Was watching RB also during the CC and there was dozens of them posting as they were listening. 200 posts in one hour. So It had a lot of people on the phone. That doesn't even cover IH, HH, HSM, and the chocolate drink, lol, Yah*o, which all have huge Q boards on them. The thing is like you said, they used a company that specializes in CC to handle the calls coming in and would have no problems with this kind of call volume. Ric IP: Logged

Scoundrel Member	posted November 04, 2004 12:10 Just a note about the number 1100 on the call. That is likely not a numebr representing concurrent participants, but rather a total number that connected during the call, and perhaps even the number who later hit the replays. If someone called in, perhaps early, then dropped to deal with something, then called back in, they would be counted as 2 calls. If someone kept getting dropped every 5 minutes, and called in 12 times thats 12 callers. So 1100 gets real easy to hit when counted that way. Conf call service companies can handle an enormous number of callers, since they must be equipped to handle multiple confernce calls being run simultaneously. Their equipment is far more complex than a typical PBX or other phone switch system as found in a normal company system. They usually have acquired space in an AT&T, Sprint, or MCI data center so they sit right on the national trunks with esentially unlimited potential connection. 1100 to them is nothing frankly. I've been on conference calls with that many people IT'S NOT THAT HARD. U4 is TOTALLY LYING and I can't believe it's being accepted. Hey, Frank is actually an alien from the planet Alpha Sucka 6, intent on taking over the world with NECCO WAFERS, sell sell!!! I coulndt get into anything I tried to buy. chased hiet up to 1.12 then said forget it lol. tried to get into nvac and couldnt get in either. I hope all qbiddians had a profitable day. I have been busy lately and not posting as often in the qbid thread but I have not lost faith in the Q. It may take a couple years or even 5 years but Q will most likely pay off big for anyone who got in since a penny a share. those of you who were smart enough to get in at .0001 well you will see new highs in the future but it will take some time. I was originally thinking this was a get rich quick stock but after common sense set in I realise this is a long tern hold to retirement and yes I think if I hold qbid for 3 to 5 years I can retire early. for all the newbies reading this do not pay attention to the bashers Qbid has accomplished great things this year they are on the move. once sub numbers for rcn come in if they reach 7% and stay at or above 7% then Q will have prooven to all the big carriers that the demand is there and contracts with the top 5 cable companies will roll thru. I truly believe if the public likes Q's programming that by next summer it is realistic to think comcast time warner and even dish or direct tv would sign on board. I realise I am down almost 50% on My shares but I am not worried all we ever had to do was launch and now all we have to do is be patient. good things come to those who wait keep the faith everyone and good luck to all now I shall open up a bottle of vodka and have a nightcap before bed lol IP: Logged
