Yeah, I'm just tieing abunch of loose ends together and "seeing it."
Naked shortening is just selling shares that they don't have to sell pure and simple. It drives the price down cause the maket gets flooded and selloffs REALLY sell off and they scoop up tons of shares that they know are worth more and sell later in the squeeze.
No wonder Rufus is getting a report according to that pinic guy. Rufus wants to know how many fake shares they sold, that's what was "sold short." -they are short that many...

they call them air shares.
MM's are allowed to short stocks, sell stocks which they do not actually own, in order to make the market active. They do not have to borrow them from anyone prior to shorting unless they have already shorted the stock and it is on the NASD SHO list.
Thus you wind up with companies like this one with millions and millions of more shares in the market than were actually issued. The letter going around offering to borrow individuals shares is a sure sign that the rules regarding naked shorting does help.

Seems to me RPH wants the move to $2 to induce covering prior to the 10K. Based on the new DD here that indicates the overall impact of naked shorting and the possible effect on this stock we appear to have a sound strategy.
Thanks to chart for all that effort. Having never really looked at that aspect of teh market it was a great learn.

So we get to watch them screw down our PPS and shake loose real shares for them to snatch up.
Even if I sold at a higher price... trying to get shares from the MM's is difficult once volume stops and we can't take advantage of the lower PPS like they do. Small amounts OK, but still take forever to fill. Any decent size order I've had tried to buy is nearly impossible to fill. Due to the manipulation... nyone wanting to go long on this is taking a big chance by flipping to end up with no shares at all.... IMHO
