NORTH STAR IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE DRILL RESULTS HAVE PROVEN POSITIVE.
BELLINGHAM, WA, February 17,2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- North Star Diamonds, Inc. (NQB Pink Sheets: NSDM) North Star Diamonds is pleased to announce that the drill results have proven positive.
A lamprophyre, believed to be the first in Manitoba has been discovered on the Shire 1 target. Lamprophyres are of the same geological formation as Kimberlite and Lamproites. Other diamondiferous lamprophyres have been discovered in other parts of Canada, mainly in the North West Territories and in the Wawa area of Ontario, which is also on the Superior Craton.
Further work will be done on the Shire 1 target with regard to geophysical work and further exploratory drilling. Further staking of land has been done to secure the area. Other geological anomalies in the area will be drilled as part of North Stars ongoing exploratory program.
Merry, Gimli, and Bree were found to be of no interest in diamond exploration. However; they are being tested for rare earth metals. Results will be announced as received.
Further information will be posted on our website to keep you informed as to our progress on finding diamonds in Manitoba.
North Star was also informed that the MEAP program (Mineral Exploration Assistance Program) has been approved. Under this program, up to 25% of expenditure will be reimbursed to North Star for exploration work done in Manitoba.
North Star Diamonds, Inc. is committed to a long-range plan for diamond exploration and feels that with the Superior Craton Project and the assets in Ukraine, North Star is focused on establishing the Company as a true world explorer in search for diamonds.

WELL THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT AS SIGNIFICANT AS MOST OF US WOULD LIKE TO BELIEVE IT IS.
GOOD NEWS; ABSOLUTELY.
BUT IT IS ONLY A CONTINUATION OF PREVIOUS P. RELEASES. I AM NOT DOWNPLAYING THIS IN ANY WAY BUT AGAIN, IF YOU READ THE PREVIOUS PR, COULD WE NOT HAVE THIS OUTCOME? DID ANY OF US WHO ARE THE "LONGS" REALLY NEED THIS INFO RELEASED TODAY; I FOR ONE, NO.
I THINK WHEN ALL THE "EXCITEMENT" SETTLES SINCE THERE WAS SO MUCH HYPE ABOUT A "PRESS CONFERENCE", THAT WE'LL POSSIBLY SEE A DROP.
STILL HOLDING MY FIRST LIMIT ORDER PLACED IN AT $12.00 AND WILL CONTINUE TO STOCK UP (LITERALLY)

Looks like all the shorts abandoned ship. It really doesn't matter to me seeming that I won't sell a single share until a $1.00. My best wishes to all!

No, people don't understand the news therefore they all jump ship. It's called uneducated. The news wasn't put in simple words for them, and they weren't about to take the time to find out what it really means so they got scared and sold their shares.

I think there is fatigue. Many people had this stock for awhile and they are just tired of waiting for a jump...so they get rid of it while it's higher than the previous months. In penny land, there's not that many mid-long term investors. I was, that's why I bought this stock many months ago.
Hope we see some side trading for a few days and then this will get back on the road.
Diamonds are forever.

The News was not what everyone was hoping for. It was too much of a let down to sustain the price. It all comes down to NO DIAMONDS! This will not go up until they say they are actually pulling them from the earth! and that is not for months if not years..

"All of the Wawa diamond occurrences are in mica-rich lamprophyre, containing fragments of the lower crust. While most world diamond mines are in kimberlites, the Argyle Mine in Australia (www.ashton.net.au), which is the world's largest diamond producer (25% of world production by volume), is in non-kimberlitic rocks and produces yellow (champagne), pink and colourless diamonds."

Good post, I was wondering what those were. Yellow and pink diamonds run into the several millions, such as those that P Diddy wears, such as the ring Kobe Bryant bought for his wife after cheating on her, and other A list celebs. Good info though, still need some REAL news...

