-oh I still think it has a chance to see $20 by Jan. 2007.
This stock has shown that in 4/5 days it can pack on $5.
With all the news and excitement this stock has been jerked in every direction, hopefully it can calm down and I'll load up, it may run on good news and I'll miss it -chance I'm willing to take.
As far as LONGS go, everything is fine, I myself shoot for (RISKY!) -short fast 100%+ poppers like APPI, PYTO those were great! Still in PBLS and ECFL is red hot, FPLD looks like a buy and so does AVTI. Type these in that chart above and you'll SEE what I mean

Its all coming together.... remember, the Marines LOVE FRPT.
ARMY TO MEET WITH MARINES, INDUSTRY TO DISCUSS HUMVEE REPLACEMENT > >_______________________________________________ > >Date: December 11, 2006 > > >Army Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Richard Cody plans to host a meeting sometime early next year with top industry officials and the Marine Corps to discuss mid-term measures to replace the humvee, Marine Corps and defense industry sources tell Inside the Navy. > > >ITN reported last month that this meeting was scheduled for sometime before the end of this year, but it has been delayed due to circumstances surrounding the Army long-term budget, according to sources. The meeting is supposed to help determine what tactical vehicle technologies may be available in the coming years to, in the words of one source, “triage” the immediate need for more survivable vehicles in Iraq and Afghanistan. > > >The Army has declined to comment on, or acknowledge plans for, the meeting. But sources said the session is in the works and would be held with industry executives, also known as “captains of industry.” > > >Capt. Jeff Landis, a spokesman for Marine Corps Systems Command, told ITN last week that the Marine Corps is aware of the planned meeting and is awaiting a formal invitation. Marine Corps vehicle program managers and deputies would attend the meeting, Landis said. > > >Some are calling the subject of the meeting the “new multi-purpose wheeled vehicle.” The Army needs about 21,000 of these vehicles, sources say. The Army wants to acquire existing vehicles, such as the Force Protection-made Cougar and General Dynamics-product Stryker, before the “optimum” solution is available. Cost is a major consideration in this effort, according to sources. > > >Ultimately, the Marine Corps and Army plan to procure the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle -- or the JLTV family of vehicles -- to replace their aging humvee fleets. Right now, the Marine Corps is buying Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles to replace some of its humvees in Iraq. MRAP vehicles fall into three categories. Category one is for urban combat operations; category two is a multimission platform for convoy escort, troop transport and combat engineers; and category three is a larger vehicle for mine and improvised explosives clearance operations. > > >The Army has a requirement to buy 2,500 MRAP vehicles as part of the Marine Corps’ MRAP acquisition, according to internal Army briefing slides obtained by ITN. The slides are dated Dec. 5. > > >The Marine Corps budgeted for 850 MRAP vehicles in its fiscal year 2007 supplemental, but the Army has yet to work out how the service is funding its MRAP purchase, according to a Marine Corps source. > > >MRAP and other immediate humvee replacement initiatives are not part of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle program, according to the Army and Marine Corps. JLTV is set to come on line in the 2012-time frame, however some industry sources say that the fielding of interim vehicles could delay JLTV. -- Zachary M. Peterson

Bush is videoconferencing with military command in Iraq tomorrow. Pentagon on Wednesday.
Just heard on npr this morning more US troop deaths due to roadside IED's this past weekend. I have no shame pumping this company and their technology and am convinced that more of these vehicles is the right thing to do regardless of whether troops are pulled or retained.

Repo, Based on your post above, what's your estimation of the dollar amount frpt is looking at in contracts if they get the HUMVEE replacement business?
posted
Haha, BILLIONS - 100, 200. But that is long term.
What we want now is for the Army to choose one of the FRPT vehicles as the interim... so say, 20,000 vehicles. That would be a good $10 billion at least = $50 per share.

