r1...i had shorted AIG yesterday after i saw your post about it headed to 20...i shorted at 30...i was green yesterday at the close but today after I saw early news about settling some debt or some BS..i reversed it to long took a small hit and now im up about 50 bucks...I just went short on AIG at 31.75 ...this is really wild today but i do think its headed higher at days end. im only playing with 200-300 shares a pop...so i cant get hurt too badly..

raj...DRV moves very fast ...so i hopwyou grabbed enough to cover you commissions and then give it wiggle room and be prepared to bail quick and not take a loss..but for right now..i like it..im short DRN at this moment..which is the inverse to DRV ...will not take a loss but currently green

Gents, I am clueless about this market. However, you don't have to be right to make money so I am gonna stop going against the grain on this market. Jobs report showed that more jobs were cut than forecasted and the market is still up. I am not going to hold FAZ (or any other short) overnight for long time to come. This market wants to go up. Let's roll with it. I heard a great quote on Bloomberg this morning. "Bad news is good and good news is better"

I hear ya Glenn. It's riDICKulous isn't it?!?! It seems like the only reason it's going up is because it's getting to be the end of the year and lots of people are just starting to get into the market keeping it high and even forcing it up more. Although I think there is going to be a rude awakening after the first of the year. I got out of FAZ, it's just not looking good. I wish I would have spotted their trend months ago, I could have actually made money, but now, it's a totally different trend...not sure what's gonna happen.

i made good buck and took profit..that is why..if it keeps going..que se ra se ra...I just doubled up on DRN now at 126 shares long from 125..if the markets rebounds that is good coin...go man go
