I got a feeling we might witness history in the making. Like I have always said, there is no nework out there that is worth a penny. I am so glad someone stated earlier that Frank said 9 billion o/s is cheap for a network and if you think about it, that does make sense. Remember ya'll this is a network. Have a good weekend, WE GONNA GET THIS MONEY.

here is a very small basic cable station. they have been broadcasting since '98. as you can see the o/s is less then 75 million. q can do great because of being a pay to veiw staion as long as they get 500,000 subscribers which if they get the right carriers is easily possible but frank needs to drop the o/s a good deal. of course if frank owns 1/2 as he says and i'm sure other insiders own a great deal added to what us shareholders have the available shares could be a great deal less then the o/s even down into the millions. frank getting the company off the pinks and back to the OTC BB is a big key to getting a few rich ppl out of the stock.

A PACKAGE OF 5 MOVIES IS REALLY ELABORATION. ADDITIONALLY, A MAJOR AGREEMENT WITH WARNER BROTHERS IS ANOTHER ELABORATION. IT'S NOT A LIE LIKE FRANK OLSEN TELLS CONSTANTLY, BUT IT'S ELABORATING FAR GREATER THAN THE FACTS REPRESENT.
NOW LET'S ADD THE COMMENT ABOUT THE 5 GREATEST FILMS OF ALL TIME: OH BOY STEVE, DID YOU POST THIS YOURSELF OR DID FRANK COACH YOU ON IT. YOU HAVE 5 TITLES AND NO MORE THAN 5. OF THE 5 TITLES YOU HAVE GOTTEN, 2 WERE NEVER RELEASED AND THE OTHER 3 WERE FLOPS AND WE'RE PULLED QUICKLY OFF THE MARKET WHEN RELEASED. THAT IS WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR "GREATEST" FILMS OF ALL TIME.
THIS HAS GOT TO BE A DIRECT COACH FROM FRANK OLSEN: 47 PEOPLE BOARD A BUS TO DRIVE ACROSS AMERICA AND ARE STOPPING IN CITIES ALL OVER THE PLACE WITH THE Q-TV CAMERA'S ROLLING. THE SAME DIRECTOR THAT CUT YOUR PREVIOUS "I DO" DOCUMENTARY WHICH OBTAINED "OUTSTANDING CRITICAL REVIEW" WHICH IS A FLAT OUT LIE BECAUSE IT DID NOT.
HEY STEVE AND FRANK: YOU KNOW WHAT IS GREAT NEWS: WHEN THE FEDS COME GET YOU GUYS AND YOUR SITTING IN JAIL AND THEN OUT ON BOND FOR SECURITIES FRAUD, YOU'LL STILL HAVE PEOPLE ON MESSAGE BOARDS STICKING UP FOR YOU GUYS TELLING US ALL HOW IT'S JUST A SMALL PROBLEM THAT WILL BE RESOLVED, OR IT'S A MISTAKE, OR YOU GUYS ARE TELLING THE TRUTH OR EVEN BETTER YET, HOW THIS IS A REASONABLE DELAY FOR THE LAUNCH OF Q-TV.
Q Television Network Acquires Film Package from Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution
PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--08/31/2004--In a continuing move to provide the best in entertainment for its audience, Steven Grunberg, EVP Programming for the Q Television Network (OTC: QBID), announced today a major agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution to license motion pictures for the network.
Grunberg comments: "I am thrilled to announce that some of the greatest films of all time will be part of the Q lineup. These films are an eclectic collection of dramas, musicals, comedies and mini-series designed to delight our viewers."
Some of the great dramas to be seen on Q include "Butterfield 8" starring Elizabeth Taylor, and "Dog Day Afternoon" and "Cruising" both starring Al Pacino; the musicals "The Harvey Girls" with Judy Garland and "Sweeney Todd" with Angela Lansbury and the mini-series "A Century of Women" and "Sins" starring Joan Collins.
Grunberg added, "These titles, added to our mix of fresh gay and lesbian films, concerts and documentaries will form the backbone for our new original programming that will set us apart from all others."
On another note Grunberg added that "47 people boarded a chartered bus "caravan" traveling across the country, headed for Washington, DC, to participate in a groundbreaking event - a national rally for Same-Sex Marriage Equality, where more than 100,000 people are expected to attend". On the way, the caravan stops at a dozen cities and towns across the country, including:
-- Reno, Nevada
-- Laramie, Wyoming (including a visit with Judy Sheppard, Matthew's mother)
-- Denver, Colorado
-- St. Louis, Missouri
-- Indianapolis, Indiana
-- Cincinnati, Ohio
-- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
-- Washington, DC
Throughout this journey, riders participate in rallies, festivals and grass-roots events, and their lives are affected in ways completely unimaginable.
And all the while, the Q Television Network's cameras are rolling. Under the direction of documentary filmmaker Roland Joseph Torres (whose premiere Q Television collaboration, I WILL, I DO, WE DID played to outstanding critical review), AN AMERICAN QUEST promises to deliver an unparalleled first-hand experience in the pursuit of redefining marriage in the U.S.A

