I agree, but it's what I'd call OVERREACTION!. I'm just irked that he constantly jumps on other people's heads when they express a concern, but then he goes f()ckin' loco?! Robin, am I right?! So, nobody else can express a concern, but he can have a tantrum and practically insight a riot... just a bit hypocritical, that's all...

This is pretty weak. Lots of people who obviously weren't around for the first 500 pages of QBID threads trying to post misinformation about the launch dates. There are PRs that made it VERY CLEAR that the launch date was initially May 1, then another released on April 1 that said the soft launch date was May 15. Not signal testing in preparation for the soft launch, but the soft launch itself. Sounds like they're trying to squirm out of this one... "uhhh yeah did we say soft launch? what we *meant* to say was that the signal testing in preparation for the soft launch is on May 15......." Go back and read the PRs folks. This is clearly a delay of their initial intentions. Delay #2 in fact.

140 million, 40 minutes after the bell. This stocks volume is incredibly high today. Normally that would mean a large increase or decrease....we saw the intial decrease, then an increase, and now about even.
Today is totally up in the air....
Lets hope for a nice PR.

SUBWAY ( I know people hate it) just put QBID on the watchlist...the thing I noticed most was they said "on 350 million shares"...that's gotta be a mistake?

I agree...and people grumbled over the first delay from the 1st to the 15th too... I'd certainly understand more grumbling over the 15th to June 1st. Let's face it, it's certainly gotten my eyebrows raised. But I'm not ready to jump ship or throw a fit, I just want to see more info and have some questions answered. Could this be Deveney's doing? sure! Could this be an innocent delay? sure! Could this be a fraud attempt? sure! (but I think unlikely)... time will tell, and I'm still WAY green on this one...

RobinO yeah it is a delay. as for may first I don't remember that one. May 15 I know of. A delay just the same. But think about it this way... if you just finished the national show, and want to schedule a soft launch would you do it before you had signed any deals you know you would get before the soft launch airs? I would have done the same thing, if what I am saying has any truth to it. They must have made some impressions on other companies. Maybe they are really just getting everything all lined up. Also, it could be that they are trying to save some money by changing the soft launch date. If they could do that it would give them more time for investors to sign up, advertisers to seek them out... and get everything else in order. You can't rush something like this. This launch soft and hard alike need to be flawless. I just hope this is the last of the delays!

I also still have a long way to go in being able to sit out PR's that really don't mean anything for the long term of the company. I have a lot of repsect for anyone right now who did not sell one single share. I was ready to sell off around 300k of mine looking to increase my share count. GREED. I guess it is not always a good thing. I think I will just sit back and watch, learn a few more things etc... I would also like to thank all of you for all of your posts. I really appreciate the converstaions we all have on this board. I have learned a lot and hope to learn a lot more from all of you ... I also hope to make a lot of money with all of you in the days, weeks, months, years and different stocks that will be entering all of our radars in the furure! thanx!
I am still learning too and i figure if you think you know everything you will never learn anything new.
U$ I don't know why you bash QBID but I forgive you...I still like your input and wish u would come back. But you need one thing be firm in your beliefs and please no one changes their mind that fast.. Hey you have your opinions we all do. No one knows what is gonna happen...you could be right or you could be wrong.
Life is too short people..U4 was and still should be a valuable member of this board.
I can guarantee many on this board claiming they did'nt sell already got rid of their shares. Me like I said from the beginning I am in this. DO or die for me.

If you are ever in Myrtle Beach, SC visit the Alabama Theater. Thy have a comedian there named Grant Turner (stage name,Rickey Mokel). He has this saying that is both funny and true, "If you think you know, you don't know. If you know you don't know, then you know."

I hate it when they enter one of those trades like the 0.121. It messes up my real time chart for the rest of the day. The range is so high now, it looks like a flat line with a big spike.
I wonder if someone actually got that price, 0.121 on that 100,000s trade?

