year with a peak at 28000%. Thats a pretty damn good year for a company that only soft launched and had 1/100th of what it has going for it now. If we produce the same results this year we'll be sitting at .196 with a peak at 1.12.
Now consider that they're finally establishing an actual show and are no longer just soft launching. We're waiting on the PR about the celebrity gay talk show hosts for Good Morning Gay America. They're producing shows, Tribute to Elizabeth Taylor, that have commentaries from 50 celebrities not including well known gay personalities.
Like many technical investors say, there are many phases to a stock and the big one before a large price increase is accummulation. I still think we're in that phase. Now that we're getting nationwide exposure a lot of people are taking notice and pretty soon we'll make another launch upwards.
Accumulation Phase - This phase occurs immediately after the stock or index has made a new bottom. Note! It is quite common for stocks to retest the bottom two to three times before an actual serious accumulation phase begins.
We're testing the new lows now. I think we've set up a decent base just waiting for that one PR or MM day when the price just rockets.
I'm honestly asking what it is about QTN that you believe is overrated. I won't bash you and would rather engage in a convorsation. If you'd rather you can PM me. Matt

I wonder what's happening with this contract:
October 13, 2004 • Q Television Network Announces Partnership with Zephyr Media Group. Partnership Will Allow Q Television to Generate Revenues from Infomercials.
Another possible revenue source. Who says Q can't advertise or do infomercials, they can do whatever they need to do, not copy HBO or whoever.
I like the fact they are using the internet for Q live so for people outside of their viewing area its a good way of introducing themselves and perhaps requesting Q from their cable companies.
We should find out in the next 2 days about their morning hosts and perhaps a carrier or 2.
Remember their USA Today add mentioned to call your local cable company and they are mentioned on Letterman so they better have expanded viewing areas or receive egg on their faces.
Also I believe the Gay Games contract stipulates that them must have a specific viewing % at specific dates to not break the contract and I believe January was one of those dates.

yes but you still feel that this is the case. i am just pointing out that i feel you are wrong.
the potential is high, we are trading in a real tight AND i mean tight accumulation patern. this is as tight if not tighter then the last run that BigT called last in November when we hit .0097.
this thing could take off with out news at any point now.
Im ready, and have loaded up with more then i could have possibly imagined at these prices.
will by more next week if we are still sitting here. although I dont expect to be able to. I hope to but reality tells me that my next purchase will have me averaging up instead of down. Im ok with that scenario as well.
