Let me clarify that "continues to lose money" part: I mean the pps continues to drop, or has little to no real movement in any direction. It's all about the momentum here.
I usually miss the momo and hold bags. Lots of em.
I like this stock, but decided the other day not to stay in because it has no momentum. Maybe I'll regret it if this does close above .004 tomorrow....and maybe I'll try to get in under .005 if this shows signs of waking up.

bowl... jmho completely, but i feel the newsletter gives about as strong an indication of forthcoming momo/PRs come september as one could ask for. the pps has remained at least consistent now for about a month. yeah, sure, it's boring as hell :-) and there's other plays out there that one could make money (or lose money) on. as has been my experience though... same as 'buy on rumor, sell on news'... also equally true (though boring from the onset), 'buy the silence, sell the noise'. i love the momo plays, but in the back of every portfolio cycle i play are always a couple 'silencers' in which i might sit on and forget about for months until one day i wake up and say, 'wow, i just made a 300%!!!" (SELL!!! :-) glty and jmho,

here's a response from one of my computer guru friends regarding me asking him what i thought of the forthcoming X-Sgen (this friend of mine called apple for me when it was $10 and i rode it 'til $79):
"ok very cool. I see a picture of it (the x-sgen) and the specs. they are using windows ce and an intel xscale processor. same one that palm uses in it -- lifedrive. this is also the same processor that I believe apple will begin to use in their ipods which will become a pda soon. The big apple product announcements are during steve job's keynote next monday at noon. wait for that. it will give you a good idea where they are headed. I dig the fold out keyboard. should make some waves."
above is strictly 'for what it's worth" and opinion of my friend only. (but i value his insights in the tech world, big-time)

Yeah, maybe....Problem is that I generally buy the rumor/hype, and then that rumor/hype just disappears completely - leaving me with a bag.
So, my patience is more to the cautious side these days.
Example: PAIV when it reached .02, I bought because I saw the L2s jumping around liek crazy that morning, then sold at a slow point (same day) to take 15%. Within a week or 2 it went to .20. I lost on big profit, but made small profit. My losses were heavy playing the "wait and see" game, so caution is my game these days and I must stick with it until the stock shows me something.
I've also been having this lurid feeling that MMs watch us (newsgroups, individual investors) closely to help them determine which way to move stocks. I think overall investor sentiment is something that MMs play into to make their own monies beyond normal supply and demand. Move it up on small hype, wait for people to get excited ad buy in, then drop it until they are so pissed that they've lost 3/4 of their cash on it and tired of wating that they give it back to the MM. Lather, rinse, repeat.
As a professed newbie (if I were not a newbie, I would be rolling in the cash), I'm ususally the one who get's shaken out at the low prices. I've tired of holding bags, and am leary of the way that MMs control just about everything in this market. My chart reading is decent (I went through stock chart school on stock charts . com) and I see everything that points to upwards movement with momentum, but get burned again and again anyhow because that momo seems to stop right near where I bought in.
I need to learn to read L2s better, since that's where it appears to be at.....
Oh, hey, amd I rambling...?

hey... at least this MIGHT (eod) be our third green day in a row. having watched and been in this stock for a LONG time now, i've noticed green upticks on low volume as indications of real buying (ie, not dilution, not P&D). as of late, most of the time whenever the PPS has gone up it's been from some huge group play (or otherwise) taking it from .0035 to .0055 in about 3 minutes and then dumping big stinky poohs on all who bought late into the hype. it now seems like we've established a formidable base around .004 (give or take 20%!!! :-) however, if the latest newsletter is ANY indication of things to come, we should see the momo and PRs and a paydate come september. imho.

The 6 month daily chart is really starting to show signs of life here for SLWF.
The RSI has been climbing and now sits at 37.87 which is the highest point it has been at since early June.
The MacD continues its month long climb out of the gutter and is now at its highest point since early MAY and the histogram continues to show growth.
What I really like is that both the Aroon and the ADX have gone positive. Aroon up is 40 over 24 and the ADX up is 27 over 25 with a weak trend line at 26.7. This is the first time the ADX and the Aroon have agreed on positive indicators for the last 6 months. Aroon has been stubbornly negative to this point.
The only bad thing I can find is that our CMF is down again some recently.
Oh, that and volume. We NEEED volume. Or this trend will be kaput the moment the first sellers enter the market.
GLTU next week!

Good question. I dunno what's up either. I'm still waiting to see higher pps hold, and more volume.
With L2s all over the place, it's usually a good sign. However, I don't see NITE or UBSS supporting the bid very heavlily, either.
Something's definitely up, though! <---Helpful, I know

LOL...Bigfoot, you sound like you're taking this stock out to dinner and a movie!
Seriously, the volume is nice today, and I'd love to see it go up to confirm the trend, but it's not what I think we need for it to run.

The way that ARCA was sitting below the bid all afternoon, bugs me a bit.
Volume was really nice to see, though not quite double the 60 day average, it was close. It was just over the 90 day average volume.
As per normal, I could be wrong (and hope I am), and am still waiting for it to "prove" it's strength by holding higher pps on stronger/higher volume.
I'm thinking their gonna shake tomorrow, maybe Wednesday too, and then let it run later this week or early next.

Guess I should have said that there's nothing I have to back up my guesses, either! Just looking at the 2 month chart and noticing a similar pattern history amongst indicators.
Hoping for better than that, though!
