I think it's a good thing. the UDC will go over the case study and see how much money will be saved through the CNES system.

I believe their local UDC (which is how they phrase it) is SCE. Good news, indeed.

The GE No-Deal could actually be a blessing in disguise. I'm sure all of the players that have GE stock might have received this news anyway since it mentions GE......more inquiring eyes to look into the offerings of CNES IMO.

Funny How vehemently CNES is denying the GE rumour!!! Everytime I've seen contract talks in any industry that were denied to be happening like this, there is probably something going on! Watch out this could be a Boom in the near term.

Bear I agree with you and Wino. The clean room more than likely will be used for prototype and data while manufacturing will be done elsewhere in an industrial location.
The news today was interesting but imo nothing to increase value just yet. I guess MM's will push this up today a little and then pushed up even a little higher by very a few more investors but by EOD will come back down and stay until we get a PR announcing significant and positive results moving us forward. jmo

Does anyone know how/where CNES's meters are made? Do they have some mad scientist workshop or are they made in conjunction with some other appliance company? Personally, I would think the latter, so who's to say it isn't some place like GE? Or simply some place that could manufacture the meters for the current pilot and then ramp up full scale should they land a contract. Thoughts?

I still think GE is plausible as a partner for CNES, even if it is just in manufacturing the meters. The more people scream it isn't so, a lot of the time it's just more likely that it is.

CNES is located in a very expensive industrial park here in Santa Clarita (aka Valencia). Next time I drive by I'll snap some pic's to post here if you want to see what their building looks like. Prime real estate though, and pretty big.

I would think they have a manufacturing facility agreement secured but with contingents. Subject to getting work of course.
