warped--I flipped it twice. First time from l0w .004s to .012, took less than a week. Second time from .004 to .014. Was just pure luck that I got in the day before the run the second time. so I only had to hold it two days...
but when I was playing they hadn't diluted...so I would check on the o/s before buying.

That's always a good move. I sold some stale stock (actually at a significant loss) to get this. That stale stock STILL hasn't gone back up much. So I'd rather be here... either that or in some rolling flipper stocks.

Let's put out heads together and try to figure out what's going to be reported on this upcoming quarterly. I don't know how long they have to file it, but I'd like to have an idea of how much impact it will have.
The 10K reported its only profits from the 51% stake in Sound City. It should stand that MOTG will continue to show profits from SC from June to October, ie upcoming 10Q. Will profits from SC have increased?
What else? They also own DeMarco and Hnet. Are these companys providing revenue? Will they? What will show on this 10Q?
I am in MOTG and holding long, as you know. But if the 10Q shows only revenues from SC as the 10K did and revenues did not significantly increase, I wonder if this level of pps can be maintaned. Are we prepared for another "as expected" financial report?
Okay, turn on the thinking machines Allstockers and let's figure out what's coming down the pipes.

Well, one thing is nice... the cost of acquisition has already been factored in. Let's just hope SC had a good quarter.
As for the other companies, I don't know how they generally perform, but I am under the impression that we're mostly depending on SC here. I hope they can finish that InMarketing thing SOON!

I think the q will show an increase in assets and rev's....we have demarco 1.5mil and hnet assets and rev's what ever they may be. even if it isn't much it is something...

folks over on RB aren't expecting much of a revenue increase on the Q. I hope that is not the case. They gotta get to 12 mil without inmarket so I think they should be showing at least 6 million in revs by sept...

Sound City "On January 24, 2005, the Company purchased 51% of Sound City for $2,000,000 with an option to acquire the remaining 49%."
So Sound City revenues on the 10K were for 6 months, January to June.
DeMarco Energy Systems of America, Inc. "We are the holder of an outstanding convertible debenture in the amount of $1,500,000 issued by DeMarco Energy Systems of America... We have no formal agreements with this portfolio company outside our being a holder of the convertible debenture, although our chairman, Anthony K. Welch, is also the chairman of DeMarco. "
Sounds like "no revenue from DeMarco." Moving on...
Hnet "On July 10, 2005, Modern Technology Corp. entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement with Anton Stephens, Dba H-NET." From a pr: "The H-NET technology is complete, market-proven, and has a long history of software sales as a dominating force in the Vision Care industry. The H-NET technology has an installed base of approximately 6,500 sites and serves the three largest retail vision care chains in the United States. Companies using H-NET.NET software include LensCrafters, Pearle Vision, Cole Vision, Eye Care Centers of America, Family Vision, Wal-Mart's Sam's Stores, Macy's Group, Bensons, Standard Optical (Canada), the Bay Group (Canada), Optica Lee Borinquin (Puerto Rico) and Scrivens Optical (UK)." Also: "it intends to expand its H-NET software technology to service the broader medical industry. After careful technical analysis, the company determined the present technology platform can be modified and adapted to a larger market segment of the medical industry beyond Vision Care."
So it sounds as if MOTG will see revenues from the Hnet subsidiary on this Q? If not, very soon! Comments?
Inmarketing "On August 10, 2005 we entered into a Letter of Intent to acquire 51% of InMarketing Group for an aggregate price of $2,000,000 under a Stock Purchase Agreement. The purchase price will be adjusted on reasonable terms specified in the Definitive Agreement pursuant to a pro rata adjustment predicated on a profitable $11,000,000 in revenues for 2005 generated by the InMarketing subsidiary."
Sounds yummy.
"We lease 1500 square feet of executive and administrative offices... This office space is rented to us for $850 per month by Mr. Welch, our CEO."
He rents office space to his own company! $$$$$$$

Net Loss: 2004: $118,296 2005: $1,123,816 "The increase in net loss is attributable to the expenses associated with acquisitions and related costs."
"The Registrant experienced increases in both operating and in officer's salaries from $24,364 in 2004 to $91,100 in 2005 and an increase in general and administrative expenses from $50,940 in 2004 to $895,903 in 2005. The reason for the change was an increase of business activity for the period, due primarily to the acquisition of Sound City."
Assets: 2004: $31,827 2005: $6,861,170
"Our ability to continue in existence is dependent on our having sufficient financial resources to cover operating expenses. We believe we have enough cash and equivalents to cover operations for the next twelve month period."
It sounds like this 10Q will show revenue from Sound City, and probably from Hnet. This may quell some concerns about the "only" $3,000,000 in revenues on the 10K, which did not show any revenues from Hnet, as it was acquired after the 10K.
So basically, if Hnet shows revenues for MOTG since July, it will be a nice 10Q. If not, looks like it will just be revs from Sound City again.
Either way, the next 2 Q's coming down the line should be OUTSTANDING!!
And that's without any MORE acquistions!
GL to all the longs! Any comments or additions?

Thanks BB, just curious what the opinion of people more in the know is. With commissions figured in I'm at about .083 per share. I still believe from looking at what the company seems to have going on it will go up. Am I being niave here? With the post to buy in at .04 are you of the opinion that it won't go up up and away anytime soon? Soon being in the 2-3 month time frame?

It will start moving again once the Q is out, the inmarketing deal is finished and the new acquition comes to fruition. If you can get shares lower than your entry point, go for it. I'd buy more, but I'm tapped out right now.

movingup--I really do not think this is going back to .04. There has not been any major selling the past few days. I would hold tight. If the Inmarket acquision is closed this will move up. And if for some horrible reason it doesn't, I still think this will trade between .07-.1 If you can wait 2-3 months, you should be okay.

WHG--Anything from the crystal ball...I think they have until tomorrow to file the Q. I'm really hoping the file the Q and announce the inmarket deal together, otherwise I fear there will be a let down if the revenue isn't hot.

Nothing yet. Other than they are working on it. Will let you know if I hear of anything.
What's up with diaaf? The original news I mentioned STILL hasn't come out. Sold it and bought more MOTG... may trade diaaf, but it's a little weird. I'm sure since I sold, the news will come out!

Forget this! I'm selling all my shares of MOTG! I'm not gonna wait anymore for something that's never gonna come. I think I'll just take all my money and buy one share of Google! :-)
Just kidding.