Just a reminder about this extension that Repo posted on the 12/5

DECEMBER 18 is now the date to mark on your calendar...that's Monday folks! Jo
quote: DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR URGENT HUMVEE INTERIM REPLACEMENT PROPOSALS - Marine Corps Systems Command is giving industry more time to prepare proposals for a program that aims to immediately replace some of the service’s humvees in Iraq.
Proposals for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) tactical ground vehicles are now due Dec. 18, rather than Dec. 8. The extension will help the Marine Corps ensure all potential contractors receive an important classified annex, according to Marine Corps spokesman Capt. Jeff Landis.
"The MRAP will provide deployed commanders, various units, explosive ordnance disposal and combat engineer teams with survivable ground mobility platforms," according to the Nov. 9 request for proposals, published on the Navy’s business opportunities Web site (www.neco.navy.mil).
The deadline extension allows smaller contractors, which often have more difficulty obtaining classified requirements, ample time to obtain all the necessary information, said industry sources.
The Marine Corps divides MRAP vehicles into three categories. Category one is for urban combat operations; category two is a multimission platform for convoy escort, troop transport and combat engineers; and category three is a larger vehicle for mine and improvised explosives clearance operations. The RFP requests vehicles in the first and second categories.
The Marine Corps does not plan to buy more than 1,500 category-one vehicles and 2,600 category-two vehicles, according to the notice. However, funding is not yet available to reach the total requirement of 4,991 vehicles. With 69 MRAP vehicles already procured and the 805 budgeted in the FY-07 supplemental, the Marine Corps remains 4,117 vehicles short of the requirement, according to an internal Marine Corps briefing. Its about time to buyback!!! RSI IMO won't fall through 50 as it had a hard time getting just below the 60. Aroon still showing downtrend so I picked up a 100 and will wait on the other 50 later this week to bring my total back to 200 shares. It may fall a little further but NOT much. I say EOD between 12.95 and 13.05.

Hahaha.. ok ignore this clown for a second, and let's get back to reality.
Ok, I told you this was coming, and here is the leak... ST22, GET IN NOW! It appears $12.90 is support (we've hit 3 times), and selling volume is drying up.. that means we're basing.
A PR should be coming soon! This deal could be worth BILLIONS (3-5)... remember, the last order was for 200 Cougars and we hit $17... what will 4100 Cougars do???
USMC BOOSTS ORDERS FOR BLAST-RESISTANT VEHICLES – The U.S. Marines are accelerating the order of improvised explosive device (IED)-resistant vehicles to meet urgent battlefield demands in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The Marine Corps Systems Command stepped up ordering the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) armored vehicles in September, and in recent weeks the number of requests has risen to about 4,100, Marine Corps officials said.
"We quickened the pace because we recognized the urgent and compelling need," said Capt. Jeff Landis at Marine Corps Systems Command in Quantico, Va.
They requested blast-resistant, heavily armored vehicles include the 23-ton Buffalo and the 7-ton Cougar, along with a Cougar variant, the Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal Rapid Response Vehicle (JERRV). All of these vehicles are made by Force Protection, headquartered in Ladson, S.C.
Company Deals – In recent weeks, Force Protection announced a joint venture with General Dynamics Land Systems, which will help build Force Protection vehicles at its plant in Lima, Ohio. (Source: Defense News)

Of course, do you think I have inside info?? It was printed in Defensenews.com , quoting a Marine Spokesman that the order is for 4100. To date, there has been NO order for 4100, only the contract (MRAP). If you want I can post that contract.
So if you have a Marine spokesman saying that the Marines plan to order 4100 more vehicles, and they mention only FRPT in the article... who do think will get this conract???

Wait for the "hook" in the Stochastic indicator, still really pointing down, one momentun bar down in the MACD Histogram also today, RED volume days (more sell orders coming in then buys).
Here, better yet!!
I "tweaked" the MACD two line indicator so it's sharper, when it bends that would be a good time to buy, but NOT before IMO. Not enough things lined up yet IMO ~
-just surfing through peeps ~ You guys are going to have a dang nice run here when those PR's hit ~
Like I said, watch this tweaked MACD two line, look what it did Nov 29th! Bagged that first whit candle and marked the turn point "exactly." The chart here will refresh every 20 min FYI.
I also put a default setting MACD two line below it for you all to compare, see how the tweaked one is sharper?...
