Did you mean to say "It doesn't matter where you live but rather how much money you have in your bank"?
And Tom, I do realize this...that is why I am investing my own money as a college student...I'm also exploring entrepreneurial-type ventures to try to make some supplemental income...yet, wouldn't you say that attending Wake Forest University says something about where I'm headed? US News It's just below Georgetown...
But let me put this into perspective for you...What good is having this conversation? You're having it with a college student. And if you truly are as successful as you say you are, then this should be a waste of your time. Both this message board and talking to me. If $40,000 buys you a normal vacation, then you surely have enough to pay someone to watch over your entire financials and manage them for you, while you are off making more money or enjoying semi-retirement. See me--I'm trying to get to that point. I think I'm going to probably be working with stocks when I get older...and actual experience and internships is the way to go...so I'm starting early... I saw what looked like a good investment (QBID) and I jumped in on it...I might've jumped in too soon, but hell, we live and we learn... But I've learned early...
I'm looking for more stocks everyday...and different ways to trade and invest. While I do partake in the normal college activities, I am looking ahead to my future...I'm getting a jump on what I probably will be doing.
That's why I come to this board. I like hearing about the stock. I like talking about the stock. It's said when I hear people posting without any support to their arguments. And it's even worse when I can't understand what people are saying. I have enjoyed your posts...even though there were some that apparently caught you in a lie (even though it's all speculation)... But if you lie about something so small as to where you live, then the rest of what you say has to be taken with a grain of salt. So, again...I ask, I plead, I beg...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE revise your posts before posting them so I don't have to do my mental revision thing. I would love to hear what you have to say...not attempt to figure out what you have to say. Thanks in advance...I look forward to hearing from you.

mjm Yep, I agree with that. Others have said it better than I can, so I will paraphrase some of them: 1) The only thing negative about owning QBID shares is the current PPS. 2) Don't buy Q stock because you like the PPS, buy because you believe in the potential of the company. 3) QBID is an investment, not a daytrading stock. 4) If you have any doubts about your investment in QBID, visit the Burbank studio. 5) If you still have doubts about your investment in QBID, re-read every QBID post for the last two years. 6) Especially Whizknock's list. 7) And if you still have doubts about your investment in QBID, RE-READ WHIZKNOCK'S LIST until the doubts go away.
DISCLAIMER: "Forgive me, Father, for I have pumped . . . "
Yes, yes, and yes...I wholeheartedly agree with you 1) That's the only thing annoying me
2) If Viacom is making a network with the same purpose, then there has to be a market...I just like this one because I despise Viacom and also because Viacom is too expensive.
3) And there aren't many others like it...I chose to INVEST in this company...and I just recently clicked through a photo album of the Q studios. I was awe-struck. I was already excited about the potential of the company, but my excitement was rejuvenated.
4) I'm considering that...not because of doubts...but because I would love to go to California
5) I don't have time...but I have been for almost a year now...another year of posts would guarantee my failing out of college...haha
6) I agree with Whizknock... We are broadcasting. It's on TV...in a lot of areas...just not enough yet for any real PPS gains...so hopefully more news will come out soon. And if all that is true about the satellite companies (national and international) then I am extremely happy about this stock...
I think I need that same disclaimer too...haha...but it's just how I feel about my investment

OK, I have finally caught up on the posts! Whew!
I was out all day at the Tech-Wake Forest game then had a few adult beverages. somewhat ironic seeing your sig line mjm
I don't even particularly want the high end car (wouldn't turn it down, but..) I will settle for my own box at Bobby Dodd stadium and a beach house on the Mediterranean!!
As far as the company goes, I really see the carriers as being almost to the proverbial "tipping point". As we start hitting some big markets on Time Warner, it will only be a matter of time until we are nation wide.

And someone in the mound of posts I just read was talking about RCN in Jersey. It is actually Time Warner of New York and New Jersey listed on Q's site now, not just RCN NYC. I am assuming TW is the major carrier (or damn close to being the major carrier) in that area.

As for NY, I'm not as familiar with that area...but here's a verbal breakdown of the cable systems/providers that serve the greater NY/NYC area...It does seem that Time Warner has a stranglehold on the majority of the locations...

Yeah, that one breaks it down in a simpler manner...but I think mine dealt with the entire state. It's good, if that is the case, that we do have TW in NYC...because I think the majority of the demographic that this station is aimed toward lives in the areas TW serves (Manhattan for one)

This could explain the drop in pps over the last year as well as the dilution problem.
old news. posted in aug, q took down prs from the website. remember this??
well, they put the studio deal back up, but not the Triangle Multi-Media Begins Final Steps to Become a Fully Reporting Company/"We have hired Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP" from apr 18th.

Hey guys, i have a concern ive been thinking about reguarding qbid. If we are investing in TMM (qbid) and Q television is just a subsidiary of TMM, what will happen if Q television gets sold or made a trade of some sort and we are left holding shares of a shell. Could something like this happen and if so what would be the ramifications? meaning would we see any div's of some sort by the sale or trade of Q television or would be basically be screwed?
thanks

I think this was addressed in the Conference Call...Frank basically said that QTN is a wholly owned subsidiary of TMM. And he went on to say that the sale of QTN would result in compensation for TMM shareholders...Again, correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I heard and believe...

We are on time with the audit, and it will be made public upon completion. The audit will outline certain points.
1. Triangle Multi-Media owns Q Television Network. If Q Television Network is sold, Triangle Multi-Media shareholders will be paid.
2. The additional assets of Triangle Multi-Media will also be disclosed in the audit, and this audit will ultimately bring us to reporting status. Please allow another 60 days for this to be completed. Due to government agency reporting, we cannot pinpoint or control the exact date for completion of the audit and fully reporting status. I understand this information has been a long time coming and well deserved for the shareholders. This audit will show that the financial side of Triangle Multi-Media is just as structured as the creative side of Triangle Multi-Media.
3. The teleport has become an income-producing entity, and more importantly, the land we purchased with the teleport is on high ground with minimal damage. We have been running fiber uplinks throughout the country, and by week’s end we will have digital uplink service throughout the country.
We are on time with the audit, and it will be made public upon completion. The audit will outline certain points. I ask you to have confidence in our network. Contracts have been signed and are pending approval by the carrier companies. We will put this information out on the wire when we can. New advertisers have been signed, and you can view them on Q Television Network.
It’s our goal to be a profitable company. If Triangle Multi-Media continues on the path it’s on, we should break even by January 2006 and profitable by May 2006.

Hey Bigrod where did you get that information?
All I found on the schedule for 11:00 pm was CNN 25: Entertainment Weekly's Hit List: Entertainment Weekly's list of the 25 most important pop culture moments from the past quarter century.
Thanks
