Google Exec Says Traditional TV Is Close to Dead and 63% of Broadband Users Watch TV or Movies Online as Wi-Fi TV Prepares for New Web Site Launch
Tuesday July 31, 10:08 am ET

NEWPORT BEACH, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jul 31, 2007 -- Wi-Fi TV Inc. (Other OTC:WTVI.PK - News) will be giving the public a complete overview of its new web site design, content and features in a live webcast on August 8 (www.Wi-FiTV.com, the program will also be available for later on-demand viewing). The new site will launch globally before the end of August. Meanwhile, the dynamics of TV and the Internet are rapidly changing.

"With his opening keynote at iTV Con, a trade conference dedicated to Internet television, Google's head of boob tube technology Vincent Dureau told industry players and reporters that traditional television is pretty close to dead. Of course, he's confident that the latest internet technologies can drive a new breed of TV to unprecedented heights," according to a July 17, 2007 story in the San Jose Mercury News.

"On the surface, television as we know it looks dead. But the future of television is actually pretty bright," Mr. Dureau said, dabbling in paradox.

If the audience is more fragmented, he explained, it's easier for advertisers to reach the people they're after. "Audience fragmentation is a good thing for advertising, not a bad thing. You can make your audience more specialized," Dureau said. "With more specialized channels, you can actually insert more relevant content that's more likely to reach the intended audience."

"You can actually make more money, because you can increase the relevancy of your ads," he continued. "You can cut down on the number of ads -- and still reach more people. At the end of the day, you're changing the attitude of the consumer. They've reached a point where they expect the ad to be relevant and they're more likely to watch it."

Wi-Fi TV, which has pioneered in the delivery of interactive live TV over the Internet, is allowing users to select stations from Topic listings such as Music, Spanish language, Politics, News, Religion, and Automobiles. Wi-Fi TV, with the introduction of its third generation Social Internet TV (TM) web site, is allowing advertisers to target both online video and banner ads to specific programming and user demographics.

63% of broadband users watch TV or movies online, according to a new survey (July 17, 2007) that shows that more and more broadband users are watching streaming media online. According to the study from Nielsen, 81 million of the 129 million broadband users watched TV or movies online. This is a 16% increase in just the last 6 months. According to Broadcasting & Cable, "the study found that broadband viewing does not replace traditional television viewing, giving TV viewing a net audience gain, which is good news for networks."

"The time is right for the new Wi-Fi TV. We look forward to giving the public a detailed introduction to the next generation of Social Internet TV on our August 8 webcast, and putting Wi-Fi TV in Internet and business forums in areas ranging from the Untied States, China, Germany, England and elsewhere in 2007," stated Joe Soto, Global Vice President, Wi-Fi TV Inc.

NEWS
"Wi-Fi TV Enlists Members to Grow Website in August as New Website Launches, iPhoneWi-FiTV Expands and Wi-Fi TV Enters China
9:15a ET August 1, 2007 (Market Wire)

August 2007 is shaping up as the biggest month in Wi-Fi TV Inc.'s (PINKSHEETS: WTVI) 12-year history, as the company introduces a new multimillion dollar website (www.Wi-FiTV.com), an expanded and world exclusive site where movies can be streamed for free to the iPhone (www.iPhoneWi-FiTV.com), and does its first ever promotion in China with the founder speaking at iHollywoodChina.

Wi-Fi TV(TM), which is a relatively unknown company, is asking its loyal members and shareholder base to help spread the word about Wi-Fi TV. The company is previewing its all new Social Internet TV(TM) web site in a live webcast on August 8 (www.Wi-FiTV.com, home page).

"We are asking our global Internet users and shareholders to let the world know about Wi-Fi TV. If we work together we can let the world discover Wi-Fi TV, and build a much bigger community that shares the goal of bringing the world into one interactive environment with live video, chat, calls, and text messaging," said Joe Soto, Global Vice President.

"From design to content to technology, we are ready to show the world what Wi-Fi TV has to offer with our new website, but we need viral marketing from our early adopters to help the Wi-Fi TV dream of a universally seen global community take hold on the Internet. We need to use the vision of Wi-Fi TV to surpass the barriers that always greet something new and challenging, and on Wednesday, August 8 our live and archived web casts will show everyone what makes the new Wi-Fi TV unique on the Internet," Mr. Soto added.

