IV: Next up is the "Cease and Desist Order," showing Canady Holdings at "last known address" as the same Peachtree number, same suite.
So here's Canady, Cason, and Sakli at 400 Galleria in Atlanta (HSWF); then Canady again, back at Peachtree, also Atlanta.
(Assumption: This may be to keep HSWF at arm's length from Canady Holdings: presumably the nonprofit will file--or already has filed--for 501-3c status. To Do: check 501-3c filings).
So far: Canady Holdings and first HSWF trustee at Peachtree address.
(also now have : "J. Boykin" in Chicago, "J. Teng" in Kansas City [MO, not KS]; "L. Young" in Grandview [also], MO. )
Teng and Young--common business address in KC, MO...
OK, here's where I left it...
V. looks like the State of Missouri is convinced Canady (Holdings), Teng, Boykin and Young worked together to pull a fast one on the so-called MR1 and MR2...
basically, it looks like MR1 made about $500--as opposed to the "promised" $11,000--while MR2 appears to be ripped for $1,600.
Meanwhile, says the state: "Boykin received $4,000 and Young received $6,000 in commissions as a result of the investors’ first payout."
Pretty slick...
the picture the state's evidence seems to be painting is *not* the typical dumb criminal...notice MR1 actually made some dough--if I'm reading correctly (and not bad dough, either)--it will be very tough to convict on MR1's case. ("WHAT? You gave 'em a grand or so and got back $1,600?--in a matter of weeks!")
If I were Boykin/Young? I would give MR2 the $1600, from our 10k...
The picture I'm getting is that of a sophisticated group (have mentioned before am impressed with the apparent level of planning) who are versed in the law, know the "edges," and are quite focused on using other folks' capital instead of their own.
Put it this way: If I wanted to borrow a grand that would make *me* 10 grand, "but I'll you pay back"....would you lend it to me? Maybe...
If I told you, "Invest your grand, get 11 grand" then I gave you $500 and walked away with $10,000... then what?
Am *not* saying the math is that simple...but I do believe we are seeing an escalation in sophistication in using other other's funds without truthful disclosure...
yup...pretty slick

Very slick. Classic Ponzi Scam. Quite common for Ponzi crooks to use new scam money to pay early scam victims to create an appearance of a legitimate deal. Those early victims perform as walking advertisment, "Helen! Look, we made money! Let's go tell Ozzie and Harriet!"
Appears these crooks were caught about halfway through their scam.
Readers are again cautioned to research, read and learn about civil litigation of this type rather than be misled by armchair lawyers.

There is no trial. Darn it. Research and read.
This is a state securities commission action, not a trial. This might lead to civil litigation, if Canady and others do not cooperate. Might even lead to a criminal trial, far down the road, if Canady and others fight this.
One thing is absolutely certain. A securities commission investigation which announces results of this type, is _always_ right.
Readers will not find a single instance of any securities commission, state or federal, ever performing a turn-about, "opps, we were wrong."
Darn it, play it straight with readers. I do not like these ego games, not one bit.
Example, there is no right to face your accuser in civil litigation. Plaintiff and defendent do not even need to attend civil litigation. Suits of this sort are decided upon factual information and have nothing to do with criminal proceedings, heck, you only need a jury majority opinion for civil litigation.
Right to face your accuser! I suppose this means Enron's constitutional rights were violated because they could not cross exam all tens of thousands of complaining parties during civil proceedings. Boy Howdy, that is a lot of Bible swearing! Should not take more than a decade to accomplish this.
Play it straight with readers. Knock off the armchair lawyer games.
seems as though I recall you picking apart plenty of filings and peeps' statements...
of course, not mine, lol... I get that: tough row to hoe, there
rude n nasty? lol, we'll all done it. Although, I must say, I enjoy this move toward an even less nasty, less rude board. It eventually will place us up an even higher notch over other boards than we previously earned and enjoyed...all for the better, imo...
less nasty, less rude...more focused

Martha Stewart is not a cry baby, Bill Gates is not a cry baby and Hettie Green certainly was not a cry baby!
Chief Sitting Bull was not a cry baby. Colonel Custer, though, was a cry baby and he ended up looking like a feathered porcupine.
What all those people have in common, except that egotistical idiot, Custer, what those people have in common is they are tough as steel and even colder, and always stand their ground.
Oh! Let's play patty cakes and make big bucks!
Huh uh. Gotta play this game straight and tough.
Problem is, we are surrounded by childish twerps who brag of being the best stock traders ever despite only having maybe a year's experience.
They annoy me to no end.

"After the battle, the Indians came through and stripped the bodies and mutilated all the uniformed soldiers, believing that the soul of a mutilated body would be forced to walk the earth for all eternity and could not ascend to heaven.
Inexplicably, they stripped Custer's body and cleaned it, but did not scalp or mutilate it. He had been wearing buckskins instead of a blue uniform, and some believe that the Indians thought he was not a soldier and so, thinking he was an innocent, left him alone."

"ever it shall be, on a board this size, eh?"
Yes, most annoying.
Those of us who are seasoned traders spend too much of our time working at protecting readers from all the mule manure being slung around rather than simply helping others to make money.
Greatest problem is participants are so arrogant to believe they are never wrong, ignoring those who deliberately lie. Darn it, a little research is all that is needed to be sure of being right.
My habit is to research and verify my notions as correct before ever going public, just like you do, Tex, before you write a newspaper item.
Your research today, which you share with readers, is an excellent example of investing a little time and effort into learning, and, more important, investing a little time and effort into being sure you are right.
Yep, Custer is stoopid and I sometimes think we are stoopid for giving so much of our personal time to help readers make profits, a help which is very rarely appreciated, more often, a help which earns ridicule, insult and trouble.
Number one problem, masculine ego.
That should garner complaints and have me banished again!
today, i did little actual research, other than following/retracing leads...good leads, btw
one little bit I did indicates more phone numbers at that Peachway bldg than actually show up in reverse search... *usually* (not always) I can find neighbors, links etc...
anyway...tomorrow's another day--who knows what the next play will bring?
Me? will study these guys for awhile, regardless...

Most of the seasoned traders do help folks to make money. You are the only one I really see "ranting and raving" on and on and on telling folk how stooped they are for not DD'ing to "your" standard. Alot of us just really don't care and are willing to ride a "scam" if be it what you call it. That is why we ignore your post as you ask. But then get ridiculed for that.......
Most folks aren't near as arrogant as the personality you play at the computer. Many times we learn new things along the way about a stock that may be hard to "accept" and will or could change our minds in the end decision. Folks take care of their money as well as they can and if they can't then they don't play the game.
"Yep, Custer is stoopid and I sometimes think we are stoopid for giving so much of our personal time to help readers make profits, a help which is very rarely appreciated, more often, a help which earns ridicule, insult and trouble." Then don't. I've told many folks here on Allstocks thank you for the DD and suggestions as they have helped tremendously in my college education and future planned goals.
"Number one problem, masculine ego." Obviously its not just testosterone causing problems around town.....
"That should garner complaints and have me banished again!" You are so extreme at times....
