Our old thread was locked due to all the BS. This is a fresh start, so let's try to make this an information based thread. I'm sure a lot of new people are finding their way here every day.

Lots of LOVE,

Agreed...

Qbid away!

Where is the Stoned Pigeon??? Where would a stoned pigeon go in the first place???

As far as Qbid is concerend I would imagine a PR tomorrow or Thursday. I think they may want to play it safe with the dates. If it expires the 22nd does that mean we can release on the 22nd too? Or do we wait until the 23rd???

Now lets guess who releases the PR, Deveney or Q-Television...

When was Deveney's last PR?

-John

Back in the spring, Thursday did seem to be the day for releases. However, I'm still thinking about a post from last week. Is it better to hold off for a BIG release or would there be more impact to have a series of updates?

Here is a recent PR of interest:

Wall Street Tunes into Q Television Network

Successful Industry Launch Generates Interest from Carriers, Advertisers and Investment Leaders

PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 2004--In BW5201 issued June 3, 2004: Dateline of release should read: PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (sted PALM SPRINGS, Fla.).

Q Television Network (Pink Sheets: QBID - News) announces details surrounding the results of its industry launch, which began June 1.

Within the first day of the network's availability on Intelsat America's 7, 129 degrees West, Channel 1, Q Television received considerable response from potential carriers and advertisers seeking more information regarding the network and its anticipated public launch.

As a result, network executives will travel to New York City June 6 - 11 to meet with private equity funds, hedge funds and securities dealers. All of these firms have indicated a strong interest in the upcoming launch and the opportunity for equity participation.

In addition, the executives also have appointments scheduled with cable companies and advertisers to present the current direction of Q Television Network.

"We anticipated that the soft launch would generate lots of inquiries regarding the availability of Q Television for carriage and advertising," notes president Frank Olsen. "Yet we were amazed how quickly everything has moved forward within the past 24 hours."

The network expects to announce major contracts within the coming weeks.

About Q Television Network

This television network was organized to create and develop a network devoted to providing television programming for the gay and lesbian community. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming will be available on a subscription basis to those desiring its programming. The network will broadcast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

Safe Harbor Statement

As a cautionary note to investors, certain matters discussed in this press release may be forward-looking statements within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Such matters involve risks and uncertainties that may cause actual results to differ materially, including the following: changes in economic conditions; general competitive factors; the television network's ability to execute its business model and strategic plans; and the risks described from time to time in the company's Securities and Exchange Commission filings.

For more information regarding carriage and advertising opportunities, contact the network at 760-323-4455.

Nice new server, noticed some new functions.

Is it safe to say that all we really have to do is launch. I mean, the trouble we are all talking about with bashers and pumpers, paid and/or unpaid, is really moot until we find out for sure that we are a television snetwork that is broadcasting with subscribers and advertisers or not!

Here are a couple recent Hotline Updates:
(Courtesy of 1 Big Tip)

JUNE 10 UPDATE 48 seconds (est.)

"Hi, Thank you for calling the Q Television Network Hotline.

The following message was dictated from New York, by Frank Olsen, the CEO:

We've had a great week with regard to finance, advertising,
and carriage. There will be a press release announcing general and concrete information about new programming and projection dates on Tuesday, June 15th, and our main
advertising campaign will start on June 21st.

During the rest of this week executives have appointments in Connecticut, Washington, and other States. On Friday,
June 11, the office will close early in observance of Reagan's funeral.

Thank you for your support, your cooperation, and your faith in us. We are confident you're going to be very proud of the final product.

Have a great weekend, and we'll talk to you again very soon."

June 21, 2004 UPDATE 40 sec.(est.)

Hi thank you for calling the qtelevision network hotline.

Our executives are out of town on business. But here are some highlights of the week ahead.

Steven Grunberg our head of programming has signed a carriage agreement with a major cable company. Details on this will be provided later this week and there will be a formal joint press release. We're also focusing on creating adsvertising campaignes for our roll out.

We'll be dividing our efforts and will place ads in local, national gay & trade publications so look for these to be appearing soon.

We'll have another update for you in the very near future. Thank you for calling.

I wonder how many people can't find the new domain. The message said to click on the symbol (or something like that) above to get to the new domain. At first I clicked on the banner ad. Some may just do that and then give up. Because the Allstocks sign is off to the left.

Same as I always do. Still holding my 1 mil. Up or down - doesn't matter since I don't swing trade it.

Actually, I didn't nap or dig.. I went shopping and upgraded to a higher model. Sheesh, I'll do anything to get out of digging this hole!

P.S. Booty, I'm glad you're back in! We missed ya'!

Welcome Rivercity!

Stay focused with your eyes on the goal. Public broadcasting will in all likelyhood occur in the next month which will be a great accomplishment in & of itself & might even cause a generous spike. However I see this as an event that merely opens the door to the real rewards to come. Broadcasting National TV Networks do not trade for less than a dollar a share. There's a reason for that.

i officially decided to hold all my shares until february next year. not only will i only have to pay 15% tax but if we launch and the "dollar theory" is true, then it's worth the wait. i do believe this network will be the talk of the town, once it airs. i think we're looking at 10-15 cents a share by christmas. i guess my penny dream has turned into investment. if only cmkx could find more diamonds...come on baby.

the title of the ad is
Consumer Watch:

The AD on the top of the page is about
General Motors Recall

The ad on the bottom of the page is about
Kodak Picture Maker:

The ad in the middle
Homosexual TV....
A new cable TV is hitting the airwaves.
The Triangle Television Network will make its debut in the next three months.TTN will
specialize in programming for gays and lesbians.
It's available to about 10,000 cable tv companies for $2 a month. Time Warner Cable Television has agreed to make the signal available to any of tis local subscribers.
Programming will include taped gay athletic contests and fasionshows.

It was in an insert not in the magazine....

anyone know why they would advertise in the fortune magazine? I would have thought that they would be looking for the gay and lesbian magazine to advertise in. Fortune only really hits the investor market and the investers already know about this stock.

I would check any nationally distributed Gay Magazines to find the advertising. that is the market they are looking for as they are the potential customers. and that is what they need to get off the ground. The investors are already watching this thing.
