glenn....I do not like money I cant waste on stocks that end in "Q"...means they could stop trading anytime...midday or whatever and you loose....Look at solid companies...KKD (looking really good I may get some too) COST AZO F MOS SMG M ...IMHO...I think I will be picking up some of these as well...personally right now im in MSFT DENN AONE SIRI X F AMD (which I just picked up last tuesday) for buy and hold and I actively trade stuff like DRN SOLF COIN S YRCW YGE JASO WLT (X and WLT seem to be trending down lately) i love the resturant sector right now..CPKI BAGL KIRK DENN PEET...I will be shifting out of industrials and into these very soon most likely end of today..good luck in cyber vegas

COIN holding its own. Looking real good on the 4 month chart. I am really looking to hold this for a little while. It's performance will determine how long at this point. I hope to make some nice money on this one.

morpheus....no matter what u say..u remain the daddy of this cybervegas thing...i think most of us will agree with me here....glad that u r still nice enough to share your picks for buy/hold and quick in/outs....DRN is obviously out of my reach...since if i can not get at least 100 stocks, i don't get into it.

raj...with DRN its a very fast mover...it moves with the DOW very closely...I watch the SRS chart for my indicator...you can trade 3, 5 to 10 or more shares and make great money if you are using a broker like IBD and only 1 dollar buy and sells..I usually trade this with anywhere from 40 to 200 shares a pop..many times i start with a little and then add as its going my way..(and then it does aslight reversal and wipes out all my profits quickly and sometimes it dont)..like now..I started with 30 short added 30 more short as I was green and just added 30 more in just the last half hour or so..so right now im short 90 shares with a little profit showing, but that could change really quick so im here watching it closely..remember..its the percentage of the move..not the cost of the stock

same with BIDU...only buy 2k worth to start (4 shares..this thing moves 30 to 80 bucks a day..not bad for a 2k buy in don't you think? Its really going gang busters now that GOOG is pulling away from china...hmmmm...thats a thought..

raj...the most important thing in this line of work is picking the correct direction of the move..IE if you go long a 2 dollar stock that goes nowhere, sideways, down was way more EXPENSIVE and therefore you CAN NOT AFFORD than a 85,100, 150 (or more) dollar stock that goes up (or what ever direction you placed your bet on)..if I take a long position on a 150 dollar stock and a 2 dollar stock the same day and in 1 week sell my shares for 185 dollars and 1.90...shich stock was more expensive?? right?

my level 2 charts...i use scottrade...i like them they are accurate and good..or if you prefer..www.freestockcharts.com (use the firefox browser and not google chrome)..they claim to be realtime...but there is often a big delay..so there you go...I like freestockcharts as I have build a huge library of stocks that i track by sector and this give me great ideas..

the sign came up when i registered saying enjoy free charts until 1/18/10 - so figured what after?
SRS is proshares ultrashort RE - how do you get indication for DRN fm that?
I use scottrade but Interactive does look good but bundled vs unbundled pricing is diff - i gotta spend more time at this trying to see which one fit the bill.

raj...with freestock they do offer a premium service and that is what that popup is about...and yes SRS is short realestats and DRN is long realestate...when SRS goes down DRN goes up and vice versa...and as for IBD i have the 1 buck trade option i think they call unbundled pricing..

PFSW - I noticed this one on another board. Up almost 100% today. I did some very brief research. Looks like a legit company. In business for more than 10 years. Decent history. Balance sheet, income, etc. look decent.

I use stockcharts.com. You have to pay for the nice charts and real time service. But the charts are simply awesome.
