if i understand this, it is a method of downloading a a movie, paying a fee to use it, eliminating postage and delivery/return. they did mention rental in the info on the link if i remember right. i'll check again. like with copying music illegally, i think we will see the need for more internet related legal downloads. i know many people like to collect movies. i seldom watch a movie more than once. but being in a foriegn location the concept of having dvd's available on the internet is very interesting to me.
this link was just another angle on marketing music, video and games. rental, sale or theft, it is a huge arena and it is good to identify all players.

I don't know. I pinged the IP addresses for veegeez and gamesnflix and I got responses. However, when I pinged gameznflix I got request timed out.
Do an nslookup on www.gameznflix.com and tell me what you see. You might need to do a dnsflush to remap the IP.

phantom, this is from the link.
Currently, once consumers have downloaded the title from the Internet, they are redirected back to NuTech's web site, where they register and choose among different options, such as a 1-, 3- or 5-day rental or a purchase of the title. Once consumers register on www.nutechdvd.com, they can purchase new titles or renew the rental period without having to re-register. The Company's DRM technology prevents copying of the title.
it's something a prudent investor neede to know. this is a highly competetive world.

Nope, nothing yet. I'll ask Equitilink (IR) to see what's happening since they are sending it out.

If you had to browse through the 15,000 available DVD titles from Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) to sum up its first two publicly traded years, would you go with It's a Wonderful Life or Some Like It Hot? It's hard to argue with the company's success. It is a thriving online renter of films with profitability and 1.5 million loyal customers.
While margins dipped as the company beefed up its content library and acquisition costs inched higher as it launched televised ad campaigns, the quarter was encouraging. Top-line growth accelerated in the fourth quarter relative to the year as a whole. Monthly subscriber churn fell. In other words, despite the emergence of competitors such as Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) and Blockbuster (NYSE: BBI), more people are sticking with Netflix.
Reed Hastings, Netflix founder & CEO, is interviewed in Red Herring
Reed on what's next for Netflix:
"Hastings: We’re still a small fry. This year, we will do about $300 million in business. That’s not bad by Silicon Valley standards, but will only represent about 3 percent of the domestic video rental market. We’re just scratching the surface. We’re focused on how to get from 1.5 million customers to 5 million – then 10 million. One day, we’ll get into downloading movies. Online delivery. Somewhere between 2007 and 2009, we hope to hit $1 billion in revenue. We’ve got a monster huge market ahead of us."

Nice find as usual.
That article is like saying, so if you are planning on getting into this, now is the time. This market is really untapped as it stands today. You do not even have to be the leader, the company will still make financial gains. -

Hey guys, I just talked to IR about the notification letter to shareholders of record. You will only receive the letter if you're considered an insider or you held restricted stocks before Oct 31st 2003.
Since most of you bought the PPM after that date, you will not receive the letter. Also when you buy the common free trading stock, you are not qualified as shareholder of record (insider) unless you bought more than 5% (please double check number) of the O/S.
