LOL, my bad luck is apparently already working. [Roll Eyes]

But this should be a temporary. The one director bought his 50,000 shares at $11.23.

S&P cuts US mortgage insurers, housing outlook dims

NEW YORK, April 8 (Reuters) - Standard & Poor's Ratings Services on Tuesday downgraded four U.S. mortgage insurers, including MGIC Investment Corp's (MTG) arm, citing a worse-than-expected housing slump.

yeah, thanks jo.

Found this from this morning, so it'll be intereesting to watch today, I think.:

http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080409/mortgage_insurers_ahead_of_the_bell.html?.v=1

Standard & Poor's Ratings Services' decision to slash credit ratings on four mortgage insurers is not surprising and will not likely affect their ability to write additional business, a Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co. analyst said Wednesday.

.
.
.

We expect the stocks may be weak on the headline," Stelmach said. "However, the longer-term impact on fundamentals is not likely to be material, as long as the mortgage industry needs the mortgage insurance capacity."

That bounce in the morning on MTG was just the "jo effect" taking place, because I got stopped out at $11.45 right at the open. So even though I didn't get the extra spike, I still broke even and at least I'm not holding it now that it is down in the low 11's. Today was the "5 days" for me anyhow.

No, I just know that there's a 0% chance that you have 15X the money in your account than you had at the beginning of March.

Out of SCS at 10.65 for just over a 6% loss. Although there was a .15 dividend, so really it's just under a 5% loss.

Last couple have not gone as well, but I'm comfortable that it will turn around soon.

I was in at $11.15 and out at $10.80. Thought I would share the information now that you are out of it. Sorry if my buying brought bad luck upon you for this one.
