About Somatic Systems, Inc.
Somatic Systems is the worldwide center for Clinical Somatics(TM), the ground-breaking drug-free, non-surgical approach to pain relief. This proprietary system uses natural, non-invasive movement techniques -- conducted through one-hour hands-on sessions, therapeutic exercise classes, and home exercises lasting as little as 5 minutes a day -- to relieve pain and limitation resulting from accident, trauma and repetitive stress, including back pain, knee pain, joint problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, scoliosis, bursitis, sciatica, headaches, tendonitis and more. Clinical Somatics(TM) also provides performance gains and injury prevention for casual and professional athletes.
Somatic Systems is pursuing a 3-part growth strategy, consisting of a nationwide rollout of pain management Somatics Clinics; increased production and distribution of therapeutic videos, books, and other retail self-help Somatics Products; and expanded Somatics Training Programs to supply Clinic practitioners serving medical and orthopedic professionals and institutional and corporate programs. The company operates a suite of web sites offering Somatics information, products, resources, and opportunities, at www.somatics.org.

Sorry it took a few days to get back to you. We are slammed with growth projects this past few weeks. Regarding news, I'm working on getting the TV show dates; I've been playing a bit of phone tag with the producers this week. I'm not sure I'll have an answer before the holiday, we'll see.

--email from the ceo this morning------------Bob,
The only remaining costs associated with the Television spots are less than $14,000. Remember the result of all this is that the television spots will air nationally on WE tv and the Travel Channel, and on local stations nationwide at least 48 other times (when I spoke with the producers last week, they told me there's a chance the networks would pick it up for additional airings, at no additional cost to Somatic Systems). Also remember that these expenditures have bought us a license for the content ourselves, so we can re-broadcast it as we wish, indefinitely.
I think this is providing us with tremendous value, not only as it is broadcast over the next year, but also over the next FEW years as we grow: We are just becoming a presence in the public's consciousness, and there will almost certainly be higher and higher profile media coverage of Somatics in the years to come... In the meantime, and as additional coverage starts to grow, this television spot will likely continue to be a useful program -- for consumers to get quick but impressive information about us, and to provide additional and broad-based familiarity, credibility, and
"position" of Somatics as we expand in mainstream awareness and reputation.

Somatic Systems Announces Additional Coverage for Television Show Broadcasts 12:36p ET December 28, 2007 (Market Wire) Somatic Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SMAS) announced today that additional filming will be conducted for their upcoming national television show featuring the company and its proprietary Clinical Somatics pain relief system and training programs. Final filming will conclude in January, and include some exciting features, such as practitioners who use Clinical Somatics in physical therapy settings, in place of conventional physical therapy techniques, to achieve dramatically better results for their patients.
The television program, "Health Forum," will air nationally on the Women's Entertainment television network (WE tv) and the Travel Channel, as well as in syndication locally in 48 other television markets throughout the country. Somatic Systems' segment will focus on educating the general public about the company's proprietary Clinical Somatics pain management system. Especially pertinent in the era of rapidly rising health care costs, this groundbreaking program will teach viewers how to achieve lasting muscle pain relief without surgery or dependence on medication. The television segment will increase exposure for Somatic Systems among a significantly larger, more mainstream audience.
Additional filming encountered minor delays due to weather and scheduling conflicts. However, upon completion in January, broadcast of the show will begin approximately 8 weeks later. Air dates will continue throughout the year, and the company will announce show times as they are scheduled. In addition to the 50 guaranteed airings, networks may pick up the television segment on Somatic Systems for additional broadcasts. Additionally, the company plans to make portions of the program available on their web site, www.somatics.org.
"We are excited about the pending completion and release of this television series," stated CEO Steven Aronstein. "In 2008, Somatic Systems begins aggressively enhanced marketing and consumer awareness campaigns. Timing is everything, and consumer awareness tends to grow best through coordinated waves of exposure across many markets and media formats. The 2008 broadcasts of the television segments will provide perfectly timed synergy for our expansion in the year to come and beyond."

