CIT is a mess. That stock has to be breaking some kind of laws to benefit someone. Think...they post bad PR....price drops to $0.31. Then say they are doing great....stock jumps over $1.50.....then say Chapter 11 needed. Stock drops down to $0.75. Then says doing good....stock jumps $1.50...then tanks off to $1.20s. Then release possible buyout by indymac and price jumps to $2.20s. Now states chapter 11 crap again. I really think someone in this company has been playing this to make some fat cats a ton of money. Think about how much they would of made.
Say $100.00 bet. So they buy at $0.31. 322.58 shares. Sells at $1.50. $483.87. Sells it short at $1.50. So 322.58 shares. Covers at $0.75. $725.80. Buys back in now. 967 shares. Sells at $2.20. $2,127.4. Nows sells it short at $2.20. 967 shares short. Covers at $1.33 curent price. $2,968.89 end result. So the ways its been played....a hundred bucks would of turned into $2,968.89, $2,868.89 gain and a 28.6889 bagger. I think some dirty stuff is being played here. Think about it.....

I think the market will dip down even more then its current level. I know its down 115 points but I think it will drop 200+ today...??? So market correction....yep. Have your money ready for the great buys coming. I'm going to switch things up and grab MT LONG and take a break from trading while I get things caught up here when it all crumbles.

Awesome math going on there R1. I got into CIT yesterday, and could have made about $400, but hesitated and thought it would go higher and missed my sell. Then it started to tank and the chart didn't look good to me so I bailed and lost just a little. Now today BOOM it's down 40%. Yeah, I think your right something really weird going on there.

Well, R1, I think if it drops 200+, it could just keep going in the days to come. Could see a lot of big drop days coming.

DSCO looks really strong. I wish I would have spotted the trend a little better, $1.40 looks pretty good now.

GETA has been interesting the last 2 weeks. I'm not sure what to make of this BioPharm. company. Look at the history. Very interesting. They deal with cancer related drugs. Had some success a few years ago and it fell through with a bad clinical trial. It looks to me that they are onto something again with a new phase 3 clinical trial. Just one to possibly keep under radar.

Watching DSCO, hoping to get out 5-8%. I think they could go to $1.75 fairly easily today. I'm thinking a good low, at this point, is going to be about $1.46-$1.53, we'll see.

So what's the market going to do today? I say down. Anyone that has advice: I bought DSCO yesterday at $1.48, And probably should have sold it making a small profit at $1.52, but I held it and it didn't want to do much the rest of the day. Looking at the charts it is in an up trend and has been for a while now, although it might take a while for it to come back up, and I don't want to be stuck in it for weeks or whatever. Does anyone see anything here worth hanging on to, or should I get rid of it soon??

Yeah, I sort of expected a little correction. but this is a bit extreme all at once like this! Market manipulation drives me crazy. I hope for a little recovery going into this afternoon.

Yeah, there might be a little recovery this afternoon, but I think if we keep seeing days like this we might see some even bigger drops. Be carefull.

Agreed TJ. I'm just holding what I have for now. Hoping for recovery and maybe some small gains. Treading lightly.

SPF. I am down like 15%. I have been in since 3.80. Not a back breaker yet, but definately has potential. I have a margin call so I will need to deposit some cash. I don't want to sell because every damn time I sell late like this the stock recovers.

Sorry, that sucks, I know how that feels. I hate being just plain stuck. My trading hasn't been good at all the past few weeks or more. I had a big loss and that has ruined everything, and now I'm getting into that fearfull and semi-desperate stage, you know the feeling.

I feel pretty confident that this one will recover. It's just a matter of how long will it take, and how low will it go before it turns around. I don't mind holding for a few weeks if I have too. I have found that patience like that pays. However, I can't continue to take much more downward bleeding before the recovery. So, I hope for some positive days to come.

With the exception of SIRI , which i have been buying on the dips, im up to 250K shares now, I have been short. for the last 3 weeks..I had been adding to my positions of FAZ SRS TZA and daytrading DRV (which is the 3x inverse to SRS)...ETF's are where its at for me...they are easy to predict..market goes down the inverse go up and vice versa...all the other stock picks are too gauge for me these days..I remain short into fridays job report which I feel will drive the market down more..good luck to us all
