The problem is just because a PR is put out doesn't mean everyone reads it. You pretty much have to know about QBID and be interested enough to read the PRs. How many other people are asking the same sort of question about their favorite stock? How many of us even know about it? SOMETHING has to bring it to the attention of the investment community. There needs to be a big enough event that mainstream news services pick up the story. Or an aggressive PR firm that can get the word out to the general public.

Anyone else catch this phrase?! Perhaps we're in for another PR to let us know which ones? Let's hope!

Olson and crew need to seriously consider a nationwide television campaign, especially since they will be broadcasting the gaylympics next next. I mean how else could they get the word out on the madnitude needed to get this to fly?

Typically it's not the best timing to have a PR one hour before the weekend, but what the he77, doesn't make a difference in this case...(being sarcastic)

Been thinking about this for a while now....
Once word about Q gets out to the general public what will the general oppinion from non-gay investors be? Will they look at this objectively as an investment to be considered, or, will they turn their back to it?

I'm sure the bigots will have a problem with it, but so what?

I'm sure it will run the full spectrum. Some won't care, they'll see money in the potential. Others would rather die poor than make a "gay nickel". Try as they might, I don't think they'll get this genie back in the bottle.

Sometimes the best advertising is free press from these hate groups! The people that will join the boycott would not have been consumers of the product anyway. So, they end up 'advertising' the product to those who may not have been aware of its existence... you know, those who WOULD be consumers. Boycott campaigns often backfire.

Somehow the word needs to be spread, massivly and nationwide. Once the average investor is onto this, positive PRs will have the desired positive effect we've been missing so far...

Great point! Free advertising = less expenses for Q = more $$$ for us!!! works for me.

Boycotts are usually great for business when they are motivated by nothing more than stupidity and hate. Look how well Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 did because of all the free publicity!
Free advertising... "BRING IT ON". LOL

Hello all. Been awhile sense my last post, just been lurking. To answer your question, I think it's because we still have Frank "I tanked the Q" Olsen running the show! Hello Farmboy, glad to hear you made it through everything O.K.

Just so you know penguinking, this is not a question. A question would generally begin with who, what, where, when, why, or how. Also, it would generally be followed by a question mark (?).
For example:
Why would you say, "I have a question," then not actually ask a question?
Or
Who's your daddy biat**?
Both of the above examples can be your starting point. Try to write a few sentences that ask questions! Good luck.

Hmmmm Turning their back to the Q could result in an interesting set of circumstances!
But seriously, if I, a below average investor in Podunk VA can recognise the economic power of the Gay community I would hope the average "straight" investor could as well. JMHO Pieman

Hey Bob_dog,... thanks! I came through pretty well, all things considered. My hometown up north didn't fair so well from Ivan... 100% of the business district was destroyed and about 8000 people lost their homes. It's just really sad.

My dear lady, that assumes that all of us here that invest in QBID are willy-nilly investing in pinkieland. A good investment is a good investment no matter where one happens to come upon it.

the buying power of the g/l community will not be that big a factor in q's pps. yes it will help in that $8 a month isn't much to many in the community and it will attract advertisers but being a premium channel advertisers will not be paying huge amounts for ad's. q needs those not making big bucks to subscribe in large numbers. todays news is the stuff that can bring in that $8 a month. personally i'd like to thank the mm's manipulation, it allowed me to get cash into my account and get another 320,000 shares today...lol now the s.o.b's can let go. just a thought and its a stretch but the mm's know the lower the o/s the more money to be made on a run up. the lower the pps the more frank can buy back. mm's buy at these prices too and they make money as it goes up also

Q Television would also serve as the agent for the redistribution of television and radio broadcast rights, allowing for access beyond Q Television’s cable footprint, especially in international markets. The media rights being sold would not prohibit standard news coverage.
The Gay Games have never had an opportunity like this and we are excited to be an integral part of the Q Television mission to create a network devoted to providing television programming for the LGBT community.”
Tracy Baim, Co-vice chair of Chicago Games Inc.’s board, says the deal is for a seven-figure cash consideration. It also includes an agreement to air shows promoting the games through their July 2006 launch.
Ms. Baim says Q Television will broadcast the games to at least 150 U.S markets, and possibly overseas. The 2002 games, held in Sydney, Australia, were not broadcast outside of the Sydney metropolitan area.
