Phoenix Provides Update on Oil Drilling Program Jan 10, 2006 11:09:00 AM COVINGTON, LA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/10/06 -- Phoenix Associates Land Syndicate (Phoenix) (OTC: PBLS) is pleased to announce that Rome Oil hit oil on one of its three Kentucky leases over the recent holiday. According to C. G. Collins, Petroleum Engineer, "Each well could produce as much as 15,000 to 18,000 barrels of oil over its life. This expected production is in addition to what has already been recovered on this lease."
Rome Oil and Gas Company recently drilled two wells and hit oil in each well, which are "on the Rodgers Brothers 173 acre oil and gas lease located in the Flatwood area of Adair County, Kentucky. Adair County is located in south-central Kentucky," according to John Barksdale, President of Rome Oil, a subsidiary of Phoenix Associates Land Syndicate. Mr. Barksdale stated, "We plan to drill between 5-10 additional wells on this lease."

Hey all! I am a newbie to this board but have been lurking for some time. Just starting to educate myself about stocks, etc. As a risk taker I gravitated to the penny and sub penny stocks for larger quantity purchases. I am in some winners and some losers (which will hopefully become winners!). AMEP, GSHF, ERUG, VRDM, CLBE, ITGJ, GZFX, DMTN, GWGO, SSTY and PBLS (up 145%) just to name a few. I've made some good money with APPL, PIXR, HPQ and TGLDX, but they aren't as thrilling as the pennies. Of corse working on getting rich like all of the rest of you.
Any idea how high PBLS might go or what a good exit point might be?
