I agree... we definitely have a long way to go, but these latest PRs are a step in the right direction.
I think the AirNet merger could be close. But what I liked most about that whole deal is what he said about them changing the ticker symbol and moving to the big market !!!

Universal Express Presents Funding Commitments to AirNet's Investment Banker MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2006 11:20 AM - BusinessWire USXP NEW YORK, Feb 13, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Universal Express Inc. If RA presented AirNet with the Funding Commitments on Feb 13th, 2006, and in previous PRs regarding same, they talked about there being 20 days of DD to complete the deal...
That would put the 20 mark at........ THIS WEEK!!

Maybe I am showing off my newbie-ness here...but couple of questions...
With ANS currently trading at 3.41 and them offering 4, would it make sense to buy? (Have no more investing cash now, but trying to learn what to buy and when) Bought this one too late or too early. Trying to plan better and learn more before next time.
And with USXP, seems to me that given enough time to implement their plans and grow the company, that they could become a $4 stock. Several years? Does that sound reasonable to anyone else? (I plan to be holding only free shares ASAP, but does it seem probable?)

These are all very good questions. Let me explain...
RA (the head of USXP) has just returned from a trip to Dubai, where he has supposedly secured investments totalling $200 Mil.
The purpose of these investments was to buy AirNet (which he has offer to buy at $4 per share x 10,000,000 shares) for a total of $40Mil...
AirNet (ANS) is a trucking company whose business has recently faultered because they have lost some banking contracts. Their main business is transporting cancelled checks and other time-sentative documents for banks. However, in 2004, banks were permitted to transport these document electronically.
This has hurt AirNet and their shares price has recently dropped, which makes them a perfect target for the buy out.
They have been looking for other markets to get into, but haven't had much luck... well, in comes USXP with a great market.
This is the same thing RA has mentioned about buying a faultering Airline to use, as well.
As for the "time to buy". The stock is only .017 right now and could EASILY climb to .20 to .40 in a short time. Especially, if he changes the ticker sysmbol and moves to the big board.
And from there it could very possibly climb to the $4 range within a year...
Just my 2 cents... do your DD!!
