I agree, i have been too. It's just so hard when there's a lot of potential. I'd prefer it to get to a dime and then sell 1/10th and ride it for free! Heheheh...

6k is peanuts for this stock. I actually missed out on a boatload by selling and expecting it to drop when it decided to run the next day. I'm holding tight now and only selling on for sure sell days.

That picture is from one of the pilot stores... Those stickers are not in all the stores yet... It just shows us what we are in store for in the coming year. I've talked to the store managers at the pilot stores and they all said reaction to GZFX was better than expected and that things were going very well so I am fully expecting a national rollout. With that being said... can you imagine how many subs we will get when every DVD from CC comes with a little sticker advertising GZFX?

Looks like ad is in the Sunday CCflyer again according to some posters on another board. I don't receive my paper for another 4 or 5 hours.

Jim - Yes the ad is running again this week. I just saw it in the Detroit CC flyer. This time they are advertising on the Xbox 360 page.

A good friend of mine manages a Circuit City here in Michigan. I asked him today if he has heard anything from corporate about GZFX coming to his store. He said not yet, but he and many other employees at his store are well aware of this company and the recent stock activity.

BB and movie Gallery just spend way too much money by having to use a store as a customer interface.
U.S. rental chain Movie Gallery posts loss as rental slump persists
DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - Movie Gallery Inc. Thursday posted a loss in the third quarter, hurt by acquisition-related charges and a persistent and sharp decline in rental revenue. The Dothan-based video rental chain, America's second-largest after Blockbuster Inc. and which has operations in Canada, reported a net loss of $12.5 million US, or 39 cents a share, for the period ended Oct. 2. That compares with earnings of $9.21 million, or 29 cents a share, in the prior third quarter.
Results for the latest quarter included charges for the company's April acquisition of video-store chain Hollywood Entertainment Corp. and damage caused by hurricanes.
Excluding items, the company posted a loss of $5.2 million, or 16 cents a share.
Revenue tripled to $572.4 million from $189.9 million.
Analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial had forecast, on average, earnings of six cents a share on sales of $585 million.
Shares of Movie Gallery slipped 17 cents, or 2.7 per cent, to $6.11 in afternoon trading Thursday on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
For the fourth quarter, Movie Gallery expects revenue between $675 million and $705 million, as same-store sales are predicted to fall by five per cent to nine per cent. Sales on that basis are generally those at stores open at least a year.
Wall Street had been expecting the company to post sales of $719 million.
The company said demand for new releases remains weak.
Movie Gallery chairman, president and chief executive Joe Malugen said during a conference call to discuss third-quarter earnings that the company plans to close about 75 to 100 video rental stores in 2006 and will explore joint venture and sublet opportunities at its existing stores.
The company - which has nearly 4,800 stores in the United States, Mexico and Canada - has put an emphasis on cutting costs by consolidating operations, closing stores, and cutting back on opening new stores while also considering a sale of its Game Crazy video game rental business.
Movie Gallery also expects its video-game-rental business to slow as game platforms age.
The company will have fewer than planned XBox 360 consoles for rental once the Microsoft Corp. device debuts at the end of November. Movie Gallery said it thinks its competitors will also have a shortage of the new consoles.
Movie Gallery is evaluating its struggling Game Crazy unit and may sell the division or seek a financial partner.
For the first nine months of the fiscal year, Movie Gallery had a net loss of $6.3 million, or 20 cents a share, compared with net income of $38.1 million, or $1.16 a share.
Revenue rose to $1.3 billion from $582.7 million

There's no doubt it'll end up going Nationwide. I hope they seek out other advertising once they get a solid profit out of all this. It's been the question of whether they will pull out of the red and soon it will be the question of whether they can invest their earnings properly. Right now regardless of how they are doing the hype is enough to keep the rpcie going. Once we get that 4th quarter report we will know what's up with this stock as far as the long term. And it may not even be green that we need to keep climing like this. Just more positive feelings in the company and its possible success.

yep... Next quarterly should show some improvement in revenues... kinda doubt we will see much in the way of net profit because this CC thing is costing money to put together. Hype is going to keep the PPS going for some time... but it's well placed hype as the chance for profitability is huge.

I don't really see how they can possibly screw up other than screwing up the heart of the money - the service itself. And they were very specific in the webcast about how they plan on making sure they can handle more subscribers before expanding advertising for them. I'm guessing that after the next quarter report the price is going to level out and slowly grow as they continue to expand unless they pull out another major sign of growth. But regardless I see this stock showing positive growth from now on like any other stable company.
I saw a ways back someone asking how many shares we all had. There's no way I'm going to tell you exactly what i got, but I'll let you know that 45k shares isn't even worth bothering to fill an order for me. I'd just wait until I fill another sale then rebuy if I had a little money like that laying around. But hey, the more little guys there are the better we'll do. Because they don't swing trade!

Yeah this deal with CC ensures solid growth into the forseeable future. GZFX has to live up to it's end of the bargain by offering fast and dependable service, but as a subscriber myself I can attest to the fact that the service is fine as far as I'm concerned... I tried netflix as well and didn't see much difference other than price and games. I also agree that asking me how many shares I have is futile.. cause I ain't telling... More than fourty five grand though.
