We appreciate the observation, however, somethings are out of our control.
I am a proponent of trying to illuminate negatives and shortcomings of any stock I like or others might post and inadverntally or intentionally overlook those details.
Evergreen highlighted an SB-2 for IELM, I was aware of it, but didn't highlight because it was dated to September. Also, we had selected IVHG that had an SB-2 in progress and still made gains, so it is possible for stocks with shortcomings to have a positive PPS. IVHG was victim of the same Spread problem you see on PFMS. Grant it, sometime a 38% gain cannot be construed as a legitimate run.
All that being said, I would like everyone to keep in mind that JimSC and I look at many stocks daily in our filtering and selection process. JimSC states in his criteria : "3. For trades only -- no DD was done." I try to take the time to look for shortcomings, but sometime I miss them. Fortunately a lot of people visit this thread, and I am sure some do detailed DD, and hopefully they will highlight these negatives for everybody's benefit.
For instance, someone has called to my attention CKEI has filed to terminate their registration, or become a nonreporting pink sheet company, as late as Novemebr. Everyone should be aware of these fundamental negatives before buying anyone's picks. Although this negative is fact and does exist it is still very probably CKEI will have some upward PPS movement in the next couple of days.

KEEP UP THE WORK!...It is appriciated and it is very helpful in the learning proccess! THANKS!

10of13, sorry to hear your stuck. Being new it may be prudent if you watched, and/or paper traded for awhile. It might help you see patterens or establish a rythem. Our picks are strictly based on Unusually High Volumes coupled with Price Cycles showing evidence of MM accuumulation. We filter and select stocks that fit the criteria or model only. We cannot control the spread, or if or when someone buys/sells. Start looking at all the inofrmation you can find regarding volumes, both daily and averages, study the charts of the picks, and learn to recognize patterens and trends.
GOOD LUCK!

Nah Jelly, it's ok. I think it's healthy for people to post their disappointments. Gives others an oppurtunity to learn. It may even help improve a process by exposing unidentified weaknesses inherent in a system. It's all good Jelly. Luckily we are not pumping picks here just giving information based on our observations.

You'll always have people trying to tear apart something successful and you'll always have people who are not satisfied with the return on their money. So far, these picks have averaged out to a 45% gain. How can you argue with that? Sure, they haven't hit a "10 bagger" but if that's why you're playing these stocks, that's exactly why you'll be gone in a months time. Recognize these picks as a smart way to make good money in a short period of time and you'll do fine. And sooner or later, one of their picks will turn into a 10 bagger, just watch.

Oh will, I totally agree, I wasn't saying it in a bad way. Regardless, to save you time, that's all. You write out such nice thoughtful responses.

Borg: this is kinda *not* a newbie thread...no offense, mind you, but Will makes a *great point": if you're not confident--maybe, REALLY confident--in what's being said herein, it's a good, solid idea to papertrade...
I wouldn't say this is "expert" level...but it's certainly not "beginner" level...
the "turns" are quick, comparable to daytrading...and the dips are confusing...
That being said, it's defintely worth your study--these guys are on it...
my rant for the night...

any help would be much appreciated. i've really just come across the potential of this daytrading concept, and i'm already hooked and ready to get into it. thanks again.

I also have IVHG but if I recall correctly Jim stated at one time that the ones that take a little longer seem to produce better results :-) - just checked the last 5 days and 4 of those show a moderate gain with average volume --
It gapped up the morning after it was posted, and MM's never gave us a fair spread. If I recall the LOD was .006, the HOD was .0096. Since it has been trading with modest volume an an average of 5% gains per day, one of the last four days it was unchanged. Seems there is a fair spread on it now Bid .0082 / Ask .0083 / Last .0082 / HOD .0087 / Vol 50K.

Steam..yes it does show a gain...and understand that JimSC WAS CORRECT...his estimates with IVHG and it's gain were based on it being at .006 so it had increased by about 50% or more from the .006. Earlier this week it was as high as .0095...as I had said in my ealier post..I just got in too late...MY FAULT... JimSC and Will were right on with it!

I would have never looked at it, because it had already started its uptrend. Been up strong this week. Price and Volume would not have fit our models, but it looks like it was an awesome play a week or two ago. GOOD LUCK !

SMSE: you are right, no trades today. I made a mistake -- they were yesterday's data. GMTH: it will take at least 8 weeks for the next run; MMs needs a lot of shares. Best deals for today: EYII and IMNR -- make sure you get it at bottom by placing bids.

MLPH: Time for profit taking; never get sucked into a rally; don't follow the crowd -- they are losers; only follow the MMs -- they are selling now; MLPH could go higher, but the probability is bigger for it to go down; IMO only; do your DD and play your own game.

Had the first purchase of the day on a limit order at .0234 and they only filled 5k of the 75k order, then bumped the ask to .024....since then 18 staright buys and now price movement. I'll adjsut my limit up to .024 to get the remaining 70K shares, so make that 19 buys in a row...they have to let it go sometime!!!
Will back off GMTH for now...thanks!
