The News today made history for QBID. They announced their first carrier (RCN #11) of the top 25. RCN is in alot of major cities where the G & L population is high. THIS WAS AND GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR QBID.
Secondly, the MM's are so used taking us down of PR's, I think today they weren't sure what to do. One thing I do know is that NITE was buying most of the Day and not selling. I watched the tape to around 1 pm today very closely. There are several MM's that are short shares here NITE IS THE BIGGEST and put us at this artificial PP we have been trading in for weeks now so they can attempt to short and cover.
Thirdly, the buys outnumbered the sells today better than 2 to 1 and we only go up a few hundreths ticks. THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. THE MM'S HAVE TOTALLY MANIPULTED THE PPS TO THEIR ADVANTAGE. THE PUMPERS AND BASHERS HAVE NO CONTROL HERE OF THE PPS. THE MM'S CONTROL IT AND WHEN THEY SAY GO, WE GO, NOT A MOMENT SOONER.
LASTLY, THE WAS THE FIRST PR OUT OF 7 THAT WE WENT UP AFTER AND NOT DOWN. TOTALLY TREND REVERSAL HERE. WE SHOULD HAVE CLOSED OVER A PENNY TODAY, WE WILL MAYBE TOMORROW.
Have faith here, I have done alot of DD, more carriers have signed on, and announcements pending. ALso advertising and sponsorships announcements coming to.
At .0068 this PPS is the most artificial PPS you will ever see for a company that has accomplished this so far.

At least one of the big cable companies is reorganizing--new people=new direction. There is much pressure on all cable complanies for more choice (a la carte) for the subscriber. Q is at the right place and at the right time--and for me at the right price until I can afford more. Good things rarely come easily--I can wait.

[ Almost forgot, I called the 212 Manhattan number for Mr. Seger at 9:30. It was busy. Perhaps they are working late, or it could be busy circuits. The last time that I was in Manhattan, I had much trouble trying to use my cell phone. Other locations--no problem.

Rock and Roll, BigTip. Actually, even while I was muttering today at my job I realized it was also the first time I had the confidence to recommend Q to people who I knew dabbled in stocks. Most people I know are in SIRI and other stocks waiting for them to somehow take off, which for those average-priced equities are not going to let these people make bank because, at the level they are investing at, they will see a momentary winfall at best. Not willing to risk big to win big, these workaday Joe's (like me) for the most part. They're looking forward to the Google IPO so they can watch it open near actual value and stay there, and wonder why they're not rich from owning the "right" stock everyone's talking about...but I think I saw a couple of eyes light up when I said "First to market 24/7 Gay/Lesbian Network, and they've signed a carrier today."
"How much are they trading at?" someone asked me. "They went up 30% at one point today. It's not the price, it's the potential for the crazy percentage rise that you make your money on..." "Yes, Bialy, but how much are the shares??" "About .007" "Seventy-cents for a TV Network?" "No!! .007 !!! Point oh-oh-seven!! I got a few stink-eye looks, but also a few lightbulbs went off. Just called RCN very professional and the man said Q will aire on September 1st in probably a bundle format at 995 per month. They have not been trained yet but they will in the next few weeks. He said they have had many calls and they will call any sub back in the next few days. This is solid meat proof positive revenue.

Lots of good info tonight. Even I, an investing novice, noticed there were way too many buys going through and not enough sells to warrant the current pps. Major manipulation. Tomorrow should be interesting.
Can't wait for more announcements, which sound like they will be coming soon enough.

Remember people - QBID was .04 in 2001 right before they launched the soft launch. And as high as .30 (I think) in 1999. BEFORE THEY HAD ANYTHING and before Gay rights was even an issue.

And one more from me tonight. I was trying to find where RCN covered in my area. They aren't here in Oakland, CA, so I dug deeper:
"RCN in San Francisco serves South San Francisco, Daly City, San Mateo, Redwood City, Burlingame and the San Francisco communities of Noe Valley, Castro, Diamond Heights, Potrero Hill, the Mission District."
I'm no City expert but I know some of the South Bay areas like Redwood City are pretty well to do. Homes there go many many millions. Private police forces for tiny communities. Pro football players homes. Big money. They got the dough. (And the Castro in SF, well...that's a good demographic for us. I'll leave it at that, LOL) You couldn't have invented a better carriage spread for our first stage if you were making it all up as you went. Frank and company have done their homework.

Broadcasting National TV Networks do not trade for less than a dollar a share. Most trade above $10!

Well the geco is back. That's right! Back and in full effect with more shares than ever. Today will mark a historic day in QBID's history. QBID today proved that they are moving ahead with their plans of actually launching in the near future. The pr showing a carriage agreement had all the significance in the world - it proves that QBID now has a way to make money basically. And proved that they are capable of landing carriage deals. And any company that plans to increase it's shareolder value must do this. It's not a new concept and I'm sure we're all aware of this. I think we we'll hear about more deals in the coming weeks as other companies realize that they need to join the wave of momentum beofre they get left behind. Either way our speculative power has just increased infinitely as the rumors of news or contracts or a sudden spike in price could now send us soaring as investor confidence has been renewed. Not only should we attract more serious investors now, but the average hold time should increase. Meaning people who go long at these levels will be less inclined to sell from here til Sept. These are all steps in the right direction. When the average trader begins to hold shares rather than flip that's what causes runs like what we saw a few months back to .03 etc. I call it the ratchet effect. The stock breaks from a consolidation phase climbs then retraces a little, consolidates, then continues up on the next leg. I beleive we'll start seeing that kind of trading here soon.
TA: We ran up and rested nicely on the 5dma today if we can hold it tomorrow the next move up needs to get us over the 21dma. After we break the 21dma our next barrier is the one that we'll free us to really see blue skies. The old upper trendline of our downtrending channel. If we can finally break that trendline we'll be off to the races. I won't be suprised if we start slowly creeping toward that line over the next several days or weeks as ppl are going to start accumulating this for the run heading into Sept. if they are smart. Even if we selloff say tomorrow it appears that a strong base is forming at .005 level, so if it goes down to that level I would advise that you add more. Take a look at the chart posted below to follow along with my comments above. Now... since they service the general public where they operate, it would be considered a no no if they went out of business and all of a sudden the plug were pulled and all those customers in all those cities they serviced were to go poof on their tv tubes....
In other words, before that time should ever get so close as they would have to shut down, some other carrier would buy out the customer list and switch them over to another service provider to ensure continuous service in those areas.
What it really boils down to is this... Q Tv has solidified a contract with a carrier. They had to put up an assurance of funding for 5 years... they probably got a very good deal with RCN because of their current situation. Its like, you help us, we help you.
The nice thing about Q Tv getting in at this time with RCN is like having an insurance policy that will ensure continuous broadcasting no matter what happens to RCN. As, if they really were to go BK and not be able to reorg, someone would pick up all the stations and customers and service them with no skip in the beat.
So, imo the bashers that are screaming that RCN is going BK and whatever, purely doesn't make any sense at all. As it will never apply to Q Tv and its success. And since they have contracted, they are grandfathered in. Am sure the FCC will also be watching and are aware of these situations.
What other carrier wouldn't want another million subscribers to their balance sheet???

i swear to God, i am sitting in my bed watching HBO and then boom ,, qtelevision commercial came on HBO, it ended wih call your cable carrier to subcribe for 4.95.. guys i was shocked and immdieatly got on to tell everyone.. we are here QBID has arrived.. this is no lie guys for real,i saw it with my own 2 eyes.. GO qbid.
