I wonder if we're going to see FAS take a dump tomorow, but be up good Friday and Monday. It seems like the days where FAZ is way up is, most of the time it's a good place to buy FAS. The next day it always seems to go up whatever they lost. Just spectulating.

BAC and C are taking a plunge. FAZ might be on the up swing of things. FAS might be headed towards that low Glenn.

My father jumped in TC and several others I just forgot. One company was a cell phone company in China. The other was a wierd company that I haven't heard of. I will get the tickers and post them when I call him next.
RHIE...what happened? Jumped to $0.80. I never sold all my shares. Part of why I have been silent. But happy to see it jump. Feel lots better now. But could be worse....
CBY....$51.06....this is a semi-blind stab but Here ya go. Kraft tried to take it over. Failed...but now Hershey wants it. If it does get bought out...there should be a surge in price. Watch it....but beware.
HSY....$35.33....read above. Also, read this article below. Short play??? Hershey leans toward making Cadbury bid: Journal 2:42a ET December 10, 2009 (MarketWatch) TEL AVIV (MarketWatch) -- Hershey Co., the Hershey, Pa., chocolate maker, and its controlling trust are leaning toward making a bid for the UK chocolate producer Cadbury but haven't finally decided, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal. A key concern for Hershey and its trust is that taking on debt to launch the bid could prompt a downgrade in its credit rating, which is currently investment-grade with a negative outlook at Standard & Poor's, the Journal reported. Hershey probably would have to take on about $10 billion of debt, issue billions of dollars of new stock, and accept investments in exchange for equity in a combined Hershey-Cadbury, the Journal reported. Kraft Foods, the Northfield, Ill., foods-production giant, has proposed to pay 300 pence plus 0.2589 share for each share of Cadbury.

I have Scottrade, but since I did 4 round trip trades within a 5 day window, I am considered a day trader and they take away the margin, which takes away my settled funds sideskirt also. Sucks.
BIG NO NO!!!!
Go cash out. Make an TDAMERITRADE account. Allow one of us to refer you so you get some free trades and one of us will too. Getting flaged is crippling. The way it works with TD is....you must have $25k at ALL TIMES or more. Once you drop below $25k. You can no longer buy....only sell. Your account is suspended from buying until you reach $25k or after I believe 90 days....might be longer. Forget....but sidestep them and switch brokers. Get Margin with a new one.
Choicetrade is terrible!!! Good luck!!

Well gents, I can buy and sell in the same day, but have to wait for funds to settle before I can buy again. Bought into RIMM today at $65.35. Plan on holding it for awhile.

Oil and airlines usually move inverse to each other. With oil so low right now, it might be a good time to short this. Probably have to hold for a couple weeks to make any profit, but oh well.

Thanks Glenn!! I think I wet my pants, that was an awesome score! I love it when that happens.
I don't have more than 25k. I'm limited to 3 trades out of 5 days just like you are. Sucks.

Well, my theory is, on and off anyway, is: Sometimes you just gotta wait for a good thing, There's plenty of times where I see maybe a few percent (1-2%)in something, but unless you have a boat load of money it's just not worth it. Sometimes it just plain pays to wait. Especially when we're limited in the amount of trading we can do. Wait for the good pitches!

R1, if I cash out and go to Ameritrade, does the daytrader thing stick with me or will I basically reset?

Thanks Bill, Get back in the game brotha. Like you said "work as a team". I'm sure your busy with family stuff and/or work, but it would be great if you can free up some time here and there and get back to it. I did my best trading when you were around, not to obligate you or anything. It would just be good if you were here more often.
