Hunt will serve that as the network's Managing Editor of News content for MMA coverage across all company distribution platforms of television, radio, mobile and web under The Fight Network brand.
"Loretta is a wonderful addition to our team," said Mike Garrow, president of The Fight Network. "Her strong journalistic sense coupled with the trust factor she has earned over the past number of years covering the evolution of the sport with all fighters, promoters, officials and commissions, makes Loretta a very competent person to oversee this department in our eyes," he added.
Hunt has been covering the sport of mixed martial arts for the past six years, her most recent post had been with the newspaper and Web site Full Contact Fighter, where she served as the Assistant Editor and Lead Writer for five years. "This is an amazing opportunity that I have been presented with," said Hunt. "When I look back on how the sport of mixed martial arts has grown so much in the last few years, where we now have a service like The Fight Network, that can not only showcase MMA events on a 24-hour basis but will cover it from a news standpoint like no other mainstream media outlet has done before -- let's just say this is very exciting and I look forward to the role ahead."

TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/27/06 -- Blackout Media Corp's (PINKSHEETS: BKMP) The Fight Network™, North America's first and only twenty-four (24) hour combatant sports and entertainment channel, announced today that it has acquired the Canadian broadcast rights to Versus's "Fight Night" boxing series. Versus is the new name of the American version of the Outdoor Life Network or ("OLN").
"Fight Night" is a twice-monthly night of boxing action -- promoted exclusively by Bob Arum's Top Rank -- featuring the best in today's rising superstars of boxing, as well as full retrospectives of classic battles from the past, featuring greats like Ali, Frazier, Foreman and Duran.
"We're absolutely thrilled to be able to showcase top-notch programming like Versus's 'Fight Night' to our audience here in Canada," said Brian Sobie, VP of Programming for The Fight Network.
"It's so rare to be able to feature terrific young fighters in compelling match-ups, and pristine classic footage from the past in one offering. We're very excited about this deal."
Versus's "Fight Night" is actually two shows in one package and The Fight Network will be simulcasting both "Fight Night Live" and "Legends of the Ring" live at 9:00 PM Eastern every Thursday night beginning September 28th.
"Fight Night Live," hosted by seasoned play-by-play man Bob Papa and color commentator Wallace Matthews, features today's top fighters -- like Brian "The Hawaiian Punch" Villoria, Kid Diamond and Carlos "Famoso" Hernandez -- in tough, compelling live match-ups.
"Fight Night: Top Rank's Legends of the Ring," hosted by Michael Buffer, gives fight fans the chance to enjoy classic battles, and hidden gems, from Top Rank's vast fight archive.
Buried treasures such as Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier II, Muhammad Ali vs. Ken Norton I, Roberto Duran vs. Davey Moore, and George Foreman vs. Tommy Morrison, are finally unearthed for fight fans to savor and marvel at once again.
"'Fight Night' is really a unique idea in that it offers fight fans of every stripe exactly what they want every month. Whether it's a look at the future movers and shakers in the sport, or the legends that made boxing so great in the first place," said Victoria Quoss, VP of Programming for Verus.
"And we're very happy to have a network like The Fight Network on board to bring this great series into the homes of boxing fans across Canada."

SCWAB I agree that each PR alone means little but all these PRs together are building blocks to something HUGE. If you can't see this you need to take your paper route money elsewhere.

I have reviewed ILCO and BMKP, and found that BKMP is a much better play than ILCO. BKMP made a round trip beteen 0.0004 and 0.0009 several times in the past three months, while ILCO did similar trip only once. The ceo of BKMP has promised to buy back shares, and he did every day. Show me the advantage of ILCO by listing some facts.

TORONTO--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 25, 2006 -- Blackout Media (Other OTC:BKMP.PK - News) announced today that it has completed its purchase of a 20% stake in another new specialty digital network called The Wagering Network - TWN, through Blackout Communications Inc. for an undisclosed amount of stock and cash
http://fightnetwork.at.truition.com/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Year Highlights Friday September 22, 9:15 am ET
We are now available in over 80% of all digital homes in Canada with over 32 different cable, satellite and telco services that now offer The Fight Network."
The Fight Network was listed as the number one digital sports specialty channel in the country according to the Nielsen ratings
The first year's success in Canada has accelerated the company's plans to launch the service into the American market place where interest is gaining momentum. "We have had several meetings with a number of cable, satellite and telco's in the US about The Fight Network and the demand is there. Based on how current things are proceeding I see us being available in the USA sometime next year, which should make quite a few people happy. I know I love it as it finally gives me something to watch 24/7," said Garrow, a self-professed fight fanatic.
Other countries have also contacted Fight Network about launching this service, such as Australia, England, and Panama. Should The Fight Network be successful in becoming available in these markets as well, it will mark the first time in Canadian broadcast history that a Canadian originated digital specialty channel has migrated to other countries outside the great white north.
FIGHT Mobile is available on over 150 million handsets in North America through Fight Network's carrier agreements with Cingular, Sprint, Verizon, and Telus Mobility.
To celebrate the station's first anniversary, The Fight Network will be airing a ninety minute special beginning Friday Sept 22nd at 6pm EST. Schwabie, I hope you and I are right about the .0003. I have a buy order set at .0003 for 40mil shares to flip when it reaches .0009 or better. And yes longs, I do keep 20mil on the sidelines waiting. That's $12,000 turned in $36,000 or more a couple of times a year. Maybe three. Like I said before, just leave it for us flippers.
