I guess that would make sense if I just bought Ohio. My point is that you must have a retail market for these diamonds. In a 25 sq mile area 3 large stand alone Jewelry stores have opened since October. This is in addition to the mall based stores. Typically a good indicator of growth in most industries. My question was if anyone else noticed this type of growth in their area. I have held this stock since middle of last year, so I didn't just break up w/ my gf. But I certainly see your point. This is not one of those situations, however. Just because more retail outlets exist does not necessarily mean that NSDM is selling diamonds. Just another indicator in a long list of DD.If stores were closing, my guess would be the market is shrinking.

I KEEP SEEING ON OTHER BOARDS WHICH I DO NOT POST; THOUGHTS FLYING ABOUT A NEW PR FOR NSDM. I THINK WE'RE FAR TOO EARLY INTO THE GAME FOR GOOD PR SUCH AS MERGER/BUYOUT/BLUE OR RED DIAMONDS FOUND, UKRAINE WILL POLISH OUR STONES WE FIND, THAT SORT OF NEWS.

I agree, it may be too early for the news we all want to hear. I would like to see some update on the status of them getting out of the pinks and on to the OTCBB. If I remember correctly, they stated it should happen around the first of the year? Timing might be right - who knows...

NO NEWS SINCE JAN 6 WHICH WAS SOMETHING BUT NOT REALLY ANYTHING.

North Star Diamonds, Inc. (NQB Pink Sheets: NSDM) North Star Diamonds is pleased to report the geochemical laboratory results on the Shire target on the Superior Craton in Manitoba.
Dr. Joseph Montgomery, Ph.D., P.Eng studied the laboratory results and has summarized them as follows.
'I have studied the analysis of your 13 samples which were subjected to total digestion and ICP analysis. I noted that samples 41138, 41140, 41141, 41142, 41143 and 41141R are all anomalous in the elements chromium (Cr), the latter five samples are also anomalous in the element nickel (Ni), and all of the above samples plus 41137 are anomalous in magnesium oxide (MgO).'
'This combination of anomalous elements indicates a mafic to ultramafic source such as gabbro, peridotite, or kimberlite.'
Petrographic studies are under way and are expected to be completed by February 9th, 2004. The results of the petrographic studies will be released after market on Tuesday February 10th, 2004.
North Star Diamonds, Inc. has accumulated more claims in the area near the Shire Target.

DO you agree that NSDM in QUEBEC( not sure if this is there) would carry across to CMKM? They are not that many miles apart and in same Kimberlite formations.?? VAN

I THINK WE'LL BE IN THE SAME "PATTERN" REGARDING NSDM.
