PAIM has a pending MPSA (Mineral Production Sharing Agreement), for the final Certification to mine over 1,800 hectares of the XYZ Gold Mine Site.

Pearl Asian Mining Industries (PAMI) Announces the Summer Explorations of the PANAMA Group Mining Properties In Canada & The Summer Operations of the PARACALE Gold & Silver Mining Properties In The Philippines
CANADA: Vancouver, British Colombia, June 22, 2004 (Pink Sheets News Service) -- The Pearl Asian Mining Industries (Pink Sheets: PRMN) announces the summer feasibility studies and the exploration of its 49 silver/lead/zinc mining claims known as "Panama Groups I, II, III, IV" is scheduled to begin on August, 2004. These group includes Jo-Jo, Miner Boy, London Hill, Silver Glance and Empress mining properties, located in the historic Slocan Trail Creek and Nelson Mining Districts of the Southeastern Region of British Colombia. According to the previous owners, these mines have been prodigious producers since 1893, with recorded silver values ranging from 134.6 to 395 ounces of silver per ton. The latest laboratory assay shows an average of 203 ounces of silver per ton from seven (7) individual samples. There are mills in the area which can process in excess of 100 tons of ore each on a daily basis. Substantial increase in silver prices have only enhanced the prospects for the "Panama Group". Many of the properties have substantial and past production histories, including gold, lead, zinc in addition to silver. The previous owners of these claims said that, although the type and size of potential reserves is unknown some of the 49 claims have shown historically from 3,565 tons of ore, to yield 229,556 ounces of silver, 46 ounces of gold, 53,690 pounds of lead, and 2,026 pounds of copper.
PHILIPPINES: A Mining Operations Agreement for a 10 year period , renewable for another 10 years with option to buy and to acquire the 100% mining tenements and claims of the rich Paracale Gold Mining District Properties from the current stakeholder and minerals rights owner is scheduled to be executed, signed and finalized this month. This is in parallel to the acquisition being made on the 675 tpd C-I-L Gold Ball Mill Plant on the Santa Rosa Mining Site. Historically based on the feasibility studies made by the former mining operators, the Santa Rosa Mining Site mills 650 - 675 tons of ores daily, yielding an approximate 90 ounces of gold per day. Estimated annual ore production yields 32,000 ounces of gold generating an estimated gross annual income of $12,500,000.00 USD at current market rates from a single open pit. These figures are based on the historic averages and do not reflect the benefit of the planned upgrades.
Pearl Asian Mining Industries, Inc. will put back into production this abandoned gold mining properties scheduled to begin as early as July, 2004. PAMI will immediately upgrade current procedures to increase the yield of the operation, which should realize an additional 20% to 25% output with minimal increase in cost of operation or capital outlay. Short range plans to construct a new electro-winning and refining plant will maximize the gold and silver recovery, while also adding the recovery of other precious metals such as platinum, iridium and palladium to the site's products. The new facility will also increase the capacity of ore throughput resulting in further increases in total production and bottom line profits.
This acquisition marks a new era of cooperation between private industry and the Philippine government in the development and refining of the island's natural resources, implementing the company's vision and mission of strong management plan for community service, socio-economic and environmental awareness. This acquisition will become an added asset to the fast growing mining company of Pearl Asian Mining Industries, Inc.

My job is studying the Philippines, I just spent 6 months there. I wouldn't invest in any company coming out of the Philippines that country is so friggen corrupt. However for the short term I have no opinion because these pinks are so unpredictable.

PASIG CITY, Philippines, Feb 08, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Pearl Asian Mining Industries (OTC:PAIM) releases the summary report on the Geological Resource Studies within the 20 hectares of the XYZ Gold Mines Site Mineral Deposits.
The current tenement portfolios of PAIM are: (1) Small Scale Mining Claim Permit (SSMP) - 20 hectares, (2) Mineral Production Sharing Agreement (MPSA) - 720.00 hectares, (3) Exploration Permit Application (EPA) - 1,807.4773 hectares.
The recent exploration based on the Geological report of the Gil Apuya's MAYON Geological Company states that the present Geologic Resource of XYZ Gold Mine is about 1.5 million tons at a grade of 3.04 g/t-Gold (AU) and 19.96 g/t-Silver (AG). PAIM's team interpretation or projection as to mineable resource (projected to be mined or extracted) is about 446,592 tons at a grade of 5.13 g/t-Gold and 31.14 g/t-Silver. The mineable resources are categorized into low grade source of about 120,000 tons at a grade of 1.84 g/t (grams per ton)-Au (Gold) and 14.50 g/t (grams per ton)-Ag (Silver). The high grade source of about 326,592 tons at a grade of 6.34 g/t-Au; 37.24 g/t-Ag. These ores to be mined will be processed by heap leaching C-I-L and ELSA methods. The abandoned tunnels 3 and 4 are included in the projected high grade zone. The high grade zone or block of mineable resource of 326,592 tons using interpolation started from trench no. 1 at elevation 220 meters up to trench no. 4 at elevation 300 meters with a strike length of 400 meters. The 400 meters strike length was projected downward until elevation 160 meters, where abandoned tunnel no. 1 is situated. The average grade of the block of 6.34 g/t-AU; 37.24 g/t-AG were derived from the surface of tunnels 3 and 4 samples. The block grades were projections and will be confirmed once the tunnels are rehabilitated and sampled.
The estimates are based on projections derived from trench 1 down to tunnel 1 and possibly beyond tunnel 1 extending east and is subject for field investigation. Basing on the initial exploration results, the XYZ mineral deposit is an epithermal vein type deposit. The extent of the deposit at depth must be further studied through rehabilitation of old tunnels and core drilling to acquire more geological data and increase resource potential.
