Matto, would love to get in, but wont have settled funds until Tuesday morning. You think it will all be over by then, or do u think it may take a day for everything to happen because maybe MM's try to keep it low? I could try to sell CFTE(now DPER) if its possible yet, havent checked with Scottrade, however, I'd have to stay in this stock for 3 days then. Any opinions on what way to go? thx

Also, this is to anyone.....what exactly is the penalty if u buy and sell a stock with unsettled funds?

If the mm's have thier shares it will run hard on monday, If pr comes out it will go for a few days imo. thier is more attention on this now then i have seen on a stock in a long time!

well, I think Im going to try to sell DPER in morning and buy this. I'll just sit on it for 3 days I guess and hope it doesnt go under .02 by then. Tuesday I can sell other stock, if this hopefully hasnt went to crazy, and buy more with unsettled funds. (then I can sell that day if needed) ya!

I've bought and sold twice with unsettled funds with scottrade. I had warning messages from scottrade when logging onto my account. I called them up after the second time and acted dumb and asked them how come I keep getting these warning messages. After they told me not to do it again on the phone I have not done it. There was no penalty for me just the warnings. I do not want to push them for a third time especially after I got the warning on the phone when I called them. I only did it the 2 times when I really had to get out from losing any more money on both occasions. I just stay out now with unsettled funds now.

I have also learned that it really is not worth it to buy with unsettled funds, at least for me. I just have become more patient and just wait for the next one. I use to rush it a lot more and get all caught up in the hype - I was also losing money like crazy. I've slowed it down a lot and have been making back my losses.

SFDE sounds promising but I'm wondering if I'll be able to get in at a reasonable level now. I'm also wondering if I should take a small loss on two other stocks so I could possibly get into SFDE. Any thoughts?

Thx JHenry. I've given it some thought. Ur probably right. I can probably sell my 2 stocks by EOD Monday, which is my 3rd day of settling, and then have clear funds on Tuesday morning. Hopefully, its still at a good price and I can buy in and get out when I want then, without being stuck in it. Maybe it skyrockets, then goes back down and I miss out, but like u said, there will always be another one. no need to get stuck. Ive lost money that way too.

Monday morning my buy for SDFE won't go through while the pps keeps climbing, I raise my bid price, no luck, raise again and go above the ask price for extra chance of getting in on the run, finally after 10 minutes, I'm in! Woohoo! Let's go baby, green, green, green! Finally after 10 minutes, what's happening? The pps is tumbling, I think its just the first shake, no problem, it keeps dropping though and I get nervous. I put in a sell price but the pps keeps dropping, I lower my sell price, no luck, lower it again below the bid price for an extra chance of selling ahead of the slide, finally after 10 minutes, I'm out!.
So what should I buy next?