REPORT TO SHAREHOLDERS. BELLINGHAM, WA, February 26, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- North Star Diamonds, Inc. (NQB Pink Sheets: NSDM) is pleased to give an overview of the company to the shareholders.
Since beginning a diamond exploration program in Ukraine and in the Province of Manitoba in Canada, much progress has been made. Briefly, these are the accomplishments.
NSDM has assembled and still assembling a large land position on the Superior Craton, which is the world’s largest craton. Diamonds are found in cratons.
NSDM, on the first drill program in Manitoba, Lamprophyre was discovered. Diamonds are discovered in three types of rock: lamprophyre, lamproite and kimberlite. This is believed to be the first lamprophyre in Manitoba. This bodes well for the discovery of diamonds in Manitoba.
NSDM using state of the art techniques available and has assembled over 60,000 acres of land for future diamond exploration.
NSDM has been approved by the Government of Manitoba for the MEAP (Mineral Exploration Assistance Program) which reimburses up to 25% of the money spent for diamond exploration in Manitoba.
Based on the information gathered from the first drill program, a second drill program is being undertaken. More information will be given as soon as the dates and the program are finalized.
NSDM will be marketing diamonds through our website. These will be diamonds under the North Star trademark, which have been mined and cut in North America. Staff has been hired and the website will be set up as part of our existing site.
NSDM has sent the first set of documents to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for evaluation. This is with regard to the share structure
NSDM initially raised $500,000.00 to launch the company. A tranche for $1,000,000.00 is being raised to finance the summer and fall programs. The next two drill programs are fully financed.
The last results in Ukraine have been received. Four more micro diamonds have been found in the last two holes. The program in Ukraine is temporarily on hold as no winter drilling is carried out. Plans are being made to drill several more holes in a new area which has good geophysical characteristics. The area in which NSDM was working produced many micro diamonds and we are prospecting for an area which produces larger diamonds.
The press conference may be viewed as an attachment to our website. This gives an overview of the company plans.

I'VE PRETTY WELL EXHAUSTED MY RESEARCH ON NSDM. I HAVE GONE THROUGH EVERYTHING NUMEROUS TIMES AND NOW I HAVE A QUESTION:
TO DATE; WHAT WE HAVE, HOW CAN WE NOT FIND DIAMONDS ON A LARGE SCALE?
I AM LOOKING FOR A OBJECTIVE SECOND POINT OF VIEW HERE. I THINK OTHERS CALL THIS BASHING. BUT I AM SERIOUS, WHAT AM I MISSING?
FROM A START-UP COMPANY, THE PEOPLE IN PLACE, THE RESULTS WHICH HAVE BEEN REPORTED, WHAT IS THERE TO TELL ME TIME WONT TELL? THE MOST OBVIOUS SIGN OF IT ALL IS WHEN WE ARE SAMPLING, DIAMONDS ARE COMING UP IN THOSE SAMPLES; ACTUAL PHYSICAL DIAMONDS. WHAT I FIND MOST HUMOROUS IS WHEN I SEE OTHER BOARDS/POSTINGS ALL SEEM TO MOVE TOWARDS THE STOCK MOVING "WHEN WE FIND DIAMONDS". WELL HELLO! WE ARE!!!!
THOROUGH RESEARCH HAS BEEN DONE AND WHEN YOU HAVE "START-UP" MINING AKIN TO NSDM, ALL THE SCIENTIFIC/OBJECTIVE SIGNS ARE THERE. WHEN DEBEERS FINDS DIAMONDS, EVERYTHING YOU FIND WITH NSDM IS THE SAME FOR DEBEERS EXCEPT THE DIFFERENCE IN SHARE PRICE. ABER IS NO DIFFERENT STORY.
SO BASH AWAY AND HIT ME HARD. TELL ME REALISTICALLY WHY THIS STOCK WONT FLY. PLEASE NOTE THE KEYWORD REALISTIC HERE FOLKS AND SAVE THE JIBBER/JABBER..
