I didn't notice anyone mentioning the key point in the press release (the 2nd most recent one. They are installing a gondola temporarily under the airship to fly it, manned, to Edwards, and will do all the testing there, where FAA approval isn't needed. That gives them more time to get the final FAA approval, while not having to get it for the test phase.

I think you read into it. The FAA approval they were talking about is a flight plan. They will not need a flight plan to operate in Edwards restricted space. I do not think that it has anything to do with airframe inspection and approval. I believe that they would still need airframe approval for the pilot to fly it from where they are to Edwards. And a flight plan that covers this. They are talking about having problems with FAA flight approval for an unmanned craft in commercial airspace. Edwards is Military Restricted Airspace and not controled by the FAA

The gondola thing seems problematic imo. I don't doubt that we'll see the prototype next month, but I don't think the test flight from Edwards will happen for at least 2 months.

Why do you see the gondola as problematic? And what indicates to you a 2 month delay of the test flight? Just curious of your thinking on this.

To me....the gondola is a way to avoid lengthy FAA flight plan approvals and to speed the process to begin the test flights at Edwards IMO.

Pagan, your positive perspective on the delay is the same perspective PR conveyed in the recent PR.
I like this stock and I believe it could go pretty high from here, but I also read all PRs with some skepticism in order to cut through the spin.
I do not believe this delay is a positive thing for the short term, and this news could (keyword *could*) be the first indication of a shaky investment for the long term.
So, I am just trying to strip some of the sugar coating from the recent PR and protect my gains. I got out at .275 and the down trend has continued from there. Like I said, this stock could go places in the future but for now we have delays.
I cannot predict the future obviously. But I wagering that the bottom is yet to come before the end of the month and I can't watch my funds go down with it.
I'll be back (tomorrow even) if the volume turns positive.

Agreed.
As for why it's down...I think it would be down regardless of the rest of the market. People just don't want to wait another month without a return on their investments. But that's just my personal take on it.
Basically, without income, the stock can't hold the price.

Ya the markets are down overall, but good stocks are still climbing. I know I am beating a dead horse here and have even been ribbed for stating the obvious, but THE FAA APPROVAL DID NOT HAPPEN.
This stock has been accumulating for weeks on the anticipation of FAA news. The only reason I didn't sell right after the recent news was because I was confused that it did not drop more quickly. And I think the fact that she is not tanking is a testament to the very positivie attitudes of the shareholders.

This baby will launch no later than mid-April IMHO. Imagine if it dropped under .1 in the next few weeks. Wow, would that be a GTEL buy party or what. There's no need to worry here friends, we'll see blue skies soon enough. At least we can fly it as a blimp until launch, or at least to the Air Force Base.
How's that for positive. lol

Please don't take my comments as bashing, nor do I recommend that everyone sell. Everyone should trade their plan.
Like I said, I think this is a good stock, but I just don't want to ride out the dips.
Assuming we get some uptrends between now and mid April (or whenever the next + news could come out), then I will be flipping this one.

Just a small bump. Things will be good for those who hold on. Hope people don't jump the ship too quickly, just to be found all wet and everyone else dry and happily sailing.
Whoa, I think I just pulled a dustoff! I've gotta stop reading this thread so much.

Once again....patience will reward the longs here...the long term outlook for GTEL has not changed from recent news. It's still a very good company with huge potential. I'm going to buy a lot more if it drops another 5 cents or so.

This stock is good buy at any price that it's been at, just dream about what the future will bring for us. In a year from now, all of us holds will be sitting back and smiling. In 3-5 years, we'll be retired.
