My feeling with Black Friday is that, I don't think it will show enough great sales to keep the market high. I think that's partially why the market is so high right now, as in: lots of buying forcing the market up, kind of like people buying into companies right before their earnings report. I think the sales would have to be tremendously better than expected. Although I think the Market could stay up fairly high through the rest of the year and start to take a dump after the first of the year. Black Friday sales WILL tell everything!

I don't know what's up there with AONE Morpheus. They really took off at 1:00, looking at the chart.

Morpheus...I'm wondering if going short where they're topping out, about $17, would be good??? It seems like they're getting a little week.

ya just gotta jump in with relativly small position if it goes against you and you really think its got potential to go in your direction, add a little bit more like 50% of your original buy in..maybe just take one last chance and if it still goes against you, cut your loss if you bet wrong..if it goes your way..add a little more and give it plenty of "wiggle room"..seems to work for me...i did add a little more to YRCW, LVS HPQ and DRN with this strategy in mind, they all were against me today soooo...roll the dice and see what will be...gotta luv luv luv cyber vegas

market fairly flat. I say it will end red today. I have been asking around and stores have decreased inventory and store managers are being told to expect a smaller turnout than last year.

I see all the ads on TV saying the stores will be open even earlier this year, it all has been giving me a feeling of desperation on their part. I really don't think sales will be that great, still considering 15 million people are still unemployed.

many times during he trading day...you can short a stock..and then all of the sudden...due to volume or what ever...you try to short a stock that just 5 or 10 minutes ago was shortable...is now "no share immediately available to short....will try to locate shares" crap will happen and your order remains open...when this does happen, I just close my order and move on..

I tried to short FAS a few days ago at about 79.00 so I could get a quick gain, rather than piling more money in FAZ, and found out FAS and FAZ aren't shortable. lame

I use Scottrade. They are very helpful and I love the scottrader platform. Lots of tools available. A little steep at $7 bucks a pop, but oh well.
