While I am not an attorney my brother is a stockbroker ... he stated that if she were to receive information that was not public knowledge and acted upon it (posting it here or buying more shares) it could be viewed in the negative.
That's why I posted in the previous thread as to what exactly was the point of the visit. Is it to get information that we do not know and to post it? If so I personally think that will land someone in trouble ...

ok, I think I feel better. I have known Diana long enough to know she isn't out there getting that kind of info that would not only jeopardize us, but Frank too. I have thought this all out (got my nails bitten down to a nub) and we all know she is one very smart lady. I will be talking with her tonight. I NEED A SECURITY HUG!!

I see what you're saying, but I think it'll happen differently. I think that since LOGO is catching all of the publicity right now, it's also catching the heat. The main difference will be that QTV is by subscription only and LOGO is trying to be part of basic programming. QTV has little to no chance of small children or uninterested adults accidentally tuning in. That really takes the wind out of the protesting sails. I think that will be a big advantage. Also, many people keep hearing about a gay network coming out (pun just for Booty!) - albeit LOGO, but they'll not remember the name.. and when QTV airs, they'll think that's the one that they've heard all the hype about. Either way I think it's a good thing for Q... now, when LOGO launches, Q had better have their sh\t together and be above par, or LOGO will try to eat them alive... Q will have a 7 month head start on programming and on signing up a subscriber base. Even when LOGO airs, I just see people watching both - like HBO and SHO. Of course, these are just my opinions and I have been wrong before.... and pi$$ing a few people off lately...
Hope this helps ease your mind a bit about the threat of LOGO...
One the other note... .i think we'll have a rollercoaster month during the soft launch... at least until some definites are announced, but I wouldn't expect them early in the month...

I wish I had been on here to wish her luck, but you all did a great job with that and question suggestions.
I wouldn't worry too much about insider info... i'm sure that Frank isn't going to divulge anything to Diana that wouldn't be available to any other investor if asked. I think that Diana will be back with terrific news about the operation though. We'll just have to wait and see...

I'm sure this has been covered, but because Q is going to be a subscription service why are we thinking or waiting for advertisers to be announced? Isn't that the basic idea behind a subscription service, no commercials? Thoughts Queers! Bob the superstar orange dog

I thought the same thing ... and I was told that it's quite common for this format on the satellite providers.... although, I think that the subscription part is purely to deflect the protests... at $3.95/month, I could deal with a few advertisers... besides, the gay community likes to see who is supportive of them. there's a benefit to both sides - advertisers get sales and g/l population develops brand loyalty.

I hear the word subscription being used. Seems to me that the last discription for Q was preimum. At least I think that was the word nexted to it on that vote thing at Planet Out.
Subscription being something you pay extra for just to get Q.
Preimum being you pay for more than basic cable and Q would be part of that package.

I see a possible breakout in the next week or two. Be patient. Check out the charts the past 5 weeks there have been a bunch of selling but it appears that the selling is slowly coming to an end and buying will resume sending the pps up up and away. This is only my opinion. I would love to here your thoughts on this. Just check out the charts.

Like I said last Friday. Tuesday we will open high and then close lower. I think we will have an up day today but dont expect much, maybe 5% to .0141. Thats not to say that during the day we could go to .0150 or .0120! Lets hope I'm right.

Ok. It's natural to wonder about things when prices drop and its natural to not give a crap when prices go up because your happy. Misery loves company so we're always looking for comfort when PPS drops. Now I need to ask someone or anyone, : What are the ingredients of a company who is out to scam some money though the stock market? Do you really thing the Q would do it while everyone else is being caught? Do you think the Q would still be around with the same symbol after all these years? I'm not knowledgeable about TV/electronic gadgets. My hubby handles all that.
We do not have a satellite dish / service.
My Question is, Let's say as a shareholder I want to order QTV. Can I call my cable company right now and ask to subscribe to QTV, pay for that program (or package)... but then never actually buy the satellite dish/service? Does the cable company care, or even know, if I have a satellite dish to watch the program I am paying for?

You don't use a satellite dish if you are getting your programming through cable. Now, if you're asking if you call a satellite provider I'm not sure they would care. They might wonder about your sanity though.
