Kilerb, this kid doesn't bother me one bit. Everytime I transfer a couple of thousand, profit from BMKP, into my checking accounts I get the last laugh. I have two children already and I don't need to be concerned with more. I'm on a extended vacation from work so sometimes I'm able to be on the computer most of the market day and I've notice this guy posts all throught the day. It's evident he has no life and ,as you said, just gets off on this stuff. I'm a counselor and I see it all the time; low self-esteem and value looking to step on others to feel better. Everytime he posts, I feel sorry for him because he seems to have nothing else going on in his life. God forbid that he's married with children. I feel sorry for Mrs. Schwabie. Must be a lonely woman. If there is one.

(Toronto, ON) September 22, 2006. – If television channels handed out party favours at their first birthday, The Fight Network would be doling out bloody noses and black eyes. To their competition that is. After their first year on the air, The Fight Network’s specialty channel, the cornerstone of the media network of the same name, has surpassed all expectations.
"We’ve achieved some significant milestones in our first year of operations,” said Mike Garrow, President and CSO of the channel. "From day one our goal has been to build The Fight Network into a globally recognized media brand by being "the source” for fight sport events and theme related entertainment across all distribution platforms. I believe we are very much heading in that direction.”
"The first step for us was getting the television channel up and running and we did that last September when we went "Live” on Rogers Cable (Channel 427) and things kept rolling from there. We are now available in over 80% of all digital homes in Canada with over 32 different cable, satellite and telco services that now offer The Fight Network.” The interest in The Fight Network has resonated with consumers so much so that in July of this year The Fight Network was listed as the number one digital sports specialty channel in the country according to the Nielsen ratings.
The reason Garrow believes that the offering is doing so well is simple. "We listen to the fans and try to give them what they want to see. Combat sports have always had great interest in Canada. Whether it’s Pro Wrestling, Boxing or the growing sport of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), we have it all covered. The reason I think our service is connecting with the fans is that we offer a lot of programming that isn’t available anywhere else.”
The first year’s success in Canada has accelerated the company’s plans to launch the service into the American market place where interest is gaining momentum. "We have had several meetings with a number of cable, satellite and telco’s in the US about The Fight Network and the demand is there. Based on how current things are proceeding I see us being available in the USA sometime next year, which should make quite a few people happy. I know I love it as it finally gives me something to watch 24/7” said Garrow, a self-professed fight fanatic.
Other countries have also contacted Fight Network about launching this service, such as Australia, England, and Panama. Should The Fight Network be successful in becoming available in these markets as well, it will mark the first time in Canadian broadcast history that a Canadian originated digital specialty channel has migrated to other countries outside the great white north.
"As many places as we can get in, and in whatever form it needs to be offered in, we will try to be there,” said Garrow. "The fight game has no borders, no language barriers; it truly has a universal appeal.”
One of the ways that so many people have been finding out about the Fight Network is through our website, thefightnetwork.com. Thefightnetwork.com is the fight fan’s best source for news and information and mixed media on Boxing, Wrestling and MMA.
"The web portal and broadband applications are very important to us,” said Garrow. "We are currently working on a new site, which we are planning to roll out in early ‘07 that will expand upon existing content offerings.”
Fight Network’s website also offers broadband radio programming that covers the various sports as seen on the television network, while also supporting a nationally syndicated weekly radio show on terrestrial radio called Live Audio Wrestling (The LAW”).
The LAW attracts both established stars and up and coming talent who come on the show live each week to interact with our hosts and listeners. Notable guests over the years have included Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, Bret Hart, The Rock and Steve Austin.
The show is so popular that it is the number one program for males 18-34 with a 29.0 market share in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) for its time slot according to *BBM. The show has also recently moved to its new home on CFRB 1010 NewsTalk, the biggest talk radio station in Canada.
With the proliferation of information across all mediums, the Fight Network has expanded its fight coverage with its own wireless service called FIGHT Mobile. FIGHT Mobile allows consumers to stay connected to the fight game 24/7 anywhere. FIGHT MOBILE offers breaking news stories, editorials, photos, videos and live round- by- round event coverage for all major fight events. From boxing, to wrestling and mixed martial arts, fans get it all! You can also get training tips from the pros and see the hottest ring girls around. FIGHT Mobile is available on over 150 million handsets in North America through Fight Network’s carrier agreements with Cingular, Sprint, Verizon, and Telus Mobility.
"These platforms are exploding. There is huge demand for the combat sports content we have been able to aggregate,” Garrow said, adding, "we are well positioned to service this growing market.”
Other business areas The Fight Network is having success in are it’s recently launched clothing line called "Fight Brand Clothing.” FBC offers one of a-kind apparel for fans of the fight game and the channel itself.
"Fight Brand Clothing has that "club” feel to it "said Garrow. "People can wear it anywhere on the street or to the gym, it’s yet another way Fight Network can get people talking about the fight game as a whole and that is exactly why we exist and what we are about,” he added
Official LIMITED EDITION David "The Crow" Loiseau fight-wear inspired by David himself
To celebrate the station’s first anniversary, The Fight Network will be airing a ninety minute special beginning Friday Sept 22nd at 6pm EST. This special will take fans behind the scenes offering highlights from last years launch event and a rundown of what’s to come on "TV’s toughest channel.” This special presentation will also be available on thefightnetwork.com beginning on Saturday September 23rd at 6pm EST.

