I've always just recieved checks in the mail...
anyone else...

And don't be too concerned with volume... that won't be the deciding factor in the end... it's all abot div's and revenue in real estate stock... I've seen real estate stocks run up with no volume and great news...

What do you think sparked the housing boom? Low interest rates

What do you think squashed the housing boom? The fed raising interest rates

ss... the first increase in rates this year and we saw a 25% increase in the new housing market in January... I'm telling you... the real estate market is NOT in a slump... and that's looking at it from three completely different directions... lending, real estate broker, and trader...

Gatorboy, any particular reason why? We are doji'ing up right now. Tomorrow i can see this running back up a little. But we need some good news. I looked back on the chart and compaired it to news received recently. The news was all great and there should be no reason this stock is not going through the roof. I think there was just a big selloff scare and so far we are lacking the volume to bounce back. Other than that this is a great company whose average stock price is around .50 cents a share. This is definately a money doubler. Just wait for the next PR.

Cal-Bay International, Inc. to Acquire California-Based COBS Homes LLC
Friday April 21, 10:16 am ET

CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 2006--The Board of Directors of Carlsbad, CA-based Cal-Bay International, Inc. (OTCBB:CBAY - News) today announced the Company signed a Letter of Intent for the purchase of California-based COBS Homes, a premier online homebuilder support services company.

Cal-Bay International's President Roger Pawson announced the news after the Board of Directors confirmed the company had entered into an LOI for the purchase of COBS as a wholly owned subsidiary of Cal-Bay.

COBS (Complete Owner-Builder Services) was founded to help people through the process of building their own homes. The company has developed an A B C program to help with finance, real estate, and construction decisions. COBS provides services to help you with construction loans, home plans, building lots, building materials, construction budgeting, and the entire process of building a home. COBS was founded by President Rob Mackle in 2000 and has had consistent growth and success in the online Owner-Builder Services arena. COBS' annual revenues are currently in excess of $5M per year and through the Cal-Bay alliance COBS has plans for major growth and expansion. COBS has business partnerships with several major nationwide hardware chains; COBS' revenues for 2004/2005 are reported to be in the region of $5M per year. COBS has assisted with the building of over 6,000 homes since inception. www.cobshomes.com

Cal-Bay's President further added upon successful completion of the acquisition COBS would relocate to Cal-Bay Corporate Offices in Carlsbad, California, bringing the total number of employees at the corporate location to 40 people.

Pawson further commented, "We are delighted to have the opportunity to expand the horizons for both companies by way of the acquisition, many joint venture projects are available within the internal operations of the companies, and Cal-Bay will make available the resources to the COBS subsidiary to expand their operations and marketing needs to further grow the company, resulting in maximized market awareness, expanded corporate sponsorship, increased revenues and profitability. The combined revenues for Cal-Bay and COBS, based upon Cal-Bay's current Property Portfolio and COBS' current revenues, will equate to almost $10M per year."

The final terms of the acquisition will remain confidential at this time due to the terms of the NDA (non-disclosure agreement). The anticipated closing date for the companies is expected to be no later than May 15, 2006.

When they start to sell off some of these properties they are building right now there will be a serious rise in the stock. That may be a while though.

This won't take long... we've been holding for what, two weeks now, a month might be considered a long time, two weeks, not so much...

We saw green today which is always better than red... I sent the company an email today, I'll let you know when I hear back...

In a few months when the next quarter financials come out... dollar at LEAST!... keep it on the watchlist while I'm keeping it on the hold list...

I have no intent on selling and I haven't posted much in the past week due to the fact that my grandfather has been in the hospital...

P Rowds... the next fed meeting is May 10th if I remember right, from everyhting I have read it doesn't look like rates are going to continue to climb...

Working in a bank, today alone I took 3 NEW customers looking to buy homes and every week it seems I have more and more customers...

My families business is booming and we are looking to open another office...

But aside from personal experiences... the housing market has been "expected" to take a hit since the feds first lowered rates... I hate to say it but this isn't so much a stock play as it is a real estate play...

It's like commodities... you buy kc wheat when you know there is a chance it is going to be raining in eastern kansas... you buy chicago wheat in anticipation it will be raining up north... not to mention the demand of the different types...

You buy this stock in anticipation that real esate will always be huge and the recent cobs home aquisiion will help to build cash flow in the company...

And P... I have heard a lot more hurtful bashing than that... you're okay to question...

glty