Don't look for any press releases today.... I emailed Kendra at Deveney. Here is the email and response from today: ********************************** Sent: Tuesday, May 11, 2004 9:46 AM To: Kendra Van Nostran Subject: PR question re: Q Television
Dear Kendra,
Thank you for your speedy response to my question yesterday. I am sure you were bombarded with emails and phone calls regarding the soft launch date. I do have one follow up question for you. We were originally told by Q Television, via their Investor Hotline, that Deveney Communications would be issuing a press release on Tuesday, May 11. Will there still be a press release today or did the release go out yesterday instead?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks again for your assistance.
Mike XXXXXX QBID Shareholder

response: ******************************* Mike,
It was the release that went out yesterday.
Thanks, Kendra *******************************
Oh well, guess I'll go finish that kitchen remodel and stop looking for a release today...

WTF?!? I have just read the mess of U4's posts. Wow, I thought he was one of the good one's but what a little bitch, pardon my Kurdish. Why on earth would you sell like that, four days before the test launch, which has been confirmed by the hotline?!?!?
To each their own... I am still holding long and strong. U4 proved he was a weak hand, that's it. Our stock is still what it is: a Television network that is about to launch.

BOSTON - Officials in Cape Cod's gay tourism mecca of Provincetown voted to offer marriage licenses to out-of-state same-sex couples, potentially setting the stage for another legal battle over gay marriage.
AFP Slideshow: Same-Sex Marriage Issues
Thumbing their nose at Republican Gov. Mitt Romney's stance, the town's selectmen unanimously decided Monday to issue marriage certificates to all couples as long as they attest that they know of no legal impediment to their union.
Romney immediately issued a statement Monday threatening legal action against city and town clerks statewide who defy his interpretation of the law.
Romney's office has warned clerks that they will be required to seek proof of residency or the intention to move to Massachusetts from all couples — gay and straight — who are seeking to marry as of Monday, when same-sex weddings become legal.
"We are a nation of laws," Romney said in the statement. "If they choose to break the law, we will take appropriate enforcement action, refuse to recognize those marriages, and inform the parties that the marriage is null and void."
Provincetown town clerk Doug Johnstone did not return a call for comment early Tuesday, but in the past he has resisted Romney's instructions to obtain proof of residency from couples before issuing marriage licenses.
Romney based his decision on a 1913 Massachusetts law that says couples cannot be married here if such a marriage would be void in the state in which they live. And no other state currently recognizes gay marriages.
But the Provincetown Board of Selectmen said gay couples who live outside Massachusetts and have no intention of moving here will still be issued marriage licenses, as long as they attest that they know of no legal impediment to their union.
Huge crowds are expected in Provincetown on Monday, the day that the decision by the Supreme Judicial Court, the state's highest court, takes effect that legalizes gay marriage in Massachusetts. For months, business owners and hoteliers in the gay-friendly seaside town at the tip of Cape Cod have been preparing for an anticipated summer rush of gay weddings.
Romney's office has said the consequences of an illegal marriage could be severe for the couple, particularly if they have children, because of legal questions of support and custody.
There also could be legal consequences for the clerks. Under state law, officials who issue a license "knowing that parties are prohibited" can face a fine of $100 to $500 or a prison sentence of up to a year.
Attorney Mary Bonauto, who represented several gay couples whose case led to the court decision legalizing gay weddings, said Romney's interpretation of state law should bar marriage to gay couples only from those states that have laws on their books that declare gay marriages "null and void." She estimates that only about 20 states have that type of law.
"It's because of his personal beliefs that he is applying the law to all 49 (other states)...," Bonauto said. "I find it sad that the Massachusetts governor would penalize a town for recognizing that Massachusetts has no business denying marriage licenses to same-sex couples whether they are Massachusetts residents or not."
The Legislature has given preliminary approval to a constitutional ban on gay marriage, but it must still receive an additional round of approval from lawmakers during the 2005-2006 session and then by voters in November 2006. The constitutional amendment would simultaneously legalize civil unions. http://www.provincetowngov.org
