I've been reading threat since Feb./March and have made a good bit of money (for a new guy with little money) on this stock. However, I am down on my current shares. My thought is that we will not see an increase in PPS until we see a new carrier. It seems obvious to me that there is little confidence in RCN. WE NEED A COMCAST, DIRECT TV, TIME WARNER, CHARTER CONTRACT. That is the carrot that Frank has dangled but not produced for way to long IMO.

Yea, except substitute the gin for vodka, then you got it. Its the same as Absolut Citron, except its Ketel 1's version.

He was probably being a smart azz. I was a bartender in college for 3 years and I use to do stuff like that all the time to be a smart azz. I would hardly say a martini is feminine though, its basically pure vodka or gin with a splash of vermouth, or if you drink a dirty matini, substitute the vermouth with olive juice. All it pretty much is, is sipping very cold gin or vodka. Although I guess your right though, just shooting it straight would be more manly, then again, I did enough of that at the fraternity house in college. I like to enjoy it more now.

There's a martini bar in San Antonio that has writers, poets, etc favorite martinis. I like the E.B.White_ Bombay Sapphire gin, glass laced with Contreau and anchovey stuffed olives. You should really try it!

I wonder about the preference of certain spirits..... As long as they are 40% alchol or more...I just wanna suck em down till I feel my head getting heavy.....Just can't see actually enjoying the taste of any liquor.. They got one purpose...To get me drunk fast...And a 5 dollar bottle of whatever can do that....

Most liquors are an aquired taste. You usually don't like them when you first try them, which makes you want to just shoot them down and get the job done. But, if I remember right, you live in Tennessee. There is more than just Bourbon out there to try. J/K

I felt the board calling.
GREY GOOSE MARTINI, STRAIGHT UP. SHAKEN LIGHTLY, DRY. WITH ONIONS.
Workin' on my second but, Whoooo-Man'O Man, You should see the size of this glass.

Gotta' love the Martini.
Classic, no fruit foo-foo added.
A good woman, drinks the best Martini's.

Hint guys. Check her liquor cabinet, medicine cabinet, lingerie drawer, fridge and you've learned all you need to know. IMHO.

Cheers.

Look what you and firefly started! A whole page dedicated to alcohol. I can't wait to hear the bitc*ing from everyone in the morning about how they had to scroll past a whole page of alcohol talk. Just a note for the first one who wants to bitc*, firefly and lilpenny started it.

P.S. lil- good advice!

Your right Kris...but I still go back to the statement....I drink to get a buzz or drunk...not to enjoy the taste...Hell I get a coke for that....Still lots of stills around here to get the strongest drink you can imagine...Doesn't taste good but does what alcohol is intended for....Guess I just overdo things....But bottom line the buzz is what I am after. And I feel if someone is drinking spirits for the taste they got issues.....But I am one man with one small mind so what do I know...

kb and others, once you try Oban or McMillan_ Chivas will be secondary except when you are at your average bar and you don't have those choices. Firefly, are you still awake?
