If you read the CC the owner tried to address that. There really isn't anything to compare this too. Being a gay/lesbian network there are extra things to consider while starting up that in and of itself causes delays. I think we are moving ahead at a good pace and will be ahead of the market by middle of next year.

Heres transcripts of CC by 1BigTip:

What about comparing them to a tv network that is not doing gay and lesbian shows?. How long did it take them to start from the beginning to get where they are today?

There is no social pressures to slow down those. There has been in this case so it took longer. But social climite is changing and more advertisers are seeing a hugh untapped market here. Its like apple and oranges. You can compare but really the only thing in common is that they are fruit.

Are you people aware of how many Pink Sheet companies mention BuyBack plans & never act on them. There have been alot. They use it as a pump but never follow up because they don't have to. It is rare when a Pink Sheet actually lives up to this promise.

Watch what happens when our BuyBack is complete. My guess is there will be attendant news to go along with that announcement.

The mast dificult work has been completed,,,

"All we ever had to do is launch!"

In case most havent read the pages or news headlines for RCN Cable... take a look.

anybody with any insight on the future stability of RCN cable after the chapter 11 and restructuring process. And despite the possible 7 out of 10 top markets.. was this a wise choice of cable carriers .

rather curious ... as im not too certain how bankruptcy really works. They seem like they will continue.. even thos the ceo has stepped down etc.. etc.. and the chapter 11.

just would like to know what others think on this.

also checking the reviews on them as well.
http://www.dslreports.com/reviews/1781

Personally have never dealt with them..so I can't speak 1st hand on the quality of service they provide... just stuff I'm digging up as the day goes on .
Love to hear 1st hand info on the quality and service of the company.

Probably thinking why I was so stupid and stayed in this piece of crap. Should have gotten out when it was nearing 3 cents, but no, it was going to go through the roof. Just stay in, great accumulation phase. The only thing that is accumulating is piles of responses stating that this thing will fly

Hey guys,

It has been about 3 months since I last posted. I had to re-register because of some email difficulty. I wanted to post some info about BET… that seems to be the best comparison at this time.

Robert L. Johnson founded Black Entertainment Television, the first cable television network aimed at African-Americans. In 1999, Johnson sold the company to Viacom but remains its chairman and CEO. BET reaches more than 65 million U.S. homes and has expanded into other BET-related television channels, including BET International and BET Jazz. In 1998, Johnson created two more BET companies to produce and market films, documentaries and television movies with African-American themes. BET also has a Web site that is a joint venture of BET and Microsoft, Liberty Digital Media, News Corp. and USA Networks.

FULL NAME
Robert L. Johnson

BORN
April 8, 1946 in Hickory, Mississippi, the ninth of 10 children born to Archie and Edna Johnson.

EDUCATION
Johnson studied history at the University of Illinois and graduated in 1968 with a bachelor's degree. He earned a master's degree in public administration at Princeton University in 1972.

CAREER
Johnson worked for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the Washington Urban League before becoming press secretary for Walter E. Fauntroy, who was the congressional delegate from the District of Columbia. He moved from that position in 1976 to serve as vice president of government relations for the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), a trade association representing more than 1,500 cable television companies. In 1979, he left NCTA to create BET, which launched in January 1980, broadcasting for two hours a week.

Eleven years later, BET became the first black-controlled company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. In 1998, Johnson took the company private, buying back all of its publicly traded stock. A year later, Viacom bought BET for $2.3 billion in stock. Johnson continued to be the company's chairman and CEO. He also serves on the boards of U.S. Airways, General Mills and Hilton Hotels.

AWARDS
Johnson has received the 1997 Broadcasting & Cable Magazine's Hall of Fame Award and Cablevision Magazine's 20/20 Vision Award, which named him one of the 20 most influential people in the cable industry. He has received the NAACP Image Award and has been named a distinguished alumnus of Princeton University.

PERSONAL
Johnson and his wife, Sheila, have two children and live in Washington, D.C.

HEY PATRONS, THIS IS FRANKIE FRAUD OLSEN WITH AN UPDATE.

BACK IN 2000 IT COST US $7-MILLION DOLLARS FOR WHICH WE HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR.

NOW BETWEEN 2000 AND 2004, WE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING EXCEPT REDUCE OUR OPERATING EXPENSES TO $33,000 MONTH AND OVER 4-YEARS THAT TOTALS 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS.

NOW COMES 2004 AND WE HAVE GUARANTEED 5-YEAR BROADCAST FINANCING. ISN'T THAT GREAT NEWS?

OH WAIT, NEWSFLASH, A FEW WEEKS AFTER THE 5-YEARS OF BROADCAST FINANCING, WE SECURED A LOAN FOR $2-MILLION DOLLARS WHICH SECURES THE FIRST YEAR BROADCAST.

NO THIS DOESN'T CONTRADICT ITSELF WITH 5-YEARS GUARANTEED FINANCING AND THEN A 2-YEAR "LOAN" TO GUARANTEE 1-YEAR BROADCAST, HERE, HAVE A FEW BEERS AND IT'LL ALL BE VERY CLEAR TO YOU.

BUT WAIT,

NOW WERE GONNA DO ALL THIS STUFF AND SPEND $760,000 MONTH. NOW YOU ASK WHERE DOES THAT $760,000 A MONTH COME FROM? SHOOT, COME-ON BUDDY, HAVE A FEW MORE BEERS AND YOU'LL SEE CLEARLY NOW.

