So if someone had 5 mill dollars in an account, which I'm sure there are millionaires here on allstocks, they would be able to short 2 million shares of whatever stock they choose. The $5mill would never be touched unless the stock begins to shoot upward and get out of control, otherwise they make bank by letting the money sit there to cover their short positions. It does not cost 2.5 per share if some are thinking that.
well... yeah it kind of does cost $2.50 a share to do cause if you don't have it, ya can't do it.
-But I hear what youare saying...
Wow.. maybe next time I'll just keep thing to myself! lol ~ JK!!

I called TD Ameritrade and spoke to the margin dept. yesterday, and they told me that it costs $2.50 per share to short. Maybe that's just them then huh?

I guess I put this more as a statement when in reality it was only questioning. Sorry folks, didn't intend to imply anything.

Money... I learned more then I wanted to! lol ~
But info is power, info is money, that is why I watch all the words I say when it comes to "facts"
People's hard earned money is here and I do not want to cause anyone a loss at MY info. In fact I felt very BLESSED to have gotten that info for everyone. That felt great!

Pluto will ALWAYS be a plant. Screw those stupid eggheads, I grew up with 9 Planets and when I have kids I will teach them that there are 9 planets - including Pluto.
What are these 'astronomers' going to say next? That Krypton never blew up? Oh that's right - they told poor Superman that and he spent 5 years stuck in space chasing a pipe dream. Astronomers lost all credibility with me on that one.
Pluto has been, and always will be a PLANET. Regardless of these eggheads say.

I was able to purchase a 10K share position. Not a ton, but enough when the price resets. I'm actually suprised that we didn't run harder in the am, I think I have ACTC or whatever that stem cell stock was to thank for that gift.
This time I'm just going to hold, anyway I'm still pissed off about the Pluto thing.

Good for you smelly ~ I missed that one... but not caring. I've dug so far into this one that I'm very comfortable with it. Even went so far as to "Google Earth" the address to make sure there was a building there! That's a neat site.
I believe we're sitting good here and sooner or later the pressure will be upward IMO.
Then we can start a committee to overturn the Pluto thing! lol ~

Yeah Chart I Google Earthed the building also, looks like a big buisness complex there. Also I don't recall any talking much about the run at the end of the day yesterday. My guess is that it was not just a typical EOD run. It seems like just another normal bay and then BOOM! out of no where the pps starts blowing up. If I recall, this seems to happen before all these big news items come out. seems like insiders know what's coming and start buying. Does that seem to track with what ya'll have noticed? Ima

With CSHD it's hard to say... This stock has had a habit of doing that, that tells me flippers have the radar on it, which is fine (I flip).
But looking for BULLISH ENGULFING Candlesticks at EOD will give you a heads up on big movers. Stock charts dot com has a stockscanner that has a Bullish Engulfing filter, you can see all those candlesticks for the day at the click of a button ~

Thanks chart. Nice website btw. I've looked into doing some more daytrades in the future. I'll have to study this alittle more. Right now I'm reading "The beginners guide to Daytrading Online" and "How To Make Money in Stocks" the first is a recomendation from 10 o' 13. Thanks 10! Btw Chart, I've noticed many talk about charts not being as useful in the volitile pennies. Seems like some good arguments on both sides of the fence. Any thoughts on this. You could PM me if you want or public it don't matter. And thanks for all the input. Ima
