WOW, Tex is BACK! The good lord must have decided you have more work to due here on earth.
From the response you've recieved here I'd say he's pleased with what you've been doing so far.
Take time and get healthy.

I'm glad to see you're still able to count you blessings while going through tough times.

good, thanks.

No longer reliant on family or friends for daily care. Got my own temporary rental place, got my dog...

I'm slower than normal, but that goes with the territory. Won't last.

ya...lol, it hit me on the way to get a BBQ sandwich.

Well, obviously the most famous is about peeps living lives of quiet desperation. Then there's a famous one about simplicity...planning and living a simplified life.

truth be told, I never finished Walden...each page had at least one mind-blowing sentence--I'd read some then think it over for a year or two. I need to pick it back up...

Here's a couple I found, not off the top of my head, simplicity first:

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined. As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler.

Now, my favorite:

Do not be too moral. You may cheat yourself out of much life. Aim above morality. Be not simply good; be good for something.

You should stop in more often, trading or not.

But I would drop that "final good-bye" thingee... [Razz]

Go with ecstatic, my buddy...

True, it's sad I will lose my family home. But I gotta tell you, being alive after dodging a bullet like that changes your perspective. Had I lost my home to the mortgage-company crooks without this experience? I may have become a bitter, old man.

However, as it is, I get some say in who buys my place and should have enough moolah to start over--of course, on a much smaller scale...but alive.

I smile a lot.

Thanks for reaching out
