Depends on when you look at it!
I'm betting it will go up today. I am surprised they did not talk about FAA approval. Perhaps the broker was incorrect? Or it might be a news release tomorrow.

This stock takes a dive every morning and every afternoon. It should then head back north at the close. I am suprised that it did not go higher at the open with the pr. Sit tight and you will be okay.

GMH is right the time will come. Once the prototype lifts off, we'll probably kiss the .3's away for good. There will come a time to buy again over the next three weeks, patience is a virtue. GTEL is gonna skyrocket in a few months or less. 'It's a Winner!'

This is a stupid question, but how can you tell whether they sold or bought? At stockwatch (non-member) they only seem to show the volume, but not whether they sold or bought.

there is only an assumption of a buy or sell based on the current bid/ask......

It's a reasonable newbie question. Note, if someone buys stock, then someone had to sell it to them, thus the only thing to show is volume. I don't know of a way to determine whether there are more buyers vs sellers.
I believe what you are looking for is whether the trend is up or down. To determine that you have to following the stock's trend and daily/weekly patterns, as well as follow news and try to determine trader opinion of the stock.

Why do you feel this is a great stock to buy? I am new to buying stocks and saw on a previous email you thought this stock would skyrocket.
Thanks for your help !
Do your DD on this company, and you should be able to see what the excitement is all about. That's the best I can do. Or just take a week or so to read through this entire thread. LOL

Question: why are people scaling in on dips, in other words, why load up more on downs?
I would think that smart money would buy into a significant run.
I notice a lot of people posting that they scale in on dips, but I have yet to read a trading book that recommends this. In fact everything I read says the opposite - you scale in when the stock pops. Scale up.
It seems like uneccesary risk to load up on these insignificant dips.
Disclosure: I am holding several thousand since last month.

The reason you see this here is because most everyone is long on this. And since we are not day traders and not rich we have to accumulate when we have money. So we follow the trend which has been very predictable so far. This way you can add shares when you have money but not just to catch a up swing. Also you can flip this stock several times a week and accumulate more by saleing after or during a run and then wait for the next low point to buy back in.

Besides I have been on this one since .04 and flipped it many times. I will sell 20,000-30,000 shares after I notice a peak and then buy back at the low usally the next day.