"We know that revenue from station sales and ad sales are what builds our company, and that traffic helps drive the value of those sales. In August, we are delivering a product that warrants those attributes, and we have a great team to deliver on the product potential," Mr. Soto added.

"We also know that word of mouth is the best advertisement we can have, and the Internet can create history on its own terms. That is why we are looking for members that believe in Wi-Fi TV to put out the word about the website and be part of its growth. Its time, in the words of Ted Turner, to lead, follow or get out of the way," Mr. Soto concluded

Wi-Fi TV Webcast From Beijing Is Part of iHollywood China, the First Foreign Conference to Partner With the Chinese Government to Co-Produce Digital Media
Monday August 27, 9:15 am ET

Wi-Fi TV Founder Speaks to Beijing Audience as One-of-a-Kind Forum Opens China's Media Market to Digital Media Companies

BEIJING--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 27, 2007 -- Wi-Fi TV Inc. (Other OTC:WTVI.PK - News) launched Social Internet TV(TM) in Beijing with Founder and Chairman Alex Kanakaris making several appearances before Chinese media and the public, including a webcast now online at the home page of www.Wi-FiTV.com. Wi-Fi TV was a part of the iHollywoodChina Forum and also had a display at BIRTV. iHollywood China made history as the first foreign company to co-produce a daylong digital media conference with the Chinese government and China's largest television broadcaster, CCTV.

Mr. Kanakaris was a key speaker at iHollywoodForum and introduced an interactive TV web site to the Chinese audience. Mr. Kanakaris reached out for Chinese-based partnerships and linked the concept of Wi-Fi TV to the One World, One Dream theme of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Representatives of Wi-Fi TV visited the Great Wall of China and met privately with Chinese business leaders.

Mr. Kanakaris thanked the iHollywoodChina Forum for "an unprecedented chance to bring the vision of Wi-Fi TV to the heart of China so we can be part of the historic and positive growth of global communication and interaction with the people of China. There is no bigger market in the world than China for technologically advanced next generation use of the Internet for positive purposes."

"This is a rare opportunity where the Chinese government will allow key Hollywood players to come face-to-face with Chinese officials and investors to develop exclusive digital media deals in China," said Michael Stroud, whose company, iHollywood Forum, has produced key digital media conferences since 2000. "With nearly 500 million mobile users and 97 million broadband users, China is potentially the world's biggest digital media market. We are the only digital media company who can provide this unprecedented access within the Chinese market," Mr. Stroud added.

On August 22, 2007, iHollywood China's one-day forum was kicked-off with opening remarks by iHollywood China and iHollywood Forum co-founder/CEO Michael Stroud, and was immediately followed by six digital media panel discussions, including China's IPTV Rollout, China & the Olympics and other pertinent topics. The daylong program closed with a VIP gala dinner for attendees.

iHollywood China connected top Hollywood and international technology executives with Chinese government officials, regulators and operators who are shaping the future of new media technologies in China.

In addition, as part of its affiliation with iHollywoodChina, Wi-Fi TV exhibited at BIRTV (Beijing International Radio, TV and Film Exhibition), the largest television and digital media trade show in China.

Chinese companies in attendance represented the entire range of emerging media in China, including IPTV, satellite television, pay television, broadband content and hardware, and mobile content. With just a year until the 2008 Beijing Olympics, foreign companies will have an unprecedented opportunity to showcase their cutting-edge content to the key Chinese officials overseeing the 2008 games.

Wasn't this on the R/S repeat offender list?
If so, a mucho RED FLAG to AVOID.

all sounds good on paper, but they are probably ready for their annual R/S. watch out. They have already done a R/S 4 times. Not a good track record. Every time a penny stock does a reverse split, the stock goes back down to .0001 and you lose all your money.

It is what it is

Wi-Fi TV Inc. has reached an agreement with a third party to obtain the listing of its stock on the Frankfurt Exchange and anticipates paying costs associated with the listing within fourteen days and being listed within sixty days.
