i soled out of DXO at the close yesterday..looking to buy back closer to 2 bucks..with te oil news going down it looked like it could have happened today ..but not bimmer

How about that....bought SRS and down money and sold C at $6.80 instead of my $7.00 sell point. Doh.....backwards day I guess.

Good Morning everyone and Happy New Year! Well, I think its gonna be an up day. The Nikkie is up 112...oil down....thinking we could see a 60 point gain today. Well, I'm tired today...son woke up at 7am...yuck!! Still holding 1400 VG * $0.70......selling at $0.85 and 150 SRS * $53.30....selling at $55.

Morning all ,, Madpammy, I dont think with an ETF that makes a difference. They are based on the market that they are based..Also most ETFs are fairly new to trading so a 52 week low might only be an average for 3 months like with TNA TZA..Only started trading in November. Just my opinion on that.. Good luck today

DRYS has really done good the last few days ,, I am still holding from 12.35 hoping to re-coup from that one.. But is up 2 to 3 bucks the last few trading days..Would have been a good flip if I didnt get stuck on margin balance last week..

I grabbed C Monday at $6.68....missed that completely.... Never thought it would drop below $6.60. But bid today is $6.65. Beats the low of $6.51 yesterday atleast. Still holding 1,400 shares of VG. In at $0.70 average. I have a maintance call of $265 so have to add some funds or sell something. Have to check $$$ in the bank.
DRYS looks good...$9.17
But yesterday I almost bought SRS at $56 instead of C....wish I had
Nice call on DRYS. wanted to get in around 9 but had no money in my account

I am selling some DRYS at 12.50 to free up cash and am going to keep a few shares in my portfolio for later on down the year..

Good for you!! My son is soo crabby today.
SRS hit $53.47 then crashed again... VG is up slightly. I think C can still be flipped pretty easy. I think SKF might drop into the $90s today....if the market closes up it should be there so be careful.
So what is everyone's goals for $$$ this year. I am looking at making $50k trading this year. That is my target. Seems high but highly possible. Got to recover my big screw up last year....yuck!! Down $17-18k. I'm thinking I will be at $20k by April. Then it will get easy making money.

just sold half my MSFT at 19.94..to free up some mola..took a small loss on those but that ok..it could drop from here

I think you will have to settle for a small loss. Its a new ETF and ETFs trading is completely new to me. That one is based on a bear market and I'm not so sure that the market will go down much anymore with Obama coming into office. I think him coming in will put more trust in the market and investors will come out of hiding.

I was thinking when it went up 150 early that it would sag later in the day. That's when I bought bear (TZA) It still could but more likely will finish with a 200 point + gain now.....but only one day in the last 7 has been down.
