Man...I dont know ....More I get into it more interesting this gets....My broker is not available all day.....(I think he is sick of me!!! bugging him)...
My friends father was working in a international company as public relation officer.....I am going to try to get in touch with him and get more information.........on this deal
The most surprising thing i have come across is WHY?? stafford which was not that of a big company got involved with acq. of a MOnster like NUCON>>>>>>>
Read this part
So far, the U.S. Energy Department, which is in charge of Yucca, has
chosen conventional materials; its current plan is for a cask made of
steel alloyed with chrome, molybdenum and nickel, called alloy 22, and a
titanium tent above that. The department says it needs 10,000 packages,
and plans to spend about $500,000 a package, so the financial incentives
are significant.
i.e....$$$5,000,000,000...only from U.S if that plan went through or is in process (I dont know).
Also I read that they are in process of helping INDIA, CHINA and few other countries with similar process...

Theory on SFDE by supbennyradio.com:: Friday 5/5/06's pullback is a good thing i) fills the gap created from Wed close - Thur open, ii) % loss will attract the bottom players. With the increasing volume from Tue 5/2/06 - Fri 5/5/06 this stock (SFDE) will be huge Mon/Tue.
Watching Level2 most of the afternoon here is what I noticed. DOMS was controlling the bid and was sitting on the ask at .14, when the stock started moving an order for 245000 hit the ask and the stock pps reached .03. From there I can only imagine the MMs are tapped for shares and started bring this down

subpennyradio: Why print .018 when the bxa was .013x.015?? In hopes for more people to shell shares on the bid to VERT. This didn't work as the ask continued to get hit and at 3:30 I was talking with a listener and said "did you see that! T&S just printed 3:04:45 and its now 3:30pm"... MMs are holding back orders which would explain why the .018 printed after the bxa was .013x.015

subpennyradio: I believe SFDE has a very strong chance of gapping Mon 5/8/06. How high will this run?? Well i) i do not give buy, sell, hold recommendations -- only share my opinion of patterns seen in the market, ii) the people who flipped this on Thur 5/4/06 thought it was over and will see the buzz and come back in to play again, iii) the insiders and MMs had no idea this would happen and are scared so will sell shares upto .14-.20. Notice first MM was is really .51 where 3 MMs are sitting.

Matto.....
DId u talk to subpenny radio....
He is going crazyyyy over this...
I dont know if I should mention this here...But says he wants to get out at 0.12-0.13....
HOOOO....I would have been happy with little less than that ....

THIS IS THE DISCUSSION

:on SFDE I'd i'm thinking .12/.13 just because i) DOMS was there before the shake, ii) DOMS probably has shares and not happy doesn't have more so... will move up

: Last time I looked the first MM wall was at .51 so, like AEYS I kept telling people that it would continue to roll since HDSN was at .01 then .03 then .21 and now 1.01

what's all the big fuss? why do you think this is going to run? If so, how long will it be because I dont have a day traders account. So if i chase it and buy at .02 or .03 and have to wait 3 days, will it plummet back to .01 or lower?

MoMo you should get a margin account...Its only $2000 and then u can do 3 round trips.....Its a better deal...ofcourse if u just starting with $500...CASH account is also fine...

If u hang around these boards and follow Matto....Your account balance will get to $2000...in account in no time.......

And then u can get a margin account...

actually i started with more than 2000 and didnt know about the margin account. Now with my misfortunes, im below 2000. If only one of my stocks moves, I would be above 2000 and then i will get margins account.

They it was jumping around with each buys on friday (esp around 2:30-3:00)...I would be seeing lot of people chasing this puppy..in am...Just put an order and pray it takes it...Matto might have better idea of how much...is a good limit order...(he is known to get in early when no one can)
I am putting a 60,00o stock order at 0.018....If it shows strength in am...I might increase the limit....But thats a good starting order...

I realize that this is a pink, so they’re not required to files 10-K’s, 8-K etc, but I did have one basic question: What does Stafford Energy do?

At first, I couldn’t understand why the company has a name like Stafford Energy. By all accounts Stafford Energy is either a venture capital firm, acquisitions firm and/or a holdings institute, which is fine. Crap, look at Berkshire Hathaway and other highly holdings companies. But Stafford Energy never comes out and says that they are a VC or holdings company or what it is that they actually do. A typical Stafford press release touts the success of their subsidiary and ends with the phrase:

“Stafford intends to continue to update its shareholders and the marketplace as newsworthy events occur’.

It’s kind of weird.