The man said, that rcn will have the signal at 11:58pm sept.4th. no delay on thier part. It is now up to RCN to rollout. I ask if their will be an update, he say yes! keep checking the website! that is the latest info.

i'm guessing rcn will do like comcast...it will be there but they won't tell anyone for a few days just to make sure everything works right. rcn doesn't want to sell it to customers and then have bugs to work out. i'm sure they get enough calls about broken stuff

I'm a believer! Wish RCN was available in my area. Like Bill said, they may need to get the bugs out first. For us now, under the radar is a necessity. If you were on the board Wednesday, you probably know what I mean.

He also said that there will be a press release on tuesday for additional carriers. There will be advertising on the network.
I also asked him about the 9 bil shares and the stock going to $1, bringing the value to $9 bil. He said that $9 bil is cheap for a network between all the revenues and expenses per month.

I'm reading "signal goes live", "signal goes live. . . During the May test signal, didn't it begin around 10:30 or 11:30 a.m.? However, 11:58 p.m. would be just before midnight a whole day for September 5 but still commencing on September 4, right?
Just read some other posts from your link--two repreating 12-hour broadcasts on Sept. 4. Everyone is right. Q sends the signal to RCN tomorrow. By this time tomorrow, we should have more answers.

Very probable outcome. Franks has a history of doing exactly this! It's the only way I don't see a buck a share for my core positon! .........................................................

Get it up and running and like his past endeavors sell-out to the highest bidder. He already has had offers and knows he has a great product. This buy-out in turn rewards him as this is his last venture and rewards the stockholders who have supported him.. The real question is (what is his buy-out price??) 50 cents is probable based on BET buy-out price. IMHO

1 Year PPS projection
20-30 Million Gays and Lesbians in the US (that are out of the closet...this is a very conservative stat)
3% ROI (marketing effort)= 900,000 subscribers by year 1
900,000 x $9.95 = $8,955,000 x 50% (industry standard...cable companies cut) = $4,477,500/mo or $53,730,000/year
Advertisment/Founding Sponsor program...20 spots at $250,000 per advertiser or $5,000,000/year
Industry average is $2,500.00 per commercial x 8-10 commercials per hour or $20,000 per hour x 8760 hours per year (24/7 programming) = $175,200,000/year
Total Revenue
$53,730,000 (subscription per year based on 900K subscribers by year 1) $5,000,000 (Founding Sponsor program based on 20 spots) $175,200,000 (Commercials based on Industry standards of $2500 per commercial/8-10 per hour...24/7 programming)
Total Revenue by year 1
$233,930,000/year
Expenses (assuming 40%)
$93,572,000
Net Operating Income
$140,358,000
Per-share earnings
$140,358,000 / 4.5 Billion (assuming 9 Billion OS...after buyback of 50%) = .0311 earnings per share
assuming a very conservative (S&P) PE ratio of 18 and 20...
P/E of 18 = .56 pps P/E of 20 = .62 pps
However...QBID is a very speculative stock...and could possibly have a P/E ratio of 30, 40 or 50...
P/E of 30 = .93 pps (our pick by year 1) P/E of 40 = $1.24 pps P/E of 50 = $1.55 pps
We agreed that a PE ratio of 30 was very conservative for such a speculative stock...if QBID's soft launch goes off without a hitch...and they PR a major advertiser within one week of the soft launch...our views of QBID being a short term hold will change...we would consider holding a position long term (1-3 years)
.93 x 4.5 Billion = $4.185 Billion Market cap...
At this stage of the game the market cap is the value that the world of stock market investors has placed on the company (at least for today) Much of this perceived value is due to the expectations of a company's future prospects. Market cap is not dictated by how "big" a company is.
Here are some related links on advertising and calculating PE ratios... ----------------------------------------------------------
