Abstract: MTV Networks finally took the wraps off its long-anticipated gay and lesbian-aimed, ad-supported network last week, targeting a Feb. 17, 2005, launch date for Logo. But there could be a rush of distribution news in the largely untapped TV genre — one that’s setting its sights on an audience of some 15 million Americans, who wield an estimated annual buying power of $450 billion R...

Great information. I hope everyone that finds new sites will take the time to e-mail the contacts a letter of information about Q Television Network. Just takes a minute to inform people about QTN. The more that know the more that might look into and buy. The better for us shareholders. Great work.

Hello Salvia123,
No offense but some of our fellow investors are in the red right now. Not just a few % points ... some are down much more than that.
Keep in mind just a few weeks back we were trading at near $.03 We may only be one amazing PR away from that price but just wanted to at least acknowledge the folks out there who have only seen the price fall from where they have bought it. Not everyone who sells at this price walks away with a small proffit.

I've noticed many doubting QBID when it is on the brink of announcing a launch date, major carriers, etc. For the longs, nervous investors, and newbies, there are many out there who wish to see QBID PPS go down, they may have sold and wish to get back in at a lower price and deep down they know this is going to fly soon. MMs will be looking to keep the price down to accumulate shares before major announcements and upcoming runs, MMs probably post on stock boards too. The past week or two has been a subtle walkdown, the MMs aren't allowing this to run up on the rumor of carriage announcements. Without the walkdown they wouldn't be able to accumulate low priced shares at the current levels. This is a subtle change in trend. Q is on track, I have been given no hard evidence that would make me believe otherwise. Let the bashers and the MMs try to get me to sell I'm not budging even if this thing drops to .005 because it will be back up as long as there's no bad news. Always do your DD. IMHO and GLTA holding long.

Stocks often go down before they go up. In my experience (just a couple of years in stocks), a surge in negative posts usually occurs before a sharp climb. I'll leave the chart reading to you pros. Several months--maybe weeks from now, I think that QBID will be seen as a rare opportunity. I'm so glad that I have had this opportunity. This board brought my attention to QBID. Again, thank you to all who dig for info, post accurate information and willingly share your knowledge of trading penny stocks. You deserve your rewards.

I E-MAIL QBID INFORMATION TO ALL THE SITE I FIND ON THIS BOARD AND OTHERS. I BELIEVE GETTING INFORMATION OUT THERE HELPS INFORM THE PUBLIC AND WILL DRIVE UP PPS.
IMHO-MARKET MAKERS ARE GOING TO MOVE THIS DOWN AS FAR AS POSIBLE TO BE READY FOR THE STRONG MOVE. IF QBID DID NOT HAVE SUCH STRONG HOLDERS IT WOULD HAVE GONE MUCH LOWER. PEOPLE ARE BEING REACHED AND THE WORK WE DO ONLY HELPS QBID AND OUR POCKET BOOK. LOL IF EVERYONE WOULD JUST SEND OUT 10 INFORMATIONAL LETTERS A DAY TO INFORM ABOUT QBID--THINK OF THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WE COULD REACH AND INFORM? AMAZING THE POWER OF THE INTENET.
FOUND THESE SITES OF INFORMATION ON OTHER BOARDS AND SENT THEM E-MAILS ABOUT Q TELEVISION NETWORK.
PLEASE HELP DO THE SAME.
Seattle Pride festival is this weekend..... seattlepride.org

REMEMBER THIS PR?? HMMMMM, TIME WARNER. HEY GUYS, IT DOES TAKE MONTHS TO PUT PLANS TOGETHER, DOESN'T HAPPEN OVERNIGHT!
PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Feb 19, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- During a question and answer session between Frank Olsen, CEO of Triangle Multimedia, Inc. and a group of investors, Mr. Olsen was quoted in the following conversation: "I will try to cover as many topics I can from the calls I have received about the functions and goals of the company. "First, we are expected to have a test run on-air beginning in two months to run indefinitely. By a test run I mean we will be broadcasting on satellite a signal for our sales crew to approach advertisers and cable and satellite providers with. You must understand that we are building a network that will be on the air 24/7 and it is our goal to deliver a polished, consistent product with longevity. A few movies and a sitcom don't make a network.
"I get constant questions regarding our contract with the Time-Warner Cable Systems. Our ten-year contract enables us to place our signal throughout the Time-Warner system on a market-by-market basis. After we meet their strict broadcast standards we expect to be throughout their system in the months to come.

We are moving on down on this board. I haven't been here in a fews weeks due to work but am back and waiting for the launch.
Anybody have thoughts about this next PR. I live on the east coast and called my friend over at Cablevision and he says that they won't carry Q but have heard about it. This should be a good sign.

I think the last Hot Line update said that Frank would be back in the office today. However, discussions were continuing in New York. My guess--tomorrow at the earliest. I just bought more.

Frank Olsen, our CEO, will be back in the office tomorrow. In the meantime, he has provided the following update:
Scott Seger, our Vice-president of advertising and John Daveny of Daveny Communications, our public relations firm, are representing us at the National Lesbian and Gay Journalist Association Annual Convention in New York today and tomorrow. During this time, they will meet with individual press publications.
Also, Barbara Lamont of Network Teleports, our satellite company, is attempting to set up a meeting privately with Dan Rather, who is a guest speaker at the convention.
We have reserved space in four major publications. What we actually say in these ads depends on how many signed contracts have been returned to us by the time of the advertising deadlines, and also what free coverage we get from the press at the Gay Journalist Convention.
Our next target is to inform you of our carriage companies and detailed information on our programming.
1. QTV is moving to a 8 hour program cycle starting July 1 with a launch release coming next week and "you'll be very happy"; 2. Included in the release will be the carriers they have signed so far; 3. They have hired someone from Ted Turner's company to help the ongoing effort to increase carriage; they view the TW contract as A "hunting license" to work on signing as many of those TW stations as possible, which will occur over time due to the nature of the decision process 4. For QTV to obtain carriage contracts, QTV is required to guarantee a certain amount of revenues, and QTV gets its share of the revenue base that actually develops. Frank has been using his personal assets to support those guarantees, with personal loans now over $15 Million; 5. There has been no dilution of shareholder stock and there will be no reverse split. 6. The business model expects to develop view base over time, and they feel that 1 million to 3 million viewers or more are definitely possible, but they have a conservative model that would show $7 Million profit/yr on a view base of only 250,000, plus attract $5 Million in advertising, as you need to have a conservative plan. They are not limiting themselves to this base but development of viewers takes time and programing, and they have models that look out over several years to get the full carriage and view base. Ratings will come in later in the game after they have obtained enough viewers. 7. Operational costs should be near $30 Million per year; 8. They will have 1 hour of news, per day as part of their live programing 9. They are avoiding "talking heads" Opra formats, but may have some of that on Sunday. 10. 25% will be original programing, and they are going to feature new cities on a regular basis as part of their original programing