So, here’s some background info I found on Stafford

In 2002 was a OTCBB (SFDV.BB) company-can’t find the old 10-Qs though. At that time, their objective was to “to become part of the oil & gas industry's new generation of junior oil companies. All financing efforts are focused on the Company's mandate to acquire proven producing oil and gas properties in Canada and abroad.”
(http://calbears.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0EIN/is_2002_June_19/ai_8747684 5)

But somewhere down the road (8/26/02), they decided to switch to the pinks (never a good sign- implies lack of desire to be transparent) and changed objectives.

In 2003 Stafford acquired the rights to WebSmart technology and acted as its sales and marketing envoy (http://quickstart.clari.net/qs_se/webnews/wed/cg/Bnv-stafford-energy-inc.RM7P_D a5.html)

In 2004 they acquired Abucco Technologies (http://press.arrivenet.com/business/article.php/339589.html), a Canadian company, “ in the business of high technology security, access and telemetry monitoring and control over the Internet and wireless networks” You can see what they do from the links below:

http://www.abucco.com/news/stafford3.html
http://www.abucco.com/news.html

And now in 2006, they merge with Nucon. Now, Nucon has a clear and well-stated objective, which they state on their web site:

http://www.nucon-rf.com/

“NUCON-RF's Mission
The mission of NUCON-RF (NUCON) is to acquire manufacturing facilities, technical support companies and proprietary technologies. These are intended to enable the company to market to government and private sector clients manufactured products, technologies and technical and engineering services in Russian Federation, European and Asian markets.”

So that’s good to see. But, why does Nucon want to merge with Stafford- is it because they want to penetrate the US market? That’s awful hard for a Russian company. If the converse is true, Stafford wants to bring its resources (WebSmart, Abucco, etc.)- are these commodities that are in high desire in the Russian/Euro market place.

******************************

Bottom line is I have a whole bunch of questions. Now don’t get me wrong- I have bought shares of companies not knowing 100% what it is they actually do, how profitable they are, if they’re genuine companies and if sometimes, if they truly exist. I’ve made money on some and lost some on others. And I did buy some shares of SFDE and tried to buy more. But IMHO this is ONLY a news/hype/momentum play and nothing more.

I hope matto does get Richard Connors to talk on the air with Simon, just to clarify what the heck Stafford Energy does are and why they merged with Nucon- and why Nucon agreed to the merger. It just seems to me that Stafford has a strange way of operating.

But they’re a pink- and I guess they can do what they want, right? And like matto, I don’t wanna marry it and take it home to mamma. Idon’t really trust this company, - and to a certain extent, I don’t suppose I have to- this is a momentum play. But I think it’s important for people to know what they’re getting into so they can understand the associated risk.

Well, bilgert, the deal is, of course another run could be shaping up...if so, DD won't matter much.

However, there may actually be a "deal" here. As your own research shows, Stafford kinda blows with the wind...that Stafford Ventures also had some sort of "product managment" business. There's still a one-page web site out there somewhere...

But now the Abucco company "seems" to be a real business...when I was calling around for Richard Connors, first I called his number in the press release. Didn't leave a message that time. Then I called Abucco and spoke with a guy there who was a bit nervous--understandably, as I was asking about investor info--but he did say Connors does come in from time to time. Notice the Abucco office/number is in Vancouver, as is Connors' number... Since then I have left a message on his number, requesting a return call re investor info...

The way it looks to me right now is that Nucon wants the shell and maybe even has a use for Abucco's remote-control devices.

My question remains about the share structure. The way I figure it, the OS is slightly north of 6b, with no way to estimate the float--but it can't be too big, as evidenced by ease of pps movement.

We do know the OS recently increased by 50m, as part of the debt elimination/preferred/conversion deal announced May 2. But it doesn't look like much of that--if any--has entered the entered float, simply by tracking trades since March 26, when Connors got his new shares. Certainly, he's noticed the recent pps increases and may be tempted to sell; yet, he'd be foolish to dump enough to dilute an overall rise in pps. A genuine reverse merger can be quite beneficial on pps, so I'm thinking he'd be smarter to get the deal done and hold those shares, for trickling out later... Now, full circle, I still can't square up the 3m "post-consolidated" shares the PR mentions in connection with those debt-related shares; they have to be connected to the 50m (taking the PR at face value), because they also said that $10k loan from Connors was their only debt. Yet, 50m divided by 275 is 1,818,181.18 . . . So, ya--there's some good questions on the table. That would be cool if he calls the show...
