IVOC has done the same thing since beginning of March. Their 1-month chart looks very similar to CNES'. Also the current RSI is similar.
Now I just need a friggin crystal ball to foresee the future.
Long & strong, while smoking a bong, in CNES!

Finally, after serveral attempts, buy is confirmed. Thats the theory, lets see what happens. -------------------------------------------------
CONECTISYS CORP Daily Commentary
Our system posted a BUY CONFIRMED today. The previous SELL recommendation was issued on 03.20.2006 (10) days ago, when the stock price was 0.0011. Since then CNES has gained 0.00% .
BUY-IF is confirmed by a white candlestick with a higher open. The buying price is today's open ( 0.0010 ) according to the Rules of Confirmation.
Patience pays off. The market wavered a bit but finally confirmed the recent bullish formation. The dose of the previous day was not enough for a BUY-IF confirmation but today it is. The market opened with a gap up and the day’s activity resulted in a close higher than the open. This is a valid confirmation criterion. The market is now ready for a bullish move.
We hope that you bought this stock . You should watch the upward gap in the opening, wait a bit, feel the bullish tendency of the market making sure that prices stay over the opening price and then go long. Your benchmark was the opening price of the upward gap.
If you bought, continue to hold this stock until the confirmation of the next SELL-IF signal. You are on safe grounds as long as the future prices continue to trade above the benchmark price. What to do if you did not buy? Maybe, you did not have time to follow the session or you simply delegated the delicate job of confirmation to us. Well it is a bit late, but not too late. You may still find suitable prices for buying in the following sessions.
The market is currently cold for short-sellers. Avoid any short sales and cover the short positions immediately if there are any.

I live in NY and we just had town water installed. The inspector came and installed the meter, unfortunately I was not home when he did this. The meter is in the basement. My wife asked him how they read the meter, and he said they just drive up and point a remote device at your house and it automatically reads it. I will try to find out what company is involved in this.

The meter that is installed is in a sealed box with no name. The only thing on the box is a bar code on all four sides. I will call the town hall tommorrow to see what company makes the meter.

Having a vehicle drive in front of your house and get the reading of your meter by radio (once a month) is the old technology CNES is trying to replace. Obviously, also spin-dial meters.
The idea is to install a cheap antenna that will take the reading of the CNES meters in several blocks. This information is sent to a base station and forwarded to the utility companies. The advantage is that the reading can be done several times every day and will still be cheaper than the other technologies. This information can be available to the customers in Internet so they can be aware of the energy/money they are spending.
Other benefit, maybe more important for a utility company, is that they will have real-time information in detail. With this they can detect problems, plan capacity, and buy-sell power from other utilities when necessary. In other words, be more efficient.

I'm not a betting man, Nick, that's why I play penny stocks. Right. Although I do agree we need some news...good news. I'm into good news. Good news usually comes in the color green. I like green. Green is good.

Hang on to your seats folks...SDG&E is close to first phase launch and CNES is definitely in the running since they already have meters up and running IMO...Great read !!! Where California goes so goes the rest of the country...
SDG&E Updates Plan for Advanced Meters SAN DIEGO, Mar 30, 2006 -- PRIMEZONE
San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) earlier this week filed an updated proposal for the installation of advanced meters for all of its customers by 2010. The new smart meters represent a major advance that will allow customers to customize their energy usage while giving them the opportunity to reduce costs.
The updated plan calls for the replacement of SDG&E's electric customer meters with smart meters that will allow two-way communication between the utility and its customers. SDG&E also is proposing to tie its gas meters into the system. If approved, meter installation will begin in mid-2008 and be completed by 2010.
The smart meters are expected to provide SDG&E customers with numerous benefits including improved customer service, more real-time information on energy use and faster restoration of system outages. Customers will be able to make more informed energy decisions and have greater control over their energy use and costs as a result.
The new meters, along with advanced communication capabilities, will allow SDG&E to move toward operating its electrical system and providing utility services at much higher levels of automation and reliability than today.
"These meters lay a foundation that provides benefits today and prepares SDG&E and its customers for the technologies of tomorrow," said Anne S. Smith, senior vice president, customer services, for SDG&E.
The updated plan, which replaces a proposal filed with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) in March 2005, supports California's energy policy goals. Those goals call for expanded use of energy-efficiency and demand-response initiatives. The information provided by smart meters will enable customers to customize their energy usage to match savings opportunities by shifting electricity usage away from times of peak consumption.
"We believe our updated plan will provide our customers with added advantages over the original proposal," said Smith.
SDG&E plans an extensive outreach campaign, including the launch of a comprehensive customer-education effort, direct mail, e-mail, Web- based communication and public presentations to inform customers about the program. The outreach will focus on explaining the meter's communication system and its benefits, as well as how to take best advantage of the meter's capabilities. SDG&E also will hold community forums to gather customer feedback.
Before drafting its current plan, SDG&E conducted a thorough and rigorous evaluation of the technologies now on the market, plus their capability to interface with the utility's communications and billing systems. In addition, SDG&E sought competitive bids from potential vendors, while evaluating project management experts to assist in the deployment. SDG&E assessed the potential for sweeping changes in the technology and has developed a plan to incorporate metering and communication advances in the future.
As part of its assessment, SDG&E will begin a series of field tests soon to determine the performance of several meter and communication technologies before making its final selections in mid-2007.
SDG&E's proposal will require approval from the CPUC before deployment could begin. If approved, the smart meters are expected to reduce system costs through meter-reader cost savings, earlier detection of outages, equipment monitoring and deferred construction costs related to reductions in peak usage.
SDG&E currently serves 3.4 million consumers through 1.3 million electric meters and more than 825,000 natural gas meters. The utility's service area spans 4,100 square miles and serves customers in more than 125 communities from Southern Orange County to the Mexican border. SDG&E is a regulated subsidiary of Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE). Sempra Energy, based in San Diego, is a Fortune 500 energy services holding company.
