Sometime after midnight Wednesday, Anthony Perez, a documentary filmmaker following the journey for the new gay and lesbian channel, the Q Television Network, walked out of his Denver hotel room without his cell phone or card key. He did not show up when the riders met in the hotel lobby the next morning. He didn't make it to the breakfast meeting with local gay and lesbian supporters or to the rally in Denver's Civic Center Plaza. When Perez still hadn't shown up by 11 a.m., the scheduled departure time, the bus left without him. Bewildered, Roland Torres, the other half of the documentary team, stayed behind and notified police.

2004 We are in an "Accumulation within a rounding bottom"
The formation of a rounding bottom is usually an extended process. The decline in price (.028 - .0070) gradually decelarates until it merges into a section at the bottom which is almost flat (.0038-.0060) which then merges into a gradually accelerating rise. Because the initial phase of the price rise is so slow, the complete outline of the rounding bottom does not become apparent until an uptrend has been established.. If you can predict an accumulation pattern which could become a rounding bottom, you can be more then confident that the price will develop an uptrend.
2002,2003 It was in an "Accumulation within a trading range"
When a trading range forms, there is uncertainty about whether the price breakout will be to the upside or the downside. If well informed, long term investors are buying within the trading range (.0001 - .0005), the eventual breakout will probably be to the upside (.0001 - .028). But you should not buy the stock until the breakout occurs, because the upside breakout is not a certainty, and the length of the trading range can't be determined in advance.
They are accumulating shares folks and it should take a while because there is a huge float. But one thing is certain: The more shares they accumulate, the fewer are available to others and the available supply shrinks relative to demand. As this imbalance increases the upward pressure grows until the price begins to move higher.

Here's an image of a trading range accumulation which is what we are not in. This was more for 2002, 2003. It flat lined trading between .0001-.0006
This is more what I'm talking about for current but not exact. See how Time Warner went from $90 to $55. The point from $55 to $40 in those 3 months was the accumulation period. Then it broke upwards. Being we have a large float, it will take more time to accumulate. We have been accumulating IMO since end of July .0060 - .0038 range. It's only been 3 months.

its an easy thing to do i have been living in a hotel for 4 weeks and in that time i locked myself out of the room twice.
you have a tendency to leave the key on the desk in the room and then forget it whenyou go out to get ice or what ever you may be going out for.
now why he didnt have his wallet or a quarter in his pocket when he was out for a drink, that is the one that surprises me.
it was more then likely that he was sneaking a toke in the parking lot and got caught by the guard. Not remembering your room number? maybe his mind was foggy.
lol there is something to the story that we will never know. lol

this documentary is a good thing for q programing yes but think of the hands on publicity. anyone attending these events will know about it and ppl getting inteviewed will be excited and telling friends. if your going to be on tv and your cable company does not carry the channel so that you & your friends can watch ya think it might get a few calls to a few cable companies? its not the same watching a video or dvd of the program, misses something. and this thing is going nationwide or cross country.

Lesbian and Gay TV Network I had the opportunity to talk with Frank Olsen, CEO and President of Q Television Network, a new TV channel for gays and lesbians. Q Television will show programming for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans community. This television network was created to develop a network devoted to providing television programming for the gay and lesbian community. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming will be available on a subscription basis to those desiring its programming. The network will broadcast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week beginning in late 2004. Here's what Frank Olsen, president of Q Television had to say.
KB: Where did the idea of Q Television first come from?
I got the idea for Q Television from watching Trinity broadcasting. I saw how loyal the Christian viewers were and knew that the gay community would be just as loyal. If the Christians could have their own station, so could the gays.
What types of programming will you offer?
We will major in interactive programming with the gay community. We will also have sports, information and entertainment procured throughout the gay and lesbian community by our 70% gay production team.
Will all of your content be original, or will you be showing LGBT movies and other shows that have appeared in the theaters or on TV?
We will have approximately 25% original programming - the answer to the rest is "Yes."
What differentiates your network from the other queer stations in the works. (I have heard of one being put out by MTV.)
I don't know. I haven't seen anyone else's gay programming. I do know that ours will be predominantly gay owned and operated and we want to give back as much to the GLBT community as we get, through our programming, sponsorships, etc. We are not here just to take their money. We are here to support, inform, entertain, interact with and be an active part of the gay community.
When will you be on the air?
In a few days, I hope. We are correcting some technical difficulties right now.
How can people check out the programming on Q Television?
By mid-October we should be in 7 major markets across the USA and we expect 100,000 customers by December. We will offer 30 days free viewing in all broadcast areas. We hope to be in 55% of the country by mid-January. Remember that Q Television is a baby right now, just as MTV was 20 years ago, and we have to grow. We will be inclusive and make programming for the entire gay community as we grow. The $7.95 subscription fee is for two reasons: 1) to generate revenue for the cable/satellite companies and 2) because we want to be in people's homes at their invitation ONLY. We will be there because they WANT us to be there.

that would be nice and i hope you are right.
I hope Frank is buying up as much as he can at these prices. wouldn't it be nice to hear that because of the low price right not that the next pr will state that they bought back 5-10 % of the o/s that would be sweet. then we would move up the scale.
i know im only dreaming but the potential is great right now at this price for the buy back.
what date was that announced? i have to look back and check

CC on October 28th is 5 weeks after the announcement of the but back that would take place in the next 6 weeks. I can see a pr coming out at or around the CC time stating that the first buy back is done.
that would be great.
this is all speculation on my part im just looking at the timing of everything and trying to fill in the gaps.

That's what I was thinking. At these prices, if I was Frank, I would buy back twice what I said I would & then issue a PR stating the same. PPS would fly on that alone.

Who's stocks are they buying back? FRANKS!oct 28th will be too late at the rate it's dropping. A launch in the north east will help. How can THEY be proud to say that they are launched in SF when by now they were to be all over. By buying back common and PREFERRED stock it looks like they are getting to run.

I posted this reply before, but it bears repeating...
Q Television (QBID) is an expanding cable TV Network that's on-the-air in market #5 right now.
Things may take a little time to click with investors, but that's okay with me. I'm long and strong.

Just looking into any specifics I could find on the "VCI System" mentioned in Q's job ad, for hints about what they are up to. It does indeed appear to be something that can be used for advertisement fulfillment, tracking and billing. A few websites I found seem to support this, but I'm not experienced in this sort of thing so I'm still guessing. A web search of "VCI System" and "broadcasting" brings up several good leads. Here's one I found. http://www.invisioninc.com/news/news_nbcBravo.html
"VCI's STARS II+ is an open standards-based sales traffic solution that offers Broadcasters and Cable Networks the ability to manage multiple stations revenue effectively and efficiently. The STARS ll+ traffic system can handle electronic contracting, contract entry from the sales desk, full automation integration, and electronic invoicing. VCI delivers a full front to back paperless process with multi-station data merging and reporting."

This website only mentions the VCI System once toward the end, but may give an overall picture of the workflow system that Q may be currently developing with the posting of this job ad.
