Ok. Just called the "general Information" line. (Yes, I am one of those annoying guys that keep bothering them). The same lady on the automated machine answered. Sounded very busy but when asked to confirm the soft launch..She stummbled a bit and then said "it will be May 15th or shortly there after" I made a comment about convention and if they are excited, she said "Oh yes, we are" Then when asked about the website - She said "Its being worked on and we should be having a marriage documentary on the site and things will get better, and better with the website" She added that " we all must understand that the website is being developed so everyone must be patient" She rushed me off as she had other calls to answer.
Normally I'm all over the board cash... just this week I've been away from the computer. I get in on the computer 5 mins here and there, but work has been over taking my life.
RIght now, I'm standing in on a pilot... and I don't know how many of you work out here in la la land, but when you are on set your time is not your own lol. Not to mention the office job... which is normally where I can catch up on the posts. But if it's too crazy at the office then I can't even do that.
AH well...
Have fun in N.O. cash... try and not colect too many beads. ; )

another newbie here. I was curious, I know that the infinite wisdom available on this thread makes it by far the most valueable board around, but do any of you know of any other boards that are reputable and speak about qbid??????

Cash, good to hear you are getting more. I have no more money to invest however I spoke with different family members and other loved ones and over seven different people invested, with amounts ranging from $450 to over $2k My girl friend and her father also jumped on board, picking up 45k for my g.f and 25k for her father... A cousin also signed up with Scottrade as well as my mother and sisters! Go QBID!

for what it's worth....i got in a discussion today with a group of my customers about the stock market and of course i led them right into qbid, none of them had heard of it, they all are going to check into, but one or two voice there concern about how viable the company is? do they have a real product? etc. the usual bs you would expect to hear, so i told them about the national show, and they all agreed that if the company showed something promising in the way of programming they would sit up and pay attention. Of course i told them they will probably be too late, but i wonder how many investors will take notice of this stock after the show and be happy to buy in at 5 or 6 or even 10 cents a share and be happy about it, Cash you are the man here, hate to put you on the spot but your trip to this show could be the start of this thing blowing the lid off.....in the immortal words of u4....the sky is the limit

i konw u4, i tried, but they are fortune 500 company types, give their money to an investor and hope and pray for a solid 10% return on the money some day, if they don't die first......i think one or two of them will buy in....i know i have everyone in two or three offices i deal with bought in...

I sent an email to the author of the article that is causeing some confusion about soft launch. She confirmed the test signal, but not the date. She mentioned the competition her! tv, PrideVision TV and a Canadian outfit trying to get into american market and the MTV networks venture in the works.

CouchP pride vision is a little different from qtelevision from what i have read. They are not a *family* values channel as our little qbid plans on being....

really low volume today, compared to last week. I would like to see some pr come out... but that is just because I am not a very patient person. But at the same time, we are probably better off without any pr until just before or after the show...
