What website can I go to, to view the buys and sells of a stock? With scottrade I can stream the time&sales which shows what I want but it doesnt indicate whether the transaction was a buy or sell, just the time, shares and price exchanged

They are all sells on Scottrade. The colors indicate whether it is at the ask, bid, above or below (bid, ask). Check your FAQ's in scottrade and it will tell you all of this. Posts: 8024 | From: Joisey....see attitude above | Registered: Jan 2004

When I made a purchase today I was watching the T&S. It showed my purchase, the share amount and the price I paid. Because of this I do not think it is simply all sales, instead of buys

id4rox: I assume that you are talking about FREE Real-Time Streaming Quotes and Charts! http://www.scottrader.com and that you are signed up! After you've entered your symbols and are watching them you should notice a plus or a minus on one side. Well a plus is a buy and a minus is a sell. I hope this helps. Take Care! DD
PS If I remember right, each trade is also in colored green and red. Green for buy, red for sell. I've been back on days so my real swing trading days are over. By the time I get home the actions almost done. So I have not been using it much since I got off the night shift.

What do the colors mean on Time & Sales? Green = trade occurred on the Ask, Red = trade occurred on the Bid, Cyan = trade did not occur on the Bid or Ask, Yellow = trade broke either high or low for the day.

I've heard good things about freerealtime.com. A quick "news out" site is invaluable. Here is a link that I posted once before but some may have missed. http://www.otclinks.com

For Sells only.
Sorry I couldn't help out more.
My goodness, I really need sleep.
These are all for buys. I keep writing sells. I mean sales (buys). Sorry for the confusion.