But when people post the way you do, laughing at the people that were wrong in their expectations like you're happy they didn't benefit just sucks. You're like a 5th grader on a playground pointing and laughing at another kid that fell and scraped his knee. You actually get off on other people's downfalls and I'm telling you, it really makes you out to look like a bad person. Not only are you spending a lot of your free time on a forum board about a stock you don't own, which I couldn't even imagine doing. It's just so unproductive for your time. But when things go bad for the supporters here, you actually seem happy. You should really evaluate what it is your purpose is. Because I've seen a couple posts where people have mentioned negatve reasons for not wanting to be in a stock on a board, and maybe actually trying to help people. I've read your posts and anyone that reads them can easily see that you're literally here to hurt, bother, and pick on hopeful people. No offense, but you're acting like total scum. You're the bad people. You're the one that people are wondering, "Who raised this jerk?!?" You should seriously ask yourself what you're getting out of your bashing. If you honestly think maybe it will drop the PPS so you can buy cheaper shares, then that's fine. We'll all watch and laugh at your little fantasy that is so far from realistic. Not saying it won't go down. Just saying if it does, it's not because YOU were bashing it. I think i'm speaking for everyone here when I ask you to give it a rest, unless you have a good reason for acting this way that you could explain so we all understand what your purpose is. Thanks.

News would be nice......BUT...as long as business is moving forward and people are executing......I'm happy News will come and price will take care of itself. If people want to sell to me at bargain basement prices....I'll add! I have no problem with that. When prices spike a bit I'll shave a few shares, but I'm waiting for the bigger picture to develop and I believe it will within a reasonable timeframe.. In the meantime..I love what has been accomplished to date. It is unreasonable to expect a PR every day to prop prices for flippers.

AmbitiousDrive, thanks for sharing the response to your Choicetrade email with me. I tried to respond to your PM but kept getting a message saying "you are unable to send private messages at this time a board leader has deactivated this option". Never used the PM through Allstocks before so I have no idea what that is all about.....

no problem..
i actually emailed them twice again today for an update.. here's their response to my question:
"Dear Sir,
With the volume of shares being issued, almost 10 quadrillion, DTC's system cannot handle that large a number of shares, which is why the restricted CUSIP was set up at a 1:1 ratio. DTC informed Penson as the certificates come in from the Agent that they will be forwarding them to Penson and the shares will be placed in the accounts. Apologies for the inconvenience.

And one example of >> how brokers are dealing with it, here\\\'s Schwab\\\'s response: >> >> \\\"I am pleased that you wrote back for another reason, however. It >> came to my attention that you did receive 10,000 shares of the >> preferred stock for every single share of BKMP you hold. Our system >> is not able to display share numbers that large, so we have set up an >> identification to display one share for every 10,000 shares.\\\" >> >> Thanks >> >> >> >"
In the first email, its as though they didn't even realize that the pfd shares showing in my account was a 1:1 ratio. It's as if they don't have a clue as to what's going on or they are trying to pull a fast one on me.
In the second email, they state they are waiting for the DTC to receive the cert's to send to penson.. then they will send cert's to choicetrade... after that we will receive the shares in our account.
The funny thing is I called them soon after and got another reason which was that they were still in "communication" with the company and wanted to make sure it was a legit 10,000:1 ratio before giving out the preferred shares..
So which one is it? I am as confused as everyone else is, but other brokerages seem to have their ratios right using other methods such as counting each 1 preferred share as a unit of 10,000 preferred shares.. GLTY

Tony Condello wasn't afraid of setting the proverbial bar too high.
When asked what fans could expect from the Oct. 28 Ultimate Cage Wars presents: The War Zone card at the Winnipeg Convention Centre, the longtime promoter could hardly contain his enthusiasm.
'TAPED FOR TV'
"It's going to be the biggest show seen here in Winnipeg," said Condello. "You're going to see boxing, kick boxing, mixed martial arts, judo. The whole works."
The show will be taped for TV and aired on The Fight Network across North America, likely in November, thanks to a three-year deal Condello has signed.
"It's the first time," said Condello, noting previous UCW shows have averaged 2,500 fans and hopes to surpass 3,000 for this show.
Alex Popov and Aaron (Double Barrel) Tregear are among the fighters slated to take part in the 10-fight card.
But the big news is that UFC superstars Bas Rutten (a former UFC heavyweight champion and three-time undefeated King of Pancrase) and Canadian Georges St. Pierre of Montreal are scheduled to be in attendance.
"Whether they fight is yet to be seen, but they're going to be here live anyway," said Condello.
Condello says the ultimate fighting revolution is just scratching the surface.
"It's going to be bigger than wrestling," said Condello. "It's just a matter of time."
Early bird tickets featuring a 20% discount are available from Sept. 25 to Oct. 15 at Ticketmaster locations or by calling 780-3333, using the password UCW. Ringside VIP tables can be purchased by calling Tony at 229-9173 or Genevieve at 997-1048. Previous story: Terminator punished Next story: Russians knock off U.S. at Davis Cup

i have choicetrade , and got 1:1 with a special restriction but heres the emailr esponse they sent last week so i'll wait til 10/3 to see
Please read the response from the Corporate Actions department at Penson Financial below.
I have contacted DTC & the Agent stated these will not be restricted, however when DTC received the certificate it had a 144 legend on the certificate. Therefore, they were issued as restricted. I spoke w/ DTC & because their system is not set up to hold and issue the large amount of shares. I was informed that on 10/3 they will be exiting the restricted and as they receive the certificates from the Agent they will be issuing the shares.