Great point, Homer. SMAS was my biggest mistake. A stock with huge O/S is very hard to move, and has great chance to get R/S; DDSI was a typical example. I will stay with small floaters. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posts: 2776 | From: Michigan | Registered: Aug 2005 | IP: Logged | JimSC Member
Member Rated: posted November 12, 2007 06:41 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SMAS is a great company with real business. However, they need more funds to expand their projects. More dilutions and R/S are expected. Check the thread of UCOI. It's the same situation 4 months ago. Just stay away from stocks with huge O/S. The best you can do is to get in at 0.0001 and get out at 0.0002, while you are waiting for the coming R/S. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posts: 2776 | From: Michigan | Registered: Aug 2005 | IP: Logged |

Spoke with CEO yesterday around 6:00 pm his time. He said that he talked with tv folks yesterday regarding the smas logo (they called) and that he expected them to start airing this month. When I asked about exaxct dates he said that he wasn't sure. The TV folks completed everything a while ago and then they submit to the networks and the networks fit them into the desired rotation related to the geographic areas SMAS selected (viewing audiences). Based on this the tv shows could start airing at any time.
He said that back in January they had signed a contract (has to do with links to investment banks) with a major funding source related to the debt loan process he has been working on. He said that they had spent 6 six months working the deal and now that they signed it is going to be another six months of ongoing paper work to finalize everything. This will allow him to close out the 504 process so he will not need to sell shares for fund raising. He said this money will allow him to open at least two more needed offices with one possibly being in California.
According to him, this is what they have been focussing all of their energy and time on. My take is that he is confident that the shows will air when they air (soon) so he is not worried about them (even though a PR would help investor confidence).
He also said that this new deal could result in some celebrity endorsements of SMAS since the folks he signed with represent certain celebrities(in some working fashion). I have another question that I forgot to ask so I'm going to try and call again today. I'll let you know.
He will PR the new partner info has soon as some of the paperwork process has been completed (it would be a few weeks)

the ceo said I could post it--here it is---------------------------------Bob,
Nothing bad is on the way! I don't know why we're not showing up on StockCharts.com, although I do vaguely remember a time last Fall when we were on the StockCharts.com and then I think one day a staffer looked us up on there and were gone. I think when a stock is trading at low volume for a while, their system may automatically kick it out;
if that's true, I'm sure you'll see us there again soon.
I don't know why they separated your recently purchased shares from your old ones. There is NO reverse split currently in the works, and none planned.
We only have good things coming. I just saw a preview of our TV segment, and it looks great! We of course get nitpicky about it, but the few people outside the office I was able to show it to thought it was nicely done. It's not 60 Minutes or anything like that, but it's professional, easy to watch, and does a decent job of presenting Somatics in a positive and attractive manner. I am very excited to start seeing this on TV for the rest of the year.
As I've said to the few shareholders I've had time to speak with, we have been EXTREMELY busy since the start of the year. Our focus is on
some big strategic projects that will bring more attention and revenue
into the company in the year and more to come. As a small company that is simultaneously running 2 training programs, recruiting and preparing for a third and fourth, along with all our other normal operations, we are very busy right now, and all of my time is occupied
with these new exciting ventures on the horizon. I am working even longer days, and I am even less available than usual.
We heard some concerns about our website being down. It was down last
night for about an hour, as we upgraded one of our main servers. That
same server may be down for another hour or two later this evening. This is part of one of the many backend things we are continuing to do
grow (the boring under-the-hood fundamentals stuff...which is often what makes a company's success): You may notice that our site is now running about 2-5 times faster than it was, with a few new little features as well (such as integration with social networking sites for
greater promotion of somatics).
Our site is very rich with information, and provides fairly elaborate services to our practitioners and staff. That often means a lot of room for improvement. So, this weekend, the downtime was also about making some improvements in the functionality of the site, with less bugs. This morning, our phones were down for about 35 minutes as well. This was part of the upgrading process -- with some improvements that will make our network more reliable, and today we added a whole additional layer of security for customer data and transactions. Tonight, the 1-2 hour downtime will be to prepare our web site for its upgrade to an even faster and smoother version of our
web server software later this month.
That's all I can say for now, as I am off to another meeting, with a PR firm. I will gradually become a bit more available as all these new developments take shape, and we _will_ release news on all of our projects as they launch. Thanks again for the support and faith you place in our company. We look forward to a very exciting year ahead.