LET ME TELL YOU A BIG SECRET, WE GOT ADVERTISERS FOR A PAY CHANNEL WHICH ARE THE SAME ONE'S YOU SEE ON HBO, CINEMAX AND SHOWTIME BUT WHAT PEOPLE DON'T KNOW IS THAT THE ADVERTISERS AND COMMERCIALS ARE SUBLIMINAL, HAVE A FEW MORE BEERS WITH ME AND YOU'LL SURELY SEE THOSE ADVERTISERS. WE EVEN GOT DEPOSITS FROM THOSE ADVERTISERS.

OK, NOW THAT YOU UNDERSTAND ALL THIS AND THE MONEY ROLLING INTO OUR BANK ACCOUNTS, WE'RE GOING TO ISSUES 6-BILLION MORE SHARES OF STOCK. THEN... HERE TAKE A CHUG.... WE'RE GONNA AUTHORIZE ANOTHER 50-BILLION SHARES <BURP>

NOW.... HEY BARTENDER, ANOTHER ROUND ON QBID.... NOW WE'RE GONNA ISSUE ANOTHER BUYBACK. WE'VE DONE TWO, WELL... WE'VE ACTUALLY ANNOUNCED TWO PREVIOUSLY AND NEVER BOUGHT A SINGLE SHARE BACK BUT THIS BREW SURE IS GOOD. <HICCUP>

HEY, HAVE ANOTHER BEER... MORE GREAT NEWS <HICCUP> WE'RE UPGRADING THE STOCK JUST LIKE WE DID BACK IN 2000. TELL UM ABOUT IT RENEE.... "WELL THE SHELL IS DIRTY AND I DON'T THINK WE CAN CLEAN IT UP ENOUGH TO UPGRADE THE STOCK." HEY WAIT, BARTENDER, GET MY BOY HERE ANOTHER BEER SO HE CAN SEE THE STOCK CAN BE UPGRADED. BRING 4 MORE FOR MY HOMEBOY HERE RENEE...

OK RENEE.... ABOUT THAT STOCK UPGRADE! "OH YEA <HICCUP, BURP> THAT UPGRADE WILL BE COMPLETED IN 6 TO 12 MONTHS AND WE'RE WORKING ON THAT RIGHT NOW."

I TELL YA WHAT, I'VE OWNED JUNK YARDS.... I'VE OWNED 17 GAY BARS.... I'VE OWNED SHOWTIME BEFORE IT WAS BOUGHT OUT... I EVEN OWNED B.E.T. AND BOY I MADE A MINT ON THAT AND SOLD IT FOR $5-BILLION DOLLARS WITHOUT EVER SHOWING A PROFIT AND SOME SUCKER PAID ME $500-GA ZILLION DOLLARS FOR IT AND THAT WAS ONLY AFTER 3 BEERS <HICCUP>

BRIEF STORY ABOUT ME, I HAD A FRIEND NAMED WALT AND HE STOLE MY IDEA ABOUT MICKEY MOOSE. THAT FRAUD TOOK THE O AND CHANGED IT TO A U AND THE REST IS HISTORY. HEY BARTENDER, ANOTHER ROUND! <BURP>

NEXT ON MY LIST IF I DON'T FALL OFF THIS BARSTOOL, I'M GONNA BUY OUT THAT WONKA GUY AND WE'RE GONNA TURN IT INTO A GAY CHOCOLATE FACTORY. <HICCUP> AND I'M TIRED OF SEEING THE OOMPA LOOMPA'S BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST CAUSE THEY ARE GAY.

85-BOTTLES OF BEER ON THE WAY <BURP>

As I understood it, there was to be a buyback started last spring. What happened to that?
Also, where is evidece of the added buying volume that supports 600,000,000 share buyback that was started in Oct.? I don't see it.
Did I miss something?
Still wondering which cup the little pea is under.

I do question the volume and price, or lack of substantial increase in both, given the statement that 60%, hence guesstamate, 600,000,000 shares, have been bought back.

Is Frank buying these shares back from the open market or some body else? Also, if he's buying them back from the open market who's selling that amount or why hasn't the PPS risen more?

I would have expected an increase in PPS and volume on the positive news and press exposure alone, without said buyback.

I still see tons of potential here, but have to admit I'm a little puzzled.

Starting to wonder which cup the pea is under.

Hi everyone!!

U4's post cracked me up!!LOL I laughed most of the way through it...the whole Willie Wonka visuals were enough to send me over the edge...Okay. Enough...thinking we need to bring back the stinky diaper/chocolate pickle/happy turkey baister/protein shake and more conversations...LOL Hey, booze talk can work, too. Must say that I know very little about that.

Checking in...and out!

Too funny.

34 million a day over 6 week period will get that done. you mean to tell me it is impossible that they are doing this. there is 60-200 million shares sold everyday how do you figure it is not happening.

they said they are doing it. if they are not then it will hirt them in the long run.

give them till the end of this week. that will mark the 6 weeks that they said they would do the buyback in.

you can not prove they are not so why make a comment like this? I can see how it is quite possible for them to be doing it.

What i find remarkable is that people are selling them this cheap. if everyone held them the price would have to go up
