Cetek Shareholders` Report for the Fourth Quarter 2003
January 30, 2004 10:09:00 (ET)
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y., Jan 30, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Cetek Technologies Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: CTKH) reports that the fourth quarter of 2003 was the first profitable quarter in over four years. Revenues for the year 2003 were 185% higher than the year 2002.
Importantly, Cetek made a significant advancement during this past quarter, to become established in the nanotechnology field. The Bush administration has signed a $4 billion appropriation for nanotechnology. This is an exciting, innovative technology with far-reaching potential applications. Nanotechnology is considered to be the basis for the next industrial growth. Cetek is well positioned in this field, and continued development and progress in this area should be fast and aggressive, both for the company and the industry.
Larger sintering furnaces, in the ceramic area, will come on line the first quarter of 2004, hence increasing available capacity by threefold. Having this increased capacity will have a favorable impact on the response time to customers. So far, Cetek has been able to maintain all shipments on schedule.
Cetek's primary customer from England, for whom we are building special furnaces, has issued Cetek Technologies more orders for these large furnaces. This product has generated strong demand in the United States and overseas. Substantial sales for this product line are expected throughout 2004 and into 2005.
Also, Cetek Technologies is proud to announce it has initiated its stock buyback program for the benefit of the shareholders. No information will be disclosed until it is completed, and no specific time limit has been set.
Cetek Technologies Inc.'s CEO, Fayiz Hilal, stated, "I am pleased with the quarterly results and very optimistic about Cetek's business landscape and I think it will be another rewarding and profitable year. I thank all shareholders for their continuous support. We will endeavor to keep shareholders informed of our efforts in developing Cetek into a significant player in this industry. We believe these recent events will lead to increased shareholder value."

we really need some decent PR from Cetek before we expect to go anywhere. They are just getting too shady for me.

Guilty of micro analyzing this stock but want to encourage those interested.
Yesterday we had the first divergence of the CMF. Price closed at a new low but indicator went up. Also ADX has peaked and is moving down indicating a possible weakening of the down trend. These are minor moves but good ones. Williams %R is also now at 80, nearing oversold. To play safe you might want to wait for a confirmation of the change as CMF moves up over 0. Watch for volume, I believe there could be an exposive move with climatic volume. Be ready. This is only my opinion and I am ready to get back in.

ACCUMULATE. I sure am...and I would think CTKH has probably been also(via share buyback). I hope it stays low for a little while so more shares can be bought back...along with me being able to get more also.
When more good news comes...the longer it has stayed cheap now, the higher it will go then.

p.s. For newbies...the reason it will go higher then, if it stays low for a little while now - is because there will be fewer shares available(share buyback).

MARKET NEWS AFFECTING THE MARKETS RIGHT NOW....
Job Growth in January Disappoints 1 hour, 1 minute ago Add Business - Reuters to My Yahoo!
By Anna Willard
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. economy created just 112,000 new jobs in January, far fewer than expected, government data showed on Friday in a disappointing report that will likely weigh on President Bush (news - web sites)'s re-election campaign.
delayed 20 mins - disclaimer Quote Data provided by Reuters
The fifth straight monthly gain in payrolls outside farming followed a revised increase of 16,000 new jobs in December, the Labor Department (news - web sites) said.
The unemployment rate ticked down to 5.6 percent, the lowest since January 2002, from 5.7 percent the previous month -- but those numbers are taken from a separate, smaller, survey.
Analysts had been expecting the improving economy to create 150,000 new jobs in January. They were looking for the unemployment rate to hold steady at 5.7 percent.
"The payrolls number was well below market expectations and confirms the jobs market in the U.S. is weak," said Daniel Tenengauzer, vice president for foreign exchange at Lehman Brothers.
The dollar and stock futures fell after the report and Treasury bond prices rose.
Financial markets hopes for a healthy report were boosted on Thursday when Federal Reserve (news - web sites) Governor Ben Bernanke said he was "pretty confident" there would be an improvement in employment in the near future.
A revival in the jobs market is seen as crucial for a sustained economic recovery. The Federal Reserve is expected to keep interest rates on hold until signs of this emerge.
"These numbers will not change the Fed's thinking," said Rick Egelton, deputy chief economist, BMO Financial Group.
"The Fed is on hold for the time being."
JOB ISSUE LOOMS IN ELECTION
The weak labor market is expected to be a major issue between candidates in the presidential race. Bush's opponents say his economic policies have helped the wealthy and done little to create new jobs.
Many of the new jobs in January came from a 76,000 increase in the retail sector.
The Labor Department said that because some retailers took on fewer employees than expected in November and December, they did not shed as many after the holiday season, according to the seasonal adjustment factors in the report.
The troubled manufacturing sector cut jobs for the 42nd month in a row, despite some signs of a revival in factories seen in other economic data.
The report included annual benchmark revisions but these did not lead to a major change in the overall picture of a weak jobs market.
The Labor Department also defended the accuracy of the employment count based on its survey of payrolls, disputing criticism the poll fails to capture jobs created by new businesses.
One bright spot in the report was a 24,000 increase in construction jobs. Low mortgage rates have helped to fuel a housing boom.
In another encouraging sign for job seekers, hours of work rose to 33.7 from 33.5 in December. Employers often increase the work of existing employees when they are considering taking on new hires.
Average hourly earning also rose to $15.49 from $15.47 the previous month.

Looking for some help..I'm am new at penny stocks and was wondering if you trade these more as quick turns or do you see a long hold on them? Where can I view historical prices that show more than 2 digits? Is now a good time to jump in and how high do you think it will go?
Well, this stock can be short term or long term...but if you really want to see the gold, I would just buy and hold for the long term. You can buy penny stocks and sell short term if you by LOTS of shares to make up for the amount spent and the profit. What I generally do is this. I will pick a stock, buy several thousand shares, and then choose a target price. So, like for CTKH, I would set a target between 0.75 and 1.00 for myself. You can choose lower or higher targets, it's all up to you. And hopefully it will rise to that target and then sell. For CTKH, I would hold because hopefully it will rise to the .75 or 1.00 target. Hope this helps.
