My opinion is I doubt much will happen tomorrow. The MR is most likely going to be the same as the rest, weak. Then most holders will wait for the next big thing to come (This rumored PR). If anything does happen, it will just continue to rise as it has in the recent past. This is, of course, unless a PR comes out tomorrow like is rumored.

A single day pattern that can appear in an uptrend. It opens higher, trades much higher, then closes near its open. It looks just like the Inverted Hammer except that it is bearish. _______
Hope news hits. The chart looked like a shooting star today.

Quote: > Palo Alto, CA, Mar. 6, 2006 -- Frost & Sullivan have released a new report that says automated meter reading (AMR) is a path to profitability. Cash strapped utilities are experiencing increasing pressures to increase profitability and reduce costs, says Frost & Sullivan. A sound solution to such utility problems has come in the form of AMR systems, the report found. > > AMR systems are designed to reduce operational costs and meet the new regulations that make demand response and outage management features necessary. The utilities using AMR technology expect to save at least as much as the cost of the whole AMR system over the lifetime of the system, says Frost & Sullivan. > > Frost & Sullivan found that the North American AMR market earned revenues of $2183.0 million in 2005 and estimates this to reach $3180.4 million in 2012. > > "The AMR market is moving up the priority list of the utilities because of the inherent cost benefits offered by the system. The regulatory scenario is expected to keep the AMR at the top of the priority list for at least 3 to 4 more years," says Frost & Sullivan research analyst J. Subramanian. > > The significantly higher cost of the equipment, installation and the maintenance of advanced metering AMR, over traditional AMR prove to be the biggest challenge today, says Frost & Sullivan. Advanced metering AMR incorporates increased sophistication and improvements in reliability and accuracy, resulting in lower overall operational cost over the lifetime of the equipment, says the report. Utilities, however, are wary of investing in such a system without a strong business case. > > "Utilities are carefully analyzing the business case for advanced AMR, which more often than not has proven very difficult, as many benefits of advanced AMR are intangible," notes Subramanian. > > The newer advanced AMR systems expect to have significantly lower operating costs and improved reliability along with better accuracy, says Frost & Sullivan.

I agree gator. If you look at their release and the WallStreet news article I'd say they want to become a lot more visible on Wall Street, which can't be a bad thing. Question is will they need to dilute to pay for the cost?
Wonder how it will pan out tomorrow.

I don't think this will drop. 2 bln shares traded * or over 2 today, nothing below. I still say anyone that thinks this has risen on sheer hype of the MR is being naive - CNES follower's expected this...and besides, BILLIONS upon BILLIONS of shares have been traded here. That doesn't just happen on MOMO and hype plays, especially for this extended a period of time. That being said, it's JMO. :-)
The only ones who know what is really up is CNES, whoever they are dealing with, and the mm's who have been massively accumulating and moving this stock.

I told this forum months ago the GE rumor was not real. Someone took the MR about the PGE Portland Gas & Electric and made it look like GE. It will drop because the GE deal is what all the hype was about.....
"The Company has become aware of certain rumors alleging that it is in the process of entering into a transaction with General Electric Co. The rumors appear to have originated from an electronic mail communication allegedly sent by the Company’s investor relations personnel. This purported communication is a forgery and was not sent by Company personnel. The Company denies the existence of a transaction with General Electric Co., either pending or otherwise. It is the Company’s policy to neither confirm nor deny rumors regarding potential or pending business transactions. Further, it is the Company’s policy to divulge information regarding a business transaction only after the business transaction is formally entered into. In addition, any communications by the Company regarding its business transactions will only be through formal channels, such as press releases or filings made with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. "

The MR is not a PR obviously. The key here is that co. is progressing and it's measurable. 'Irrational exhuberance' doesn't seem to be modus operati of management. IME that's a good thing--technicals are still solid here. Hopefully no spectacular fall but in that event--many will be happy to be buy shares at lower levels. In any case, the quality of the base has dramatically improved since early February.
